Willowbright jolted awake, bursting out of her nest and sending moss flying. She stood with her fur prickling and muscles tensed, waiting for her dream to rage on. The images still blurred her vision, causing her to curl her lip in disgust. They permanently engraved themselves into her mind and she shook herself, batting at her head with one paw to force them out. It didn't work.
From outside, the two voices of her clanmates rang around the quite, and empty, camp. The mid-morning sunlight filtered through the den walls and she made her way out of the den. Infront of her, Featherkit disappeared into what must have been the nursery and Willowbright searched for the clan's leader, Jaystar.

Jaystar pushed her way into camp to see her deputy Willowbright. "Hello Willowbright. Want to go hunting?" She asked, yes it wasn't usual for the clan leader and deputy to both leave camp for a hunting patrol but she felt like Willowbright could help her out with Featherkit and she wanted to hunt and the fresh kill pile was getting low. She arched her back in a stretch regretting carrying Featherkit all the way back to camp, she probably could have walked and that would have tired her out so it would be less likely she would cause trouble.

Featherkit watched as Willowbright woke up. Snorting, she lay in her nest, he eyes fluttering closed and awake. The morning sun had vanished and it had been replaced with a noon sun. Taking her time, she started slowly, surely digging a hole by the back of the nursery. It had barely gotten deep when finally she decided she could dig her way out of this situation. She quickly gathered her strength, and started digging a whole. If any cat came in she would simply lie on the hole.

Willowbright jumped as Jaystar approached her and then recovered, embarrassed.
“Oh! Hello, Jaystar!” The grey she-cat abrutly sat down and hoped to hide her skittish state, but behind, her tail lashed from side to side. Willowbright then liked her paw and ran it over her ear, before looking back up at Jaystar, listening.
“That's a great idea. Will Featherkit be fine in the camp?” She heard a certain protectiveness in her tone and blinked, before purring softly.

Jaystar hoped so. "Well she is already confined to the nursery for running out into the forest after I expressly to her not to but I guess so." She said leading the way to the exit of the camp. "That kit is more trouble than she is worth." She purred with a hint of fondness in her voice. Getting into the forest she waited for Willowbright, she liked her deputy very much and hoped she would be the next leader, she believed she had made the right choice as deputy.

Featherkit snorted as dirt flew up her nose. She sneezed quietly, as she felt her heart beating so hard it felt as if it were going to thump right out. Prodding on the sides, she began digging forward. She thanked the soft soil of the nursery. Her tail bobbed in out of the hole as she brought dirt in and out of the hole.
