Fiske grazed quietly, her silky black ears constantly swiveling around; hearing for anything dangerous. The fact that predators could be around any corner didn’t really bother her, but she braced herself anyway. Fiske lifted her head, trotting after Jiro. She smiled, tossing her head in the air as a greeting. “I’m bored,” she said, “do you want to talk or something? You haven’t spoken in a while.”

Astrid galloped through the hilly landscape of grass, leaping over the occasional rock. Her black nostrils flared as she swerved around, whinnying quietly to herself. As a loner, she had nothing better to do but exercise, since there was nothing much to do. The muscular palomino mare slowed down to a slow trot; and eventually to a walk. Astrid lowered her head and nibbled at the short grass that grew at her hooves. Enough of this grass would satisfy her and give her more energy for another run.

I may look mean,
I may act mean.
But I am anything
But mean.
The stallion gazed over the land. His hooves itched to just take off and run. Run forever. Alas, he could not. The land was not yet his. Yet. The midnight brute snorted, then turned at the sound of a voice. He recognized the mare as Fiske, one of his mares. "Ah, hello Fiske. I'm sorry that I've been unable to entertain you lately. I'm just busy trying to grow the herd, that's all," he replied, his voice deep and strong. Just like him. True, Jiro had the tendency to come off as mean and aggressive, especially when fighting for or shaking a mare, but he is very nice to his herd. "Did you have anything in mind to do?" he asked the black mare.

Velvet Blossom

A chestnut mare trotted across the plains, nostrils flared, hazel eyes scouring the landscape regularly. A fresh mark was upon her rump, evidence of an earlier skirmish. The mare was frantic, but masked it with an outward show of calm. Her hooves beat the earth at relaxed, regular beats, nothing showing how she felt right now. Except, of course, her eyes.

The mare, her coat burning as if it was aflame, had been tried for just a second ago by a bachelor. Once he'd seen the fraidy mare, he lunged after her, teeth bared. Blossom had beat it immediately, running away as fast she could. It was funny, if he'd bothered to talk to her she would have almost certainly submitted, scared and comforted as she was by all things wild. But, no need to mention that now. As the mare trotted, she found a lake, and attempting to calm herself, took a few large gulps, before she sighed, wading in and letting the water soak her coat, relieving it of the dirt that had clung to her as she had fleed.
Mostly just on rps now. XD

This 15.3 hh Akhal-Teke mare, encased in a beautifully spread dapple grey coat, also has a slender neck, that delicately holds a beautiful head. Synabyl's coat is quite uncommon for her breed, whose regular coat color is that of buckskin and palomino. Her body build is that of a regular Akhal-Teke, she has a refined head with predominantly a straight or slightly convex profile, and long ears. Her long back is lightly muscled, and is coupled to a flat croup and long, upright neck, she possesses sloping shoulders and thin skin. She has strong, tough, but fine limbs. Then she has a rather slim body and ribcage, with a deep chest.
p e r s o n a l i t y ::
Synabyl is a very lively, alert mare, as she thinks, she got it from her breed characteristics. She has a very courageous, confident side and tends to fight instead of flight. Being the brave mare she is, she is also very protective of herself, not allowing stallions to take hold of her. Although she is tough, she does have a sweet side and tends to care for foals every once and awhile, so long as they are weaned and can eat grass and drink water. When she faces a stallion, she tends to be aggressive towards them, not allowing them to get near her.
h i s t o r y ::
"Momma look at this!" A six month old little filly nudged her mother's leg. "What is it this time Synabyl?" Came she gentle voice of the eight year old mare. "Look what landed on my face!" The little filly's high pitched voice told the older mare. "What is it?!" Synabyl asked the mare, Abbervail, her mother. The wise mare chuckled and replied, "It's a butterfly my dear." Synabyl's eyes crossed as she tried to look at it, without making it fly away.
---
"Momma! Momma where are you!" A frantic yearling called out for her mother, hoping to find her in the wildfire, which was spreading quickly. Salem, her father ran beside her and tried to nudge her away from the flaming forest. The filly gave in with a fit of coughs as the smoke entered her lungs. "C'mon, it's not safe here anymore." Salem tried to sooth his foal in a calm voice.
---
The two year old Akhal-Teke filly gave a kick to the bachelor stallion. "Get away from me you pest." Synabyl's voice hissed at the stallion as she gave another kick to his neck. Her dapple grey coat gave a glint and her slender neck outstretched as she bit at the bachelor's face, grazing it and leaving a trail of blood coming from the wound. Once the stallion got the hint to leave her alone, and turned and ran, before getting her even more, Synabyl bucked once and ran towards the forest.
---
The mare snorted and continued to graze. Now a healthy four year old, still alone after two year, she had managed to fight off any threats and any bachelor and band stallions dumb enough to come after her. She seemed proud to call the little part of the forest and the small clearing it held in the middle, her own land. Even if she was a mare, she seemed like a stallion, owning her own territory, not giving a care in the world, protecting herself.
---
The now six year old mare stood in the clearing, the ashes of the burnt grass swirled around her. She stomped her hoof and bucked. "I knew I shouldn't have come back after the fire! My part of the forest is ruined! These wildfires are going to be the end of me!" Synabyl reared before stretching her neck and taking off in a full gallop, ignoring the small burning spots she was inflicting on herself as she ran through the forest.
---
Synabyl's mane and tail whipped through the wind as she continued to run through the lush green fields and finally entered the small beautiful forest she was looking for. "Finally!" The mare's voice echoed through the empty forest as she trees swayed through the wind. She trotted around, hoping to find a place to hide her from the naked eye. She glanced at the small rocky hill to her right and noticed a large gap that could just be faintly seen. "Perfect." She stated as she walked to the small hill and noticed the whole opening. She entered and was amazed as the faint gurgling of a stream echoed through out the small cave the was hidden by the hill. She trotted up the the stream and bent her slender neck down, gulping down mouthfuls of the cold, crisp fresh water. "This place is beautiful." She murmured to herself.

Nereid

Warm, comforting. The sun engulfed her in a serene state, keeping her small frame heated with the still morning dew that lie about. The roan mare even had the fortunate luck to awaken with peace, nothing seemed to be able to ruin her morning so far, save those pesky little prairie flies that nipped at her barrel and muzzle. Nereid dipped her lengthy neck to nibble at the moist grass, her velvety lips snatching it up silently.
Ears up, yet relaxed, her tail swatting at the slightest discomfort. With her hot blood, the she horse would generally be on high alert, at every waking moment, but today began rather...different. She couldn't quite think how, nor why, yet she kept her hopes up to maybe get the fortune to acquaint another four legged beast.
First off. I'm trying my best to be active. Please give some leeway for I am always busy and try to be as active as possible.
I'm an avid advanced Rp'er, so don't be shy lovelies. c: 1x1 is great or invite me to a blog.

Eiyota

The sun seemed to burn the Palomino stallions back as he grazed near a tree line leading into a small wooded area, he often spent his time in there, thinking, exploring though Eiyota gets bored easily, it was a place where not many horses dared to go in as the tightly packed in trees restricted some horses, making them feel claustrophobic or whatever, Eiyota never really understood it. Not mention it was dark all the time in there, compared to the plains at least, Eiyota enjoyed his independence in there though he felt like he could say that this was his territory so to speak, up till now at least. Ah yes the matter of securing mares to start a herd.
Although Eiyota wouldn't mind, the idea of owning mares no matter how many always frightened him in a way, maybe his older brothers were to blame for that, but constantly living in fear of them being snaked away and being his sole responsibility made him wonder slightly, though he's always known this was the only way to succeed in calling the land his own.
Eiyota shook himself and started to take a few steps forward in order to stop the heavy sun on his back from burning so much, though he still grazed peacefully.

The sun shone down on Blue's grey fur through parts in thr branches above her.But other then thoughs few spots patches of sun her path was dark. Branches swept past above her head. She held it high she dark eyes that stood out against her pale face scanned the dark forest before her carefully making sure that there was no others around. She getting close to the edge of the forest, but this was where the best grass was to graze on. She stopped a big enough patch of grass for herself and bent her neck down towards the thick lush grass that now surrounded her hooves. Sun peeked down through the leafs above her shining down on her gray colored coat. It was a peaceful day. The sun was up and bright and the sky was a brilliant bright blue making Jay feel a bit more cheerfull and she usually did out in the woods. She even had a small smile on her face as she nibbled lightly on the grass. It was great to be able to do what she wanted and go where she wanted. If she was in a herd she would probabily not be able to do half the things she liked to do.

Eiyota

The young stallion threw his head and snorted loudly as a fly landed on his nose and tickled him, he held his head high and looked around the plains to the left of him, it was quiet and calm, a bit boring but nothing dangerous was happening thankfully. Eiyota threw hi head again, and flicked his ears as he heard a slight rustle most likely the wind but even so, Eiyota pawed at the ground subtly to see if anything would respond. Apart of his wished it was nothing, no predator or band stallion looking for a fight, but another part wanted it to be a mare, hopefully a fast one, he itched to go exploring and it was better to go with someone else. There hadn't been many people he's been able to do that with since he left his parent nearly 2 years ago, he's been pretty independent since then, he did hang around with a group of bachelors for a few months last year, they taught him a few things though they weren't prepared to stay and share with the others for long.

Jay lifted her head up from the frowned her ears perked forwards and as she held her head high looking over in the direction she had heard a glove digging down into the soft ground. She toke a few steps towards the edge of the small clearing corpus to know if what she had herd was just another mare. Or if it had been a stallion. She stretched her neck to look around the trees that blocked her view from the calm meadow in the distance. Her dark gaze apart over the edge of the woods and soon landed on a young stallion looking in her direction. She took a few silent steps backwards hoping that he might not have seen her to she could get away but know it was not likely. If he had seen her it would have been before she spotted him. Her hooves landed softly on the hard as she back away, but after only a few steps back her voice landed on a weak twig and snapped it into. It echoed around the silent woods surrounding her and she new the that stallion would know where she was if he had seen her in or not.
