Bayzelger--

Bayzelger flapped around his wings, slapping them on the tree. He walked down the hall of chambers, rolled away a stone and pulled out a bat and pressed it against the wall. "When I bite your head, will it go, POP, or will it go CRACK." Bay reached his beak down and started eating at the bat.

Eternal--

"Well.. firstly, I was flying to it for shelter, but it had owls so.. heh yea.. But I just wanted to meet you, you really helped me. But to be honest, I'm lost." I flapped my wings, I was not so cold, because I was use to being cold, but still, it was pretty cold. I twitch my ears and look at the bat with interested, earthy blue eyes.

Drenda wasn't an idiot to see that the poor pup was freezing out here too. She rolled her eyes lightly and shook her head. "Not that! you're a fox bat! Fox bat's belong in the cold!" Drenda murmured as she opened her wing for the younger one. "It's freezing out here. I'm surprised you lasted as long as you did!" Her grey eyes gleam lightly at her. "C'mon over here before you freze to death."

Leona groaned quietly, feeling sickened to be called an owl at that moment as she soon hopped out of the tree, her great golden eyes gleaming grimly as she gazed out over the frozen wasteland. Her head swiveled at the sound of a mouse and without preamble she gave her injured wing a flap, testing to see if it would work properly at last and when it seemed to without too much trouble she swooped down to hunt for herself, not interested in hearing Bay cruelly jeer at his own meal. when she caught the mouse she made sure to kill it swiftly iin her talons as she brought it back to her nest.

Eternal--
I shivered, I was a little confused, but I felt comfort as I watched the gleam in this bat's eyes. I smiled softly, and walked slowly to the bat. I got close enough to feel the warmth, of this large bat's beautiful wing. "My name is Eternal." I said softly.

Bayzelger--
Bayzelger lifted his head stiffly as he gulped the last piece of bat. He look outside and thought for a moment. He smiled to himself, what a wonderful idea Bay... He thought in his head. He would just use a humans net and use it for an easy catch. But for now, he would let the bats think they have escaped, he needed little spies somehow. But how would he get a spy? The bats would be weary of a leering owl... Perhaps a more skilled animal. But what? He would have to consult with the other owls.

Drenda huffed quietly and shuffled closer, eventually able to wrap her wing around the young pup as she looked around. "I'm Drenda...and I'm a long way from home." She sighed quietly. "It may have been boring there...but it was home for me." She murmured as she closed her eyes for a moment focusing on getting warmer again.

Eternal

I looked into Drenda's face and smiled very softly. "I understand missing something, but I can't imagine home." I shiver a little and tuck my head into my fur. Laying back my ears to warm them against my head.

Drenda sighed softly. "Home is where you feel safest and not so alone anymore...I wish I'd known that before I had to leave it." She murmured this quietly as she felt Eternal settle against her. "Go and sleep little one...you've had a bit of a rough morning..."

I nod a little bit, and cozy next to Drenda, my fur ruffles as I start to fall asleep. Soon my dreams came..
I sit in a tree hollow, when I start falling down. A great bat simalar to me flies down catching me. We fly off before being caught in a large thick human web. I look around, it now being darker than anything. To see the shadow of an owl. Fear strikes deep within my heart when the owl suddenly lurches toward me.
I wake from my sleep, but then settle back down closing my eyes.

Resting calmly with Eternal safe in her wings, Drenda dreamed of her family back home and of flight in the darkness. She awoke however when Eternal seemed to stiffen from a disturbance and she opened her eyes quickly, tensed in case of another attack. "What's wrong?" she murmured when she settled down slowly, realizing there was no danger. Ears wide and rotating, Drenda kept a look out in case of any owls.
