She may look like a sweetheart, but that's only bait. Amaia is short tempered, hard-working, and independent fae. Now, we all know what short tempered means, right? It means if someone made a rude comment about her or someone/something she cares about, she cracks right after. At first, it's growling and circling. Then, if the someone does it again, she starts clawing and biting. Not soft, gentle bites and scratches. Hurtful, vicious bites and scratches. Sometimes, if she's feeling nice enough, she will stop if you say mercy if you aren't fighting back. Other than that, she is very hard-working. Once she needs to get a job done, her mind is put to it and she won't stop till it's finished. Unless, of course, the one who gave her the job tells her she can stop. Always, she will keep her ranking and will try to be the best at it. Last but not least, Amaia is very independent. She refuses to have help, especially when she needs it the most. She is not very good with talking to others, which means she is better working alone than with a group. She enjoys being in packs, but not where she has to be paired up with a partner to finish a job.
Amaia was born in an Alaskan town on June 27th, 2010. She had five other siblings, two of them died on their day of birth. So technically, she only had three, which were her brothers. They were named Fang, J.j, and Ryder, and they would always pick on Amaia because she was the runt. She was lucky enough to even survive, but she had to deal with her siblings and get them off her case. She decided to somehow 'persuade' her owner into letting her be apart of the team when she was older. Her plan was this; train, become the best, become one of the lead dogs, boom. Her brothers would be too afraid of her strength and power over the team to pick on her. Anyways, she had a good puphood other than the fact her brothers picked on her. She was the favorite amongst all the huskies, and they all loved how cute and sweet she was. She even made grumpy, old Kraken thump his tail when she went up to him or messed around with a toy. When she was around a year and a half old, she try to make her owner see how strong, fast, and obedient she was. But, her owner didn't seem to notice, not even her mate. Her mate was mean. He would pin crimes that his dog, Roden, did on Amaia. He also sometimes gave Amaia a good kick in the side or a slap across her delicate face. Sadly enough, her owner did believe her mate and thought Amaia wasn't good enough to be apart of the team. Somehow, her brothers were though. Instead of training for races, she was forced to breed with two of the top notch racers on teams from all over the region when she was two years and a week old. Her 'mates' were Sniper and Rocky. She was the mother of a total of 18 pups. Eleven in one litter, seven in the other. Having two fake mates in less than two years was to much for her, so she ran away once her second litter was sold. She went feral and lived with a pack of wolves for awhile before sneaking on to a plane, hoping it would take her far away. The plane landed here and she found you.

-------------------------------------------------------------- ╚════════════════════════════════╝ NAME→ Hello there! My name is Harleigh. {har-lee} It means 'from the hare's meadow.' Why my owners named me that, I have absolutely no idea. But its okay. My name's Harleigh, and it always has been, so I wouldn't change it. I like it. Harleigh suits me. AGE→ I am about three years old, but not for sure. I really don't keep track. GENDER→ Excuse you. That is the stupidest question I've ever been asked. I'm a fae, if you couldn't smell that. Thank you very much. RANK→ I'm a pack helper, I do a little of everything. PACK→ I'm a member of city pack. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
"..EVERY TIME YOU SMILE, I SMILE.."
APPEARANCE→ I'm proud to say I am a border collie. Though I look different from most border collies, I am indeed one. I'm anuncommon color. My coat is goldish blonde and creamy white. Its called gold merle Border collie. I am purebred, papers and all. Obviously I don't carry them around with me or anything...I don't know where they're at, but they exist. Anyways, getting back on topic, my legs, chest, neck, muzzle, forehead, and belly are white. My ears, back, sides, and haunches vary from a light, sandy color to dark strawberry blonde, depending on the lighting. My eyes are very light brown or I guess could also be classified as amber. I'm somewhere around nineteen inches tall and weigh twenty eight pounds. I'm built very thin and slender, agile and my body is good for running and jumping. In my past I was trained for agility which I was quite good at, due to my being light on my feet. My paw pads are black. My ears naturally perk up about halfway then flop over, however sometimes they are completely down.
"..AND EVERY TIME YOU SHINE, I'LL SHINE FOR YOU.."
PERSONALITY→ First off, I'm a take-no-crap kind of fae. You wanna start something with me? Go ahead, see where that gets you. Getting off that topic. I'm a quite loud and rambunctious fae to be quite honest. I love having fun and I can be a troublemaker. I am not really afraid of anything, I often do things without thinking of the consequences - which can be bad thing at times, but can also be a good thing. I'm outgoing and most others would tell you I'm a blast to be around. I can be sassy and a flirt. I like to make friends and tend to come across as rude sometimes. But I'm really kind and over think things a lot, and deep down I do wonder what people think of me. However, it seems as if I don't have a care in the world, and I plan to keep it that way.
Nobody really understands me, but I don't think about it much. I'm different, and that isn't a bad thing. I don't play by the rules very often. I love to do things like running and jumping, I also enjoy swimming. Many dogs dislike it but that's something I don't understand, I just love the feeling of it. I'm brave and I'll do almost anything to protect the ones I love. I'm not afraid to try new things or meet new people. The way I see it is, if you're friendly with me, I'll be friendly with you. I'm flirty pretty much toward any brutes but I'm not rude about it, just teasing. I don't like to see others sad and I'm a good friend. I'll take things seriously when they need to be taken seriously.
When something bad happens, and by bad I mean like, someone gets hurt, or something like that, I tend to avoid the problem. That's something I really need to work on. I feel like if I just ignore it and pretend its not there...it won't be there. Which is bad. I need to work on that. I try to avoid drama when I can but if I can't then oh well. I would rather confront someone and ask them their problem with me straight up than let them start rumors about me. Deep down, I really just want to have fun and be loved. Doesn't everybody?
"..WOAH, I'M FEELIN' YOU BABY.."
HISTORY→ My past. Ah, lets see, shall we? Well I lived with a family of humans. A rich, caring, Border Collie-breeding family of humans. They were kind to us. My litter was quite large. It consisted of five other pups, six in all. Four girls, two boys. Let me tell you about my family. My mother's name was Allison. My mother was a black and white pure bred Border Collie with papers. She was thin and agile but older. About seven years old. Our owners trained her for agility but she became too old and retired. They didn't get rid of her because she could breed to make great show dogs. I didn't know my father because he was a stud dog. Our owners paid for him to mate with my mother and he left. I was the only gold merle in our litter. There was Tasha, a red merle with blue eyes. Next was Roxy, a standard black and white fae with brown eyes. Then Shane, who looked exactly like Roxy. Fourth you had Roy, who was like Roxy and Shane, however instead of black his fur was chocolatey brown with a reddish sheen. Next came Ariana, another red merle. Then there was me.
We all loved each other and we were close. We all got trained for agility. I was quite good at it. Almost always earned my owners the blue ribbons. I was one of their most prized dogs. I was quick and slender, jumped high and landed silently and gracefully, moving like lightning through the agility course. My owners were proud of me. I loved being in agility contests too. I felt proud that I usually got a prize. It was nice, and I felt important.
Well that only lasted a little over two years. Then I just stopped. I became a house pet. No more agility contests. They walked me and stuff, and the kids played with me, but it just wasn't what I wanted. I needed somewhere to run and be open and wild. They couldn't give me that. So one day, the kids were at school and the father was at work. The mother was at the agility ring with my brother Shane. And the kitchen window was open. I remember staring at it for what felt like hours, going back and forth, back and forth, between the decision. And I made up my mind. I leaped onto the counter and managed to squeeze out of the window. I ran and ran and never looked back. And well, here I am.
"..DON'T BE AFRAID TO JUMP THEN FALL.."
