Journey of 5 - Warriors RP

A tidal wave of fear surges through the clan. So many cats, so many so young, are falling around. You may be fine one minute and in the very grip of death's jaws the next. No where is safe. For this merciless predator can fit through the smallest gaps under rocks, force it's way through the green ferns protecting the nursery, leap over the highest rock by the leader's den. It is the worst thing that has ever happened to the clan. And yet this unstoppable force is rampaging every clan, killing cats in seconds. The Death Bite, they call it, for the moment it catches you, you feel pain, searing, red hot pain, before you fall limp. The strongest warrior is defeated in seconds. It is fiercer than all of StarClan, more unforgiving than Tigerclaw, more savage than a pack of hungry dogs. If anything can bring down the clans, it is this.
It is the Black Cough and it is deadly.

You are a mere apprentice of ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan or WindClan. (StarClan will be different and roleplayed by myself) You should have died by now, you have watched others fall around you. Yet you live. You have to help the Medicine Cat, it is the only way, they say, even though you may have no idea of what you are doing. Suddenly, the Medicine cat crumples, as graceful as a Leaffall. "No!" you cry in terror. A strange, pale light fills the den. You hear the voice of a cat you have never met, yet their voice is somehow familiar, coming out of the weakening Medicine cat's mouth.

"5 paws will meet in darkest tides,
One from each clan, all should have died,
But only these five young cats,
Can ever get the Clan life back.

Find the rock where venom lives,
Near the cats that swim and dive,
Meet there with others who share your fate,
And for Starclan's sake do not be late!"

You are terrified and look around for someone else the prophecy could be about, for a prophecy it surely was, but there is only you there. You swallow your fear and head towards the Adder Rock, for where else does venom live? And there you wait for the others, the others who will save the lives of their Clan - and yours.
Will you accept your fate and help the other cats? Or will you help only yourself and your own clan?

1. Activity
For me, this is the most important rule. This is going to be a tiny roleplay with just 5 people. Therefore, it is essential that you are active. I expect at the very least 1 post every 2 days. If you will be unable to meet this requirement then do not join this roleplay. Obviously, if you are on holiday or have an event coming up that will delay your posting by a very maximum of 2 weeks, then just PM me and I will keep your character held up with something until you are able to post again.

2. Literacy
This is a semi-high let roleplay, as stated in both the title and the section this roleplay is in. I will expect a minimum of 6 lines in normal sized font of just roleplaying, before resizing and prettying up. With writers block I still expect a very minimum of 4 lines. I won't be checking every post, but if your post seems particularly short due to small font size I may quote it to check. If you post less than six lines, or less than four lines when stating you have writers block, you will get a strike. And by six/four lines, I mean six/four nearly full/full lines, not one word on the sixth/fourth line. Using the excuse of Writers Block too often may also get you in trouble. Also, please have good grammar, spelling and please do not use text talk! See the Out Of Character rule for information on when text talk, bad grammar and bad spelling may be tolerated.

3. Characters
I will only be accepting 5 characters for the 5 prophecy cats. If you could not tell by the 'Five paws' in the prophecy, all the cats must be apprentices. Nothing else, only 5 apprentices. Therefore, you may only have one cat.
Of course you can put other cats in your history or think about other cats, but you may not roleplay as them. They are just on the side characters.
Please do not make:
Mary/Gary Sue - "A Warriors Mary-Sue is usually loud, obnoxious and (of course) an amazing warrior. She'll usually have some tragic past that led her to become a warrior, and she'll upstage all of the Canonical characters with her mad Sueish powerz." Information found here
Canon Characters - I know that most Warriors name do feature in the books but please no Blue/Fire[insert suffix here] or any other famous characters. If you are choosing a relatively well known character name, such as Raven, please make sure their personality and looks are atleast slightly different from the character in the book. Remember, I'll be checking your creativity when I come to deciding whether or not to accept you!
Please do not:
Powerplay - "Power playing occurs in role playing, and it's when you control someone else's character, as well as your own, without the other person's permission."

Make unrealistic names - eg Cookiekit, Inkpaw, ect. - or make uneven genders. If you notice there are a lot of she-cats please make a tom.
Please, just don't do any of these. Just make your character have a few flaws, control only your own character and have realistic names.

4. Post Contents
Similar to Literacy but not quite. Please don't make your whole post about how Daisykit's eyes sparkled or how Lionheart's fur gleamed. This gives other people very little to reply to and is often the cause of short posts.
I'm not saying not to describe your character - please do! - but make sure you make your character do something that another cat can relate to.
Also, absolutely NO swearing, in OOC or in character, even starred out. Swearing is something I take very seriously and you may be banned or get 1-2 strikes, depending on the severity of the swearing. Of course, Warriors cursing, eg mousebrain, foxdung, is perfectly fine!
Please make sure you use Warriors words, if you do not know warriors very well then do not join.

5. Out Of Character
Please make anything you say Out Of Character very clear; eg. using quotes

or brackets ({[<>]}). I do not mind bad grammer/text talk for OOC but I would prefer if you did not. This does not include anything you put in forms - text talk of bad grammar in this will not be tolerated, but the occasional grammar mistake is fine as everyone makes mistakes!

6. Forms
Please make your own forms, it helps show me your creativity. They do not have to be works of art but a bit of prettying-up would be good. Whilst I will be very lax on what you can do with your forms - go crazy! - please include my form basics.

Sorry if these seem very strict - I am generally a nice person but I want this roleplay to be under control and successful!

S T A R C L A N...A P P R E N T I C E

The Black Cough is even affecting Star Clan. We are dead, yet we are dying. We were meant to pad eternally in the stars, but now we are unable to move. And what will happen when we die again? Where will we go?
So I came. I am the oldest cat in Star Clan, yet I am only an apprentice. For I was the very first kit in Lynx Clan, the clan that came even before Lion and Tiger Clan. The cats of our clan knew not how to make a clan work. I was the only kit to survive through kithood, but they died before Star Clan was made, before we knew about it. Our leader, StarPelt, wanted to know more about the land in the skies. So he sacrificed his own kit - me. I found my way to this land and loved it, and all anger I had felt at my father was gone. I visited my father often, telling him about this land. And when cats were ready to die I would take them here, lead them to this place. I named out clan Star Clan, after the stars we padded through. In memory of me, my father changed his name to PeltStar and all other leaders after him had that name suffix. In memory of my father, they named the place where we lived Star Pelt, where we could watch down upon the clans.

I am an technically an apprentice, but I am as wise and old as any Elder.
Age;
Well, this is complicated! Whilst I am, of course, many many moons older than any cat alive, I was about 9 moons when I died so that is how old I look.
Personality; on the surface;
Here in StarClan I have everything I could ever wish for, so the more positive side to my personality comes out. But now I am here, I am different.
First of all, lets get the negatives out of the way - hopefully these will not show;
Stubborn - I am very stubborn. This can be a good thing, I suppose, but when combined with my other traits you will see why this can be bad.
Proud - I am proud. Wasn't I the cat who founded Star Clan, the first cat to die for her clan? Whilst I try not to be arrogant, I feel I reserve some respect for this. Not to mention I am older than any elder!
Moody - I'm afraid I can be quite moody, especially around younger cats. I try not to be, but I cannot help it. I will tolerate them if they are good and respectful, but I would prefer not to be treated like an equal.
Mature - I am MUCH more mature than any other cat of my size! I despise being talked to like an inferior apprentice.

Now, for the more positive sides;
Leader - I am a great leader. I try to be patient and am great in pressurised situations. I believe in justice and equality of all cats of the same rank, though you must be respectful to anyone older than you or of a higher rank.
Confident - I believe in myself and my cats. Everyone has a talent, everyone is needed. Simple.
Honest - I am honest, and will not lie. I can be slightly blunt, but why put sweeten my words? I criticise so cats can improve, not to put them down, though.

History;
My history goes through too many sun sleeps to describe it all, and my life on the ground was short so I have little I can say on this subject, I'm afraid.

She was found alone but old enough to remember, she could not remember where she came from or who she knew. The last thing she remembered was falling unconscious and then waking up in a strange smelling den which she later found out to be the Medicine den. She spent the first few days in there and grew to find the smells and sounds of the herbs and medicine cat interesting. Two days after she arrived the medicine cat realised she was blind and told the leader, Robinpaw became worried that they would not let her stay but they surprised her and let her join the clan giving her the name Robinkit.

She spent almost ever second of every day in the medicine den and she could tell that the medicine cat liked the company. She had soon learnt all the herbs by smell but still didn't know what most of them meant. She felt like the medicine den was like her home and only spent time in the nursery when she slept since she was the only kit in the clan. As her sixth moon came closer she began to become more worried about what would happen to her. When the day came she was so nervous she became sick. She was in the medicine den when the medicine cat asked her, would she become his apprentice. She immediately agreed with her heart full.

That day she became his apprentice and spent the next half moon focusing on learning. She learnt what almost every herb that they used was for along with the ones she already knew from her kit hood. Then the terrible day came that changed her life and the life of the clans forever.

Stubborn: She is stubborn with her ideas and will not step down until she gets her way which can be a good or a bad thing. She will stubbornly stand up for her beliefs and ideas not caring what any other cat will say about it. The only cat that could change her mind was the now dead medicine cat that now runs with StarClan.

Truthful: Robinkit will always speak her mind and tell the truth which a lot of the time gets her into trouble. There has been many times she has done that at the wrong time and her mentor has had to stop her. She will only lie or hide the truth if she thinks it right, other than that she will tell the complete and honest truth.

Quick tongued: Along with her truthfulness she is quick tongued and ready with smart come backs or answers that get her into trouble. She will reply in any way that could be rude or the complete opposite. She is very unpredictable and has been called sharp tongued or quick tongued more times than she remembers.

Independent: She is independent in everything she does, healing, working or anything it is very rare for her to accept help or aid of any kind. She believes that she can do anything by herself that she puts her mind to and will stand by it. She never works in a team preferring to be a solo worker. She doubts that if she had a mate that she would be very good with that kind of thing because of her independent personality but maybe if she finds someone she truly loves it might work but she doubts she will ever know.

Loyal: She may not be the nicest cat to be around but she is loyal to the core. Even though she is not a warrior she is still one hundred percent loyal to the warrior code. Even though her clan was destroyed she still feels loyal to them and does not like mixing with the other medicine cat apprentices even though they have different rules to warriors that allow them to a degree.

Mature: Robinkit is very mature for her age, mature enough to be a senior warrior, well on the outside anyway, sometimes when she is alone she can or will act like an immature kit but very rarely since she can't chase butterfly's or pounce on leaves without sight but sometimes she wishes that she could just be a normal warrior apprentice with no worries about StarClans next prophecy or the health of her clan.

Proud: She is very proud not ever showing weakness or admitting she is wrong or needs help. Her proudness is sometimes a weakness or fatal flaw but she would never admit it because of her proudness.

Galepaw is as his name sounds; he is a russian blue and as fast as the wind. What he lacks in strength he makes up for in speed but he's slowly getting stronger. He tends to be just as his name implies as well, a one-track mind that tends to like taking shortcuts if he sees one that will work. Sometimes he doesn't think things through, a downside for him, but he will always make up for it during the course of the trouble that ensues. That will be when he gets serious and he'll even apologize for his mistakes afterwards, if they weren't too bad which normally... they aren't, being just an apprentice after all. However, with this new burden placed upon him... he's quite a bit nervous and knows full well that the fate of the clans entirely rests upon his shoulders and four others' shoulders, all of them apprentices only.

He won't show he's nervous though; even with the Black Cough that's spreading around he's been as uppity as ever and even a lot more helpful and serious about things. He's grown some but can still charge head-long (and sometimes recklessly) into something he doesn't know about, especially since he wants to save everyone else before they die. His siblings had succumbed to it and his father died from it as well. His mother still lives but she's in the grip of death even as he makes his way for the intended meeting ground. This will be what can cause him to charge recklessly ahead into things as they journey.

Despite all this, he has his good points. He can be serious when needed and thoughtful when held back, always willing to listen to another's opinion, however impatient he might be. However, make him stay out of any action for too long and he'll have his paws itching to run off again. He's very kind and helpful and knows a few useful herbs and what they look like and where they grow. He made sure to gather what helpful information he could before leaving. Also, due to being only two moons away from becoming a full-fledged warrior, he is quite knowledgeable on battle tactics and moves and even has made up his own since he relies more on speed than strength.
