Plot
Running that's all you can think of doing. Lost in the forest, nowhere to go. You stop and stiff around, you smell other wolves, where should you go what should you do? Are you a Loner, or will you fight for status and acceptance in a pack, or will you find other wolves and create a pack of your own? Your decision will determine the fate of your self and others. These are the Packs of the Brave, but question is, are you brave enough to join them?

Rules:

All of Tess' Rules Apply!
No cursing
Don't kill others without their permission
Fade to black if necessary.
7 characters per person please.
No unnatural markings/colors. (unless necessary)
Try not to go 15 posts without me.
Unless necessary, please try not to be your own mate.
Please write at least 1 paragraph (6 sentences) in each post,and no more that 4 paragraphs.
If you read the rules please state: "The barn owl has amazing hearing" in the comments portion of your form.
Try to use real wolf behaviors. (listed below)
To create a pack you must have at least 3 wolves and me supporting the pack's creation.
You can't automatically become a higher rank you must compete for it.

Each time you break a rule you will get a strike.

Two strikes= one character is deleted
Three strikes= you are forever banned from the RP

[Argulor]

The Forest is filled with old growth trees that tower high above you, touching the sky. The soil is usually soft and damp , with small bugs crawling underneath. Beams of light shine through the thick ancient trees, and mosses and lichens cover the bark. It is teaming with wildlife, birds, plants, and mammals thrive here. Inside the forest there are huge clearings with grass and weeds up to your hackles. There is a river flowing throughout the forest. Elk and deer dart between the thick trees. The forest is your home.

Prey: white-tailed deer, elk, moose.
Locating prey: scent, chance encounter, tracking. Once prey is located; wolves become alert and head towards prey
The stalk: quicken pace as they near prey, attempting to conceal themselves
The encounter: large prey will stand their ground; wolves need to get it running in order to pursue it.
The rush: wolves chase single prey; most critical part of hunt
The chase: wolves attempt to catch prey or wear out large prey.
The kill: wolves will bite hindquarters of large mammals, then bite throat.

Hmm... my name, well names are funny things. Sometimes names have significant meanings, yet to others names are just different ways of saying, "come here!" I personally like my name, Ekvin, Eck-vin, it's fun to say, right? Anyway it's better than being named Sally or something.

Why would you even ask this!? I'm Alpha!! I already have a mate, who is amazing, beautiful, and the bestest (so great I had to use improper grammer) mate ever! And I'm NOT just saying that because if I said otherwise I'd be dead in two seconds flat. (Just kidding babe.)

My personality, well I'd say I'm sweet, lovable, caring, funny, fierce, brave, clever, funny, pure awesome, strong, smart, oh yeah and did I mention that I'm downright hilarious? Any way I personally think I'm a pretty good leader. Even though I'm young, I can make some quality decisions, and my pack's safety is first. Leading a pack is stressful but I somehow pull through. I believe that gut decisions are always right, no matter what others say.

Well I was born into the Obsidian pack, and my late father Byliric, ruled the pack quite brutally. So when I was about 1 1/2 years old I ran away from home. I missed mother dearly but after a while I became very hungry and I was so weak. But later I managed, I don't know how, but I killed a elderly elk by myself. So as I walked about, now an experienced hunter I soon stumbled into the fire grass territory and I became a packer. I won the favor of the pack and, well, here I am.

I'm Nikita. My name represents me in some ways. But let's cut to the chase, it's just the title my parents gave me.

My pup Icarus, or Icky as some call him, is my first and only concern. I once had a crush, but I was only a pup, back then. Crushes are for pups, not for mothers.

My mate was killed a year ago, along with my other pups. Just because I had a litter their lives are no more. I will worry about a mate once I know Icky's safe.

Well, I'm a bit quiet, for sure, but on the inside I'm a loving caring mother. I will give a thousand of my lives to ensure the health of my pup, and that's all that matters. I don't think I'm a brilliant mother nor do I think I deserve the love of Icarus, but I love him with all my heart. I can't stand when others underestimate me, and I can't stand being the center of attention. I know that I'll do anything to ensure the safety of those I love.

I grew up as a normal pup, born from a normal litter, I was just another pup in the litter. So at 2 years I was ready, so I found myself a mate, he was a loner called Shadow and I loved him very much. Well that winter I was supposed to mate with the Alpha at the time, a brute named Byliric, I hated that wolf. So one day I went into the forest and mated with Shadow, I figured Byliric wouldn't know if didn't have his pups. Well I was wrong, on an early spring morning I went deep into the forest and bore 4 healthy pups, when I walked back into the pack with them, the Alpha found out about Shadow and told me he was dead, then he lurched at my pups and killed 3 of them, before he could kill Icarus I took off into the forest, without looking back.
