((I think we can shorten it to 5 days, maybe 4 - I've had my wolves alternating between saying 'a few days' and 'roughly a week' so I think 5 is good now that we're almost through with the first day. Goldie, you can bring in Bastian whenever you please, I like busy wolves ^^ Also, I'm going to teleport the hunters home now))
Maia huffed, letting go of the elk cow and stretching her back in a long, smooth arch. Her quicksilver fur appeared a slate grey in the last rays of the setting sun, refusing to glimmer as it usually did. Stretching her jaws, the alpha gave a big smile to her hunting crew. Everyone had done their jobs with perfect accuracy, and she couldn't be more proud to have them all. Seeing as she had already given her congratulations though, she held back from praising them even more, not wanting anyone *cough*Lilith*cough* to get too big an ego. The ash dove giggled lightly at her own thoughts, before letting out a wide yawn.
Lilith, too, stretched her lean, willowy figure as the last of the sun's rays disappeared behind the horizon. The moon was nearly full in the darkening sky, giving her eyes a silvery tint as she glanced towards the med. den. She was definitely ready for some of Tanga's famous tea...
"Hey baby cakes."
The sultry voice that rang out was one that obviously belonged to no one in the pack, the teasing edge coming from the foliage just down the hill. A white figure emerged from the brush, gleaming with a radiance that outshone the moon, as Lia approached her sisters and, by association, the hunting party. Her scent seemed to swirl about her, the subtlety of wildflowers in bloom intoxicating to those curious enough to sniff it out as she reached her youngest sister. Giving the two a mischievous little grin, the snowy fae finally glanced down at the bedraggled form of the dead elk.
Both sisters seemed to wilt slightly in the presence of the eldest, though Maia more noticeably so. "Hey Lia, what brings you around?" Lilith asked, feeling gangly and awkward next to the ethereal fae. Even when Lia shrugged, the motion was full of a purposeful, coy elegance that blended seamlessly with her character. "It's been months."
In truth, Lia had not visited the mountain pack since her sisters had originally joined it, feeling out of place among all the fine hunters. "Just came to check in on my girls," the loner replied with ease, dulcet tones like sweet, smooth caramel as she ruffled Lilith's ears with one moonlight paw, seeming only now to realize they had company. Of course, her emerald orbs had spotted the myriad of hunters, but only now did she look the them with an obvious gaze. Her coal-rimmed orbs were invariably drawn to the strong figure of Samreth - having never been one to get along with other faes, or even really care for them - giving a visible appreciation for his cut figure and proud stance.
((Oh gosh, how I missed you Lia *snuggles profusely*))
