Saber gave a quick nod and swiveled on his massive paws, which went from clumsy to precise in a blink as he went into action. His long legs ate up the ground quickly as he ran, allowing Lilu only half a moment's glance at the long bloody scratches running down his shoulder. The dark brute disappeared into the trees in just a few long bounds, hurrying to the den he had entered earlier that day to see the peculiar cages of mice that Lilu kept. He paid no mind to them now, however, and he quickly found the apparatus the dove had described and quickly took hold of it, pausing briefly to wonder if he should wake Gemini. He carried the branch out of the den, dropping it carefully on the ground and hurrying to the alpha's den. It must have been quite a jarring awakening for the shy alpha, to hear the rough, urgent voice, "Gemini!" and open sleepy eyes to the dark face and glowing eyes of the huge brute in front of him. "Aella's hurt," Saber told the alpha as soon as his eyes opened. "I'm taking the carrier to Lilu now." With that the large head withdrew as Saber went back to the carrier and resumed his journey back to Lilu.
Amara accepted the white satchel, stringing it about her thin body. She followed Tanga out of the den and gave herself a shake, standing a little taller. She stood beside the small fae, ready to follow, and listened to what she said. "What do those herbs do?" She asked, having heard the names before, and wondered if one of them had ever been used on her. With no other wolves around, Amara stood a little taller than usual, weak legs stretching out and relaxing. Although the dove was skinny, some of her body, like her legs, had a suggestive firmness to them. It was hard to see unless she stood straight, but one could tell that had she been raised in good health, she would be a decent sized wolf, maybe even larger than average for these lithe mountain wolves.
