Raventail loomed behind Aspenstar, his muscles bunched and his heart raced as images if battle seared through his dark head. His green eyes blazed with determination and loyality, his claws flexed in and out.

Fallenleaves
Chasing after his clan mates, he squished down his terror of what they were going to find so all that was left was the anger that someone or something had hurt one of his clan mates. Leaping into the battle, he punced on the first invader that he saw takeing him by suprise. He felt his claws dig into his opponent's pelt until they reached the skin. He felt saticfaction when he heard him yowl in pain. Fallenleaves felt his opponent get ready to roll over and squish him, but he was prepared and jumped when they rolled. Now that belly fur was exposed, he lept and placed one paw in his neck and started to rake the soft under belly of his opponent. He was too focused on raking, that he didn't realise that his paw shifted until he felt a nip on his paw. Realing back he hissed, but by the look of his opponet; he was almost finished. By taking slow steps forward, he was slowly but surely pushing his opponent away from his companions and up against a tree. Taking one more step, his opponent looked behind him and noticed that he was up against a tree. He was distracted; and Fallenleaves took this time to get a few swips in. He cut down his face, ear and nose; making him look like a bloody mess on one side of his face. Raising his paw, claws extended, his opponent's eyes filled with fear before turning tails and retreting into the fight to be by his clan mates. Raceing back into the fight, he looked around for his next opponent.

Firepaw watched in horror as Feathertail fell too, and dashed away from the battle to fetch Stonepaw. The medicine cat's apprentice was cowering up the hill, and jumped when Firepaw ran up. Firepaw gasped for air, gesturing down the cliff.

Stonepaw followed Firepaw's foreleg and gasped as she noticed Aspenstar and Feathertail on the ground. She scrambled down the cliff with a yowl, Firepaw close at her heels. Grabbing cobwebs, Stonepaw burst into the heat of the battle, ducking and dodging to reach Feathertail. She spread the cobwebs on, and looked up to see Firepaw organizing the warriors into a circle around her. Feathertail's eyes were open, and he was still alive, but it was up to her to save him. She couldn't see Puddleheart anywhere, so she grabbed a stick and held it out to him. He accepted it gratefully, biting down to lessen the pain in his side. Stonepaw spread more cobwebs on, and the flow of blood subsided. She looked up and was grateful to see that her clanmates had almost completely chased the other cats away, leaving them in peace in the clearing.

Firepaw stood by Stonepaw's side, anxiously glancing at Feathertail. Aspenstar was gasping for air, and she didn't have to be a medicine cat to see that his throut was crushed, blocking his airway.

Stonepaw moved next to Aspenstar and slid a clean claw along his neck, ending his first life. His wounds healed and he opened his eyes again. Stonepaw sighed in relief. The battle was over, and her clan was safe.

Aspenstar
Aspenstar nodded his thanks to the deaf medicine cat and lifted himself off the ground. He was glad he had saved Firepaw, for she seemed like she would make a courageous warrior. He made a mental note to perform her ceremony to make her an official warrior, and if Raventail ever left or died, she would make a good deputy. He had seen her telling the other cats to defend Stonepaw and organizing them easily without seeming bossy, and the other cats obeyed her without question. Feathertail lay on the ground with a cobwebbed gash on his side, and Aspenstar nudged Firepaw aside to stand before his old friend.

Feathertail
Feathertail bit down hard on the stick and ignored the fiery pain in his side. Determined to be strong, he stood as soon as Stonepaw had finished tending to his wound. He opened his mouth awkwardly, unsure how to thank the young she-cat for saving his life.

Puddleheart

Puddleheart had heard the call but remained in camp with the queens, elders and kits. she was impatiently waiting, hoping her aprentice would be able to tend to any wounds.

Petaltail was fiercely battling but stopped when she noticed her leader being tended to and moved into the circle to protect her hurt clanmates and medicine cat aprentice. she was worried but fought with the power of tigerclan combined. she felt a gash from stray claws and winced, turning onto a muscular, flat faced intruder. she hissed and pounced on him, bitting at his scruff to pull him down. he was twice her side and took it as an advantage, landing on the clumsy she-cat. she gasped, coughing as the wind was knocked out of her but managed to slide away, turning around to land a strong blow square on his face. he winced and cried out as her claws scratched his muzzle and cheek, then he dashed off along with other fleeing attackers that were beginning to be sent off by her ferocious clanmates.

Honeyflower laid outside the nursery. Aspenstar had told her that she couldn't join in the fight. The cream she-cat flicked her tail angrily. "I can't believe Aspenstar would do this! I want to prove my loyalty too!" she growled under her breath. Getting up she started pacing back and forth. Her head was down and her pelt pruckled with anger.


Aspenleaf waited in the clearing with her littermate, Oakstorm, and made sure that the entrance was well protected. Their ginger pelts gleamed in the sunlight, making Aspenleaf's pelt a firy color and Oakstorm's a shade darker. Their eyes were trained on the entrance. A deep growl waited in their throats. Aspenleaf's ear twitched as Kesteralpaw and Reedpaw walked through the entrance to trade places with her and the ginger and black tom.

Fallenleaves
Spining around, he saw Firepaw organizing a plan. Quickly joining in, he could tell that they were trying to defend Stonepaw. Seeing a massive cat trying to get through the barrier of cats. Instinctively he lept without thinking and was batted away like a fly. He hit the ground harded and was winded for a second. But that was enough time for the massive cat to leap and start clawing at Fallenleave's belly. Yowling in agony, he could tell that this giant cat was going to kill him without hisitation. With some remaining strength, he lifted his hind legs and clawed at his opponent's belly. Now it was this cat's turn to yowl in pain. Squeeze out of it's grip the moment it was distracted, and he turned and faced this massive cat without fear. Only anger. He lept, with his agile body, he flew over the head and landed neatly on it's back and started clawing at it's shoulders. With out warning, this giant heavy cat rolled over and squished Fallenleaves leaving him again winded. With the air left in his body, he yowled for help.

Hawkclaw
Hawkclaw glanced around, panting. She had been at the edge of the battle, fighting with only one tom the entire time. He was strong, but Hawkclaw was determined. She watched him scramble away, then padded over to where her leader stood.

Fallenleaves
He noticed a two figures moving around. One was Hawkclaw. After winning a fight with a tom that looked stonger than her, she padded over to Aspenstar. With his remaining strength, he pushed off of his opponent and yowled to her "Hawkclaw! Help!" before being knocked over by this massive cat. Fallenleaves could tell he was lossing blood. And quickly. With his vision blurring, all that was in focus, was the big pale face of this cat that would kill him if he didn't get help soon. He hoped with all his heart that She had head him cry out for help. Other wise. He was doomed.
