FireThicket
Deputy || Tom || 72 moons
@Everyone;;
Firethicket's thick fur ruffled gently in leaf fall's gentle breeze, things had been quiet in Rainclan for a while now. No rouge attacks to report, no badgers, no cougars, no true threats to the clan. Life was almost painfully dull, but sometimes painfully dull was better than thrilling. As a deputy his job was to keep order and when things got thrilling tempers flared and cats became wildly unpredictable. When times like that happened Firethicket was not known for his gentle nature, sure he was wise and a good leader but when the situation called for it he could be cold and rule with an iron paw... not right now though. Right now it was calm and he was more than happy to enjoy his lounging time. He rest his great white maw on his broad paws as his tail swept the ground behind him gently. The sounds of birds twittered in the trees and Firethicket's short almost rounded triangular ears twitched to pinpoint their location, it was instinct, nothing more and the tom made no movement towards getting up and tracking down the potential prey. Other cats could handle the food situation for now. With leaf bear coming the food was getting scarcer but it was not yet at a point that everyone needed to be driven to panic and driven to hunt twice as much as they normally would. When the snow began to fall, that was when Firethicket's job truly began... for now he enjoyed the last remaining days of warm sun on his back before the long dark haul of leaf bare gripped their lands.
LoonSong
Warrior || She-cat || 36 moons
@Everyone;;
Beneath the deep shade of the old oak trees of the forest lay a slender sleek shape cloaked in a coat of dark satin. Not a hair out of line and not a piece of evidence even suggested that this figure was alive at first glance. If some brave soul was willing to risk an ear-boxing for staring a moment longer they would see the gentle rise and fall of the figure's silky flanks and amber eyes glinting back at them from the shadows. No question Loonsong was a beautiful cat, a cat some toms would do just about anything to have... that was until she opened her mouth. Loonsong was silver tongued alright, sly and sassy to the very core. She wasn't really mean, just sarcastic and a little bit brass. She enjoyed toying with others in her spare time, but none could deny that she was good at what she did. Loyal and quick-witted Loonsong was among some of the very best fighters and hunters that the clan had ever seen, despite her youthful age and sassy personality. Deep down she was a good cat, just getting there, that was the hard part... but that's half the fun isn't it?
SandStripe
Warrior || Tom || 36 moons
@Everyone;;
Sandstripe walked back into camp, a greyish brown squirrel hung from his maw and he placed the furry thing motionlessly onto the freshkill pile in the middle of camp. The pile had been lower and lower every day and soon it would be dwindling to nothing, perhaps it was time to move on. Perhaps it was time to stop enjoying the weather, no matter how nice it felt, and get to work. The clan needed to fatten up before leaf bare came! His sister was small and he worried about her, but it wasn't just her. Loonsong was a small cat too, skinny all year round. Of course Sandstripe would never show his concern about her to her face since last time he did that she hissed at him telling him to mind his own business... of course he didn't learn his lesson there. The gentle sand-colored tabby once tried to help the black she-cat when she was sick with green cough but it just got him a noticeable nick in his ear... she was tougher than she looked but none the less he thought she could use a little weight... just for winter... Maybe he should say something to her? He decided against it. Maybe he'd just talk to the leader later, he'd talk to the deputy now since he was available but sometimes Firethicket was just as disagreeable as Loonsong...
LarkPaw
Warrior Apprentice || She-cat || 10 moons
@Everyone;;
Larkpaw's hazel eyes were locked onto a falling leaf as it drifted slowly to the ground, she watched it and dropped into her almost hunter's crouch. She wasn't the best of all the apprentices, at least not yet, but no one was perfect and no one could even expect to be good if they didn't practice. The little calico she-cat's mind's eye began to transform the dancing leaf into a fluttering bird, darting this way and that in the fall breeze. Nothing could escape her sight! she was sure of it, she would take down that leaf... er... bird... if it was the last thing she ever did! She leapt into the air, striking the leaf like a pro and landing perfectly in the center of it pinning it beneath her paws. She was proud of herself. She almost wished her mentor would have witnessed it but if he had no doubt he would have made her correct her possitions, focus more, do this, do that... not to mention he would have made a point of pointing out that the leaf wasn't actually a bird and birds were harder to catch. It wasn't that Larkpaw didn't like Flamefur, she did, but all grown ups could be a stick in the mud sometimes. Sometimes an apprentice just needed to be an apprentice... even if that meant playing alone since everyone else your age thought you were immature.
