n a m e :: Nereid {Nehr-ADE}
g e n d e r :: Snorts in resentment, "Mare you fools."
a g e :: 4 years and 6 months
h e r d :: Loner, you must capture her

p h y s i c a l d e s c r i p t i o n :: Nereid is very thin, and has quite the small frame. Her build is of pure Arabian, thick boned, yet dainty and graceful. She has a very feminine mare-ish look to her which captures the beauty of a female. Her coat is a champagney red roan, very thin and silk like to the touch. She bares three white socks that fade just beneath her knees and the fourth stops midway up her canon. A thin white stripe trails from her crest to her upper lip and shows up a bit on her bottom. She does have the marks of the wild, a subtle scar here or there, but on her right shoulder to about half way down her foreleg she has an almost healed scar from her past. She prefers to keep out of physical danger however. The girl stands at a long legged 15.3hh with a light weight of about 1,000 lbs. She is much lighter than the average, but don't let the size of her fool you...she is quite strong thanks to her Arab blood.
p e r s o n a l i t y :: This fragile seeming little mare may not be physically up to par, yet her bark is much worse than her bite. She has a strong will that is as stubborn as the sun going down in the summer. Ner does somewhat live up to the hot headedness of her breed's stereotype, though it will only come out if provoked. The mare is usually quite level headed and relaxed, but it doesn't normally take much to ruffle her feathers. Be sure to watch yourself if you dare cross her path in any aggressive nature.
She is quite outgoing, a bit sweet as well, but has an emotional wall put up due to years of abuse in her birth herd. Nereid doesn't mean to come off...rather...unfriendly or unwelcoming, but it is programmed in her brain and she means well.
h i s t o r y :: Nereid is a broken little filly inside. Her birth herd was a cruel one, and cruel wouldn't do the herd justice. She lived every waking, or asleep for that matter, in fear. Ner's mother wasn't ever there for her because she was the stallion's main pick for foal barer, so she was too busy raising a new little being ever year. She, along with every other female in the herd, was treated with disrespect and cruelty.
Her past is behind her now, and she pushes it to the back of her mind, yet still experiences slight recurrences of images.
