The laws of our pack have been carved into our DNA since the beginning of our group. They are strict laws, and they ensure strength for the pack. No matter if you agree to them, they are the law of our nature.

1. Only the Alpha can mate. This ensures healthy and strong pups. The Beta may also mate with permission from the Alpha.

2. The Alpha and Beta may mate with whom ever they would like at any time.

3. Any pups not born of the Alpha or Beta are to be killed.

4. If a different brute mates, his fate will be decided by the Alpha.

5. Any black females must be killed.

6. There is only a single black female allowed in the pack. She is to be ranked lower than the lowest Omega. She is never to be mated to.

7. No Omega can mate.

8. Any wolf with a deformity is an Omega.

9. Any wolf that is not one of the accepted colors is an Omega.

10. The accepted colors are black (males only), white, red/copper, and silver.

Tʜᴇ Lᴀɴᴅ
The place: Ivy Woods. Named for its abundance of ivy vines. The forest sports huge oak trees, almost every one with vines clinging to its trunk. In the center if the forest is the pack camp. Among the camp are the dens of the wolves. The Alpha den is a cave with a small outcropping known as Alpha Rock. To the south is a freshwater lake. To the east, a meadow. To the north is an abandoned human ranch. And to the west, a small willow tree grove with a stream running through it.

Hmm. Shadow has a complex personality indeed. He is a cold brute. Strict, too. Shadow lives by the laws. He is very aggressive and forceful. Needless to say, Shadow does exploit his rank as Alpha. Most of the time, he appears to have no heart. And you'd be right. Shadow could kill, and never feel regret of guilt. He could stare at a dying thing, and never feel sorrow or empathy. Never. Overall, a cruel, violent brute. He is just a dark, cold shadow. But there may be a hidden side that you do not yet see. You may never see. But it is there to be unwrapped.

h i s t o r y ::
Shadow's history is one filled with violence and trajedy. Shadow was born wild. He grew up as the strong, but kind, pup in his litter. He was a straight-shot for Alpha. Back then, the pack worked together in harmony, despite the laws. But all of that was ruined when the humans came. They killed any adults for their pelts, and they took any pups to sell. Not as pets, as fighters. Warriors in a duel to the death simply for human enjoyment.

Shadow was sold to a particularly harsh man. His training methods included a lot of beating and constant fighting. Shadow was rarely fed. Soon enough, the time came when Shadow entered the ring. His first opponent was a Pitbull. Shadow won. From then on, Shadow adopted the fighting life. Merciless. Cold. Violent. And he was often a top choice for bidding. But when one game was stopped by police, his career was over. Since he was a wolf, Shadow was simply released back to the wild instead of being put down like the dogs. He returned to the pack, claiming the title of Alpha. But beware, for his past had never left him.

I am a very hostile gal. I don't have many, or any, friends really because I am black, and I am a she-wolf, which is forbidden. I fight with whoever tries to tangle with me but I accept my position as below-omega. I can be extremely sweet, but I choose not to most of the time. I can also be sexy, mischievous, sneaky, cunning, graceful, and powerful. I have all of these things pent up inside of me, but my color of my fur says I am bad, and that I should be dead.

I was born into a pack of wolves with many laws bred into our DNA, and one of those rules, was that all black she-wolves were to be killed if born. I was the exception. My mother hid me from everyone else until I was old enough to fight back a little, and then she brought me back to the pack with the rest of my siblings. She guarded me against all the other wolves, and they finally decided not to kill me, but only if I would stay as below-omega. Those above me, everyone, make me do all the nasty chores and most hunting in the pack. Until recently, I kept my feelings to myself. But now I feel like I am strong enough to start trying to become an Omega, I know because just last week I pulled down an adult male moose (with antlers) alone after the other hunters had gone after a deer. I am strong, and I am now ready to take on whoever challenges me, I have never felt this way before, eek!

I weigh about 90lb.

p h y s i c a l ::
I have had no health problems, besides a little starvation as a pup. I am big, strong, well-built, muscular, and hardy. My claws are sharp and dig into the ground, my bones thin but not frail, my fur thick but not shaggy. My eyes are alert but not big, my nose sharp, my ears large and keen, my muscles developed but not bulging. I am the picture of health, with no fleas, no ticks, sharp teeth, and the ability to wait for hours for prey.
