The shadowy she-cat flicked her tail in the direction of the SunClan camp, signaling Rain. "So, what do you say?"

RAIN smiled. "I'd love to come. If you must talk to your leader first though, I will wait." Rain didn't know what else to say. This cat- whom she did not know the name of yet- was offering shelter. "May I ask of your name?"

THUNDERKIT I guess is sleeping.

Orangeblossom yawned. She was not used to parenting, and the kits were becoming so energetic that she broke. "Lets go outside", she said. She heard yelps of happiness as she herded her kits outside. "I am going to watch you very carefully, okay? Do not go away from the nursery. Do you understand me?", she was very serious about this. The kits were only a day or two (?) old. She was surprised they were so energetic already. They are related to me, she thought. She chuckled and watched her kits.

Tawnykit was amazed, she had never been outside of the den before. Besides, of course, when she was born. But she did not really believe that counted, as she had not been aware of her surroundings. She strayed away from her mother, who had taken her eyes off of her for a moment. She looked at the trees that she could see past the entrance of camp. They spoke to her, come heatherkit, she heard it say. be the best warrior you can. These of course were all part of her imagination, but she walked, in a trance, out of camp. She kept walking, smelling the air for scents of prey. She finally saw a squirrel. She had never seen a living one before, only ones that had been brought to her mother. She decided that the next squirrel brought to her mother would be caught by her. The young kit crouched low and prepared to jump. She, of course, startled the squirrel, but it did not run away. It was not scared of a kit. It simply sat there. Tawnykit jumped, but of course she had not realized she had to keep quiet or that she could not jump. With an "arr", she leaped. She fell on the ground in front of her, less than a foot closer to the squirrel. Its ears perked up and it had now run away. Tawnykit gave up and started walking around. I will be a mighty warrior, she thought. She climbed a tree seeing a large yellow and black insect, she pawed it playfully. The insect jabbed its gluteus maximus into her skin. She felt a horrible sensation, pain. She fell off of the tree, which did not really matter as she was not up high, but it hurt badly where she had been stung. She lied there, hoping someone would come and help her.

THUNDERKIT woke up to the mention of a new word. Outside. He padded out with his mother and sisters and felt the soft breeze. He was a small thing, he almost got knocked over by the wind. "Huff.. Huff.. Roooar!" He tried to make a loud noise but instead only huffs escaped his mouth. He yawned, he was tired. He heard mewling in the forest, and a buzz not far from here. "Orangeblossom!! Orangeblossom! Tawnykit is gone, in the forest!" He hopped and squealed to get his mother's attention. Tears were coming out of his eyes- he seemed very emotional. He had never heard of death before, let alone known or seen it. But he knew what had happened would not be good. Help! Help! he thought. He kept mewing for his mother until she'd answer him.

Orangeblossom leaped up. "What?", she was taken aback. She knew that her kits wanted to be good warriors, but she never expected this. She knew she would need to stay with her kits, but she could not leave Heatherkit out there all alone. "Anyone!? Go find Tawnykit! She left, she's in the forest!", she herded her 2 kits into the den and sat there. I'm a horrible mother. I took my eyes off of her!, she thought. The best she could do was just sit there.

Surprisingly, nightmares hadn't haunted her dreams this night, yet her heart still ached for her siblings and father. She'd often leave the camp on her own and talk to the sky, imagining that her family could hear, or she'd go to the river and close her eyes to imagine that she's surrounded by the rushing water of the ocean. The ocean. It always reminded her of Leaffeather and her knowledge. The ocean has seen so much and knows anything, just like Leaffeather. On the journey to the river, she'd imagine that Fawnspot is right behind her, looking for prey.
Yes, her heart did ache for her family and siblings, but even worse were the nightmares. She'd often re-visit the times when her family was whole. One could consider it a beautiful dream, but the pain that came when she woke up was unreal.
Sighing, the she-cat licked down her fur before exiting the den, confused by the lack of cats in the camp.

The tom's brown eyes continued to search for his mentor, but the black pelt was nowhere in sight and instead Dustpaw's attention was grasped by a moving fur-ball. No, it wasn't a fur-ball... It was a kit. A kit ? He thought, but the obvious conclusion didn't hit him and instead of thinking Dustpaw found himself following the kit out of the camp just when Orangeblossom asked anyone to go find her kit.
The tom's curious eyes remained on the fur-ball whilst she attempted at catching the squirrel and his paws followed after the kit when she wandered away. Only after she fell did the apprentice approach the small cat. You alright ? He asked before sniffing at the kit. The scent was somewhat familiar, but Dustpaw couldn't quite place it and instead of waiting for an answer, the tom grabbed the small creature by the scruff and began to pad over to the camp.

Tawnykit found herself being picked up by a cat with Sunclan scent. By the looks of it, an apprentice."what's your name?", she asked him. The she cat did not know everyone in the clans name yet because, of course, this was the first time she had been outside. "My side hurts", she said. It did, she was still in pain. She decided she would wait until they got to camp to drama-ish.
