Kurama went elsewhere to hunt, limping of lightly her tail still not tucked, she growld and headed off the opposite direction of shadow. Ears fully alert up and perked she began tracking the the other heard of dear. "Maybe I'm not ment for this pack.." She sighed letting her head and tail droop. Still tracking the heard Kurama went was guided out of the packs territory. She hesitated for a moment befor continueing on. She heard distance howls of her pack and some strays.

{I'm not sure... Shear didn't go along with the hunt {only a selected few were invited by Shadow} so he's not with the group.}

{{ Okay here's a small recap for those who are confused at where everyone is and what's going on ^^

Shadow, Alera, Isis, and Kurama are on a hunting patrol orders weren't followed by Kurama and she was is being punished before she stormed off. Melody also showed up in the midst of it just as Kurama had killed the buck.

Conan and Snow are also on a seperate patrol and have succesfully killed a deer themselves.

Midnight and Aztec are also on patrol to find and kill the bobcat and fox that were scented nearby.

Shear and Sparrow are inside camp.

The Alpha snarled as Kurama walked off. For now, he did nothing, but his eyes portrayed a fight unfinished. He would definitely dish out a severe punishment for her defiance. For a moment, her actions reminded Shadow that she was not from the pack. She was a rogue taken in. And if she continued her attitude, she would go back to that. Or she would simply go to the dark world of death, depending. The brute turned back to the kill, pushng Kurama to the back of his mind. He bit the rump of the deer, tearing off a sizeable chunk of flesh. Then, he stepped back, signaling that Alera and Isis may take their turn with the meal. Any remains would be brought back to the pack for the omegas. But by then, usually the prey was reduced to .mall scraps and bone. Shadow moved only a slight distance away, settling in a clear patch to dine.

Kurama was in a low crouch she was stalking a deer fawn that had strayed to far from the heard. Hiram's lay flat her ears pinned back against her skull, the air already smelled of females in heat, she knew one of her female pack mates where already in hear, she dreaded this season... Being take in in as a pup that showed promise, indeed hat promise did show she was a vary fine and excellent hunter, but everything comes with a price, she was born alpha heir of her pack so thus naturally had the attitude of a female alpha, she was vary defiance and BARLY followed anyone's orders. She had her pride and ego,and all this was what made her the strong wolf she was today. Once the deer fawn as close enough she sprang out almost on top of the calf as she nocked it down filled with anger she latched her jaws on the calls spine and her jaws locked and she went in to a frenzy of a shake, until the spine snapped, she stood there growling still holding on to her prey, this one died quietly so the pack did not hear no cry. Yet she stood there tall jaws still locked on her fur bristled her hackles raised and her tail mid way up her hostility was slowly escalating.

Pissed that Shadow had motioned for the alphas to take their bites, then take it back to the omegas, I sit nearby the carcass, behind the deers back where nobody can really see me as much. I creep forward and raise my head. I pretend to be timid in asking "Can I have the neck meat? Its the toughest and I know you guys dont want it. It will make the carcass lighter and I will only take a bit" I reason.

(deer babies are called fawns, not calfs. Those are elk ))

Alera knew with his snarled reaction she would possibly be the viewer of a a fight between the two later, she sighed and looked to where Kurama had disapeared. "If she even comes back.." She thought gazing into the distance for a moment before the sound of tearing flesh brought her back. She turned her attention back to the deer as Shadow tore off himself the desired meat to eat. She sat down patiently waiting for him to finish and signal her turn. Her mouth watered as the scent of the fresh carcass wafted towards her layered in the scent of blood, She scanned the area for any signs of approaching coyotes looking for an easy meal. She couldn't see any of the pests but that didn't mean they couldn't be lurking in the shadows just out of her view. Though she had her suspicions she shrugged it off when Shadow signaled that she and Isis make take their share. She stepped forward once Shadow was settled and sniffed over the carcass, it's short fur tickling her nose as she sniffed over it. Settling for the loin and bit into it, biting through the tough hide she reached the meat beneath and tore off a sizeable amout. Walking away she laid down a few feet away careful to keep in the open to keep an eye out for coyotes and any other predators that may be lurking around.

Before she had eaten much she noticed Melody easing toward the carcass, a low rumble of warning raising in her throat and erupting from her blood covered maw. She licked her chops as she watched her begging for the neck meat, her gaze turned to Shadow the growl ending as she faced him. The fea had a point but still it was for Shadow to decide if she could have it or not.

xxxxxxxxxxThe dark gray she-wolf lowered her body to the ground, her stomach fur touching the grass slightly, a slithery feeling as she waited just behind and to the side of her alpha, her ears flattened, eyes watching him for his signal. She could practically taste the deer. That is, until the other huntress decided to bolt off on her own, taking down a weaker deer on her own, but not listening to her alpha, a clear sign of disobedience. She may not have meant it that way but that was the only way it could be taken. As much as she didn't like the laws of the pack, or how sternly they were held up, would never dare to disrespect her alpha the way that Kurama did. Shaking her head as she watched the other fae stalk off, she looked at Shadow as he tore into the meat, her own ears perked forward, eyes locked on his form. When he gave the signal that they could eat, she let Alera bolt to it first, before walking over slowly, taking her time as she lay down next to it, setting her delicate paws on it gently, holding the body down as she delicately broke the skin, eating a small piece at a time. She was very feminine in everything she did, including how she ate, a strange thing about her, yet it showed how she cared for her looks, but not overly so. She didn't want to look like a pig like some wolves did when they ate, it disgusted her.

Shadow was dining quit peacefully. He had pushed Kurama to the very back of his mind, taking time to simply enjoy this meal. The sun was steadily rising in the sky. Soon, it would be directly above, signaling midday. The brute rose to his paws in time to notice Melody. He snarled, lunging with his fur on end. "You eat last!" he yelled, barking a vicious bark. He threw his body forward in a threat. Shadow's orange eyes were on fire. What has gotten into the pack today!? He then howled another one of his signature, bone-chilling howls. It sounded similar to dead trees shrieking in the wind. His midnight fur was dull with rage. Shadow barked, simply a bit of a request that Alera and Isis hurry so that they can get back to camp. He had had enough for now.
