Faridah Woke With a wide yawn, staring at the sunlight. 'What a beautiful it is going to be today.' She thought. She got up and stretched. While she was walking out of the cabin she saw a tiny mouse along. She licked her lips. the thought of that mouse makes her feel dizzy. Faridah pounced at it jumping everywhere, trying to catch it. Though after all she fell over her paws. 'When am I going to get a deal these days' She murmured. If Faridah saw anyone even someone she doesn't know, she would still go talk to them. Why would she refuse that request. She loves doing what she does. Getting attention. She went down by the lake just to take a quick sip at the lovely fresh water. Then, she started to head back to the main camp. while she was walking she saw, birds, deers, things that she would see everyday. She sighed. 'Why can't I see something different today, since it's my 21st birthday, but you know no one cares about her birthday, not even her parents.

Featherkit trotted happily out of camp, jumping on fallen trees and scanning fresh green ferns. She stoop up on a stump and puffed out her chest. "No matter how far I go, I will always come home.." She whispered, her eager jog turning into a fearless run. She was small but her speed was remarkable. She dodged swaying branches and jumped tiny puddles. She skidded to a halt when she got tired, breathing in and out. She looked around. She had no idea where she was.

Jaystar followed the kits scent to the dirt place, she prayed to StarClan that Featherkit had just gone out to make dirt but deep down she knew the truth, she had escaped through the dirt place tunnel. Following the kits scent she thought she had lost it through the scents of the clans dirt but once she got into the forest she picked it up again. The kit was fast, Jaystar was impressed about that. Her heart sunk as Featherkit's scent went closer to the two legs nests. She stopped seeing the tiny kit about twenty fox lengths away from the fences of the two leg nests. She stood up wind to Featherkit so she wouldn't be able to smell the leader. Hidden in a bramble bush she watched the kit figure out where she was.

Featherkit looked around, her eyes widening. "Anybody?" she murmured. Padding back they way she ran, she sat down by a large puddle and looked at her reflection. "I won't give up!" She meowed, taking off in the opposite direction of camp. "Jaystar!" Her voice faded as she trampled into the distance.

Jaystar crept forward, she was going to show Featherkit that she was there soon but she wanted the kit to learn her lesson. She watched as the kit tramped closer to the two leg place. If anything was going to hurt her Jaystar would show herself but she watched the kit making sure nothing would happen. She jumped onto the branch of a tree as a twig cracked under her foot, she climbed higher up the tree keeping her eye on the kit.

Featherkit saw big gates that led into weird dens. The smell of fire and twolegs ranked the air. Featherkit stepped forward timidly. 'No! I musn't!' She thought. Clibing onto a low branch, she headed back the opposite way, slowly but surely hopping branch to branch, her delicate weight would never break a sturdy branch, she was sure. She hopped safely onto the ground and huffed, sitting down. She sniffed around, looking for prey. Something familiar hit her nose. A cat. Featherkit looked thoroughly in the undergrowth. She became scared, stepping back into a puddle. Squealing, she slammed her paw hard on the puddle after whipping around at it. Breathing heavily, she sighed, sitting down in the hollow of a tree. "Guess I'm back to alone duty..." She said, resting her head on her paws.

Jaystar jumped down in front of the kit. She looked sternly at the kit she was so fond of, she had expressly told the kit that she could not leave the camp till she was an apprentice but she had directly disobeyed her. She flicked her tail waiting for the kit to talk first as she had run off, could she have been running away from the clan or just exploring the forest. She blinked trying to hide her disappointment in the tiny she-cat.

Featherkit jumped up and hissed, but to lay back down when she saw it was Jaystar. "Following me, I suppose?" She asks, in barely a whisper. She felt dissapointed in herself. Before Jaystar could answer she quickly added. "I was only exploring I didn't to mean to go as far as I did I really only wanted to explore outside the ring of camp and my legs got the best of me and I am really sorry please don't delay the apprenticeship I am super sorry and I won't do it again I promise!" Taken a deep breath she whimpered, looking to see what Jaystar's reaction would be.

Jaystar sighed picking the kit up by the scruff of her neck she didn't reply but raced off into the trees. Having the kit's scruff in her mouth gave her an excuse not to talk even though Featherkit would probably complain saying that she could walk herself. Sometimes Featherkit reminded her of herself when she was a kit. A memory flashed through her head of creeping out of camp when she was a kit and wandered so far she walked into another clans camp.

Featherkit pawed at the air, letting out little squeaks. "Let me go! I can keep up, you know that." She said, letting herself dangle hopelessly from Jaystar's jaws. She silently wished Jaystar wouldn't delay the apprenticingship.
