Oak sighed, looking calmly at Pumpkin with a gaze that showed his mild annoyance. "Pumpkin- you're less clumsy than you think. Every cat has a purpose; you're clearly an excellent mentor, and I've seen you bring back huge amounts of prey. Being uncoordinated doesn't stop you from being a loyal and skilful warrior." The tomcat spoke with wisdom beyond his young age, and he met Pumpkin's eyes as he continued, "I know some cats are mean to you, and I've already punished one cat for that already. But you shouldn't let that stop you- the best warriors are those who follow their hearts, no matter who it angers or disappoints. Because, in the end... the only one who matters is yourself." He looked behind him, at Bramble, and gave her a warm, friendly smile. Look after Pumpkin... Something tells me she needs to be taken care of. Out of the corner of his golden gaze, he noticed Bird disappearing under a bush; puzzlement clouded his mind, and the young tom blinked in obvious confusion. "You okay?" he mouthed at his oldest friend. Bird had always been close to him; was she upset with Oak now? His head fell. I bet it's 'cause I'm High Prince.
Well... I don't know. I mean, you already have king's mate, but then again, when Oak comes to power...
Okay, then. You can make healer if you like ^^
{I'll PM you about the next king's mate, seeing as you'll roleplay the two cats who will decide who it'll be}

Dove slipped out of the healer's den, leaving Petal with her jaws full of herbs the apprentice had given her. They were disgusting, sure; but the young queen wanted to do the very best for her unborn kittens. Her paws tingled with excitement; soon, she would be a mother. A mother! The very thought sent shivers down her slender spine. She wanted to do something; catching sight of Cardinal at the opposite side of the camp, Dove made her way over the tangle of roots with difficulty, her breathing laboured, finding the uneven ground tricky with her swollen belly. Finally reaching the other she-cat, she purred, "Hello there, Cardinal! Lovely weather today. Have you been out hunting yet?" The questions were polite, yet friendly. Dove enjoyed talking to other cats; it made her feel warm and safe inside.
