Snowpaw gave a slight smile as Cloudpaw's fur brushed against hers. "I guess maybe thats okay." she said, and they where approaching the lake. "But if you fall in- Im coming for you." she said, a hint of worry in her voice. Snowpaw was'nt going to let Palepaw drown if she did fall in. "So- Cloudpaw, if it is safe, are you going to go on the ice?" she asked, trying to start a conversation with Cloudpaw.

Cloudpaw turned to Snowpaw and smiled. "I don't think I am going across. I believe Palepaw is going because of how skinny and small she is. I am not really sure if I will go I the ice if it is safe. You never know what can happen.." He responded, but he realized he must sound like a scardey cat so he quickly scrambled to change his response. "On the other hand..I might do it just so Spottedfire is proud of me!" His eyes sparkled but yet quickly dulled with Brokenpaw said that they might be an item. "A-are you sure about that? I don't know if Spottedfire will take to him so easily.." He sighed and scrambled his paws on the ground. Now she is not going to even have any time for me. She will be to busy with Swiftstar!

Grayeye sat in the poofy snow and closed his eyes. But the peace only lasted for a second. Suddenly, a crashing weight rocketed into the tom's side, plowing him into the snow. The cold stuff went up his nose and into his ears, and he unsteadily climbed to his feet. He shook his head to clear it, and swiveled to look at who ran into him. Grayeye smiled at the she-cat. Hurt? Naw. Scared. Yup! He managed to control his shivering paws and padded over a little closer to Softstorm. "I'm fine, just a little uh. . . surprised, that's all," he smiled cheerfully. "Are you alright?" Grayeye looked her up and down to check for any hurt limbs. Satisfied, he smiled at her with his crooked head and smile.

The tortoiseshell she-cat yawned, she had walked back to the cave
with her new mate, her pelt brushing his. Spottedfire looked at Swiftstar, who was
snoring beside her, she could feel his fur rising and falling, and she sighed. It was,
had to be, one of the best days she had faced. She stood, careful not to wake the tom
beside her, and walked to the freshkill pile, choosing the rabbit her apprentice caught earlier,
another rush of pride going through her as she dragged the prey back to the den, and curled
beside Swiftstar once more.
