I snort and step away from Rio, thinking that he wouldn't be so much fun to be alone with. Then, I think about Jack, and I know the other stallion might be some fun.

I toss my head and dance a few steps back as he withdraws. He's grooming himself now. I rumble and snort, wondering how he can be nonchalant now. To break the ice that so clearly coats us, I groom him as well, ears laid in a relaxing manner.
My flank twitches again and I'm glad no one is around for now. Perhaps our beautiful meadow could be a permanent home.

rio grande is a wild soul. she can't be tamed, snaked or herded without a fight. she only obeys a mysterious few who seem to captivate her. but those few aren't based on height, or pelt or strength. she can't choose them that way. she is blind and holding on to life by a thread. rio won't survive long, it's inevitable she will die. but, in spite of it, she continues to make decisions that put her it jeopardy. rio is like a seer of sorts. she has great vision and can find what is in a horses heart without seeing.
because she is blind, the horses with quality and values would not pity her and stand afar, or treat her as a lesser being. they would help and support. not every horse can love up to her expectations, but when they do, she is a life partner.

rio was born in a cold mountainside region with a small herd consisting of her band stallion, his lead mare, and three others, of whom the shunned and beaten one was her mother. her mother was maltreated because of her defects. she was cremello, and the horses saw it as a deformity. she was also Marwari, and her odd ears and build we're laughable at best. rio was born in a snowstorm, and when chunks of ice and snow pelted down from the sky and hit her still fragile young head, she went blind.
her mother was chased out of the herd with rio, because the stallion thought her foal had carried defects as well. he did not know that rio took completely after him. but her blindness from birth had fooled him. so she traveled with her mom until thy were separated by a stallion when she was two.

Thunder shook out his mane and shifted slightly as he looked around, his ears swiveling as he listened to their surroundings. Things have gone rather well for him, and he was currently content. He could see a few horses in the distance, but he didn't see them as a threat so he didn't worry about them. When Sail began to groom him he did the same, gently grooming the mare's withers.

p h y s i c a l d e s c r i p t i o n :: Blue is a strong legged young mare. She weighs a total of 1, 150 lbs, but is lean and quick on her feet. She is faster than she is strong, andcan out run most of thoughs that are bigger then her. Her thin coat is a light gray with dark stormy gray area's that have the same light gray spots skattered across them. These gray areas can sometimes seem a bit of a blueish color. Her face is gray, but almost white and it fades daker down her snout. Her plae colored face makes the dark part of her that covers her eyes stand out. Her tail goes done to just below her knees, and her mane is quite short. Both her mane and tail her a mixture of dark gray and cramelish brown. Jay's eyes are a very bark autumn brown color that is almost completely black. She is not very tall, but you wouldn't consider her small either. She stands at about 15 hands tall.

p e r s o n a l i t y :: Blue is clever and fun loving. She is able to quickly think of a solution to tough problems as long as she is not under pressure. She loves to have fun and mess with other and can be a troublemaker some times. She enjoys being sarcastic and messing with others. Jay also likes to cheer others up whenever their not feeling to good about something. She will be in a bad mood eveey once in a while though, and you better not bother her when she's angry, no matter what the reason is. But when she's sad it a bit different. If Blue is ever upset about something, sometimes she just needs someone to cheer her up like she does for others. Though she can be quite sweet Jay can also be a little stubborn. She hates being bothered when she is alone and wants to be, and will most likely get quite angry. Blue can be a bit flirty when she wants to be as well especially when she's in a good mood and comes across a stallion.

h i s t o r y :: Jay was born a loner. Her mother had left her herd when she was able to and became a loner before having Blue. So the young mare never new her father. But it has never bothered her that much. She and her mother lived togther before being separated from her at a young age. She knew after being seprated from her mother she would need to learn to fend for her self and soon did. She grew strong and confident. She found a safe place for herself in the woods that had food and a near by steam. She hides in the woods away from others, but she still some times will see others out in the woods. Jay doesn't really like living by herself out in the small woods, but the idea of living in a herd makes her a bit nervous. She sometimes wonders if there was a reason her mother left her herd. Are they bad to live in, or was it just the herd she was in. Are the questions that come to mind.

Igreiga is a bit of a hot-headed mare,she tends to be aggressive to anything that nears her.She isn't the type of mare that will get away so easily because of course,she is stubborn.She defiantly picks up a quite impressive fight when being snaked by a mighty steed,rarely she may sometimes escape.She dislikes many things such as snakes,badgers,or fireworks set off by "two-legged faced animals" or in other words in her vocabulary "monster".As you can see she isn't a friendly horse,but is defiantly suitable for a high ranks within a herd.She may be strict and demanding at times,but that's good indeed.she usually takes control of bad situations and quickly resolves it,a sign that she cares quite a bit.She dose,but keep it a secret so I don't get kicked in the behind.Has a bit of a soft spot for colt's and filly's,she once 'had' a brother but something offley terrible happened to him.Her history reflects onto her personality a great deal,so don't judge.She is also a quite curious gal meaning she might often adventure to a stallion's territory or maybe into the no man's land.I suggest you just stay as far as possible away from her because she is quite calm when other's are not near,she's the the sociably confident type.Oh plus,if you speak about something personal behind her back she will snap at you like a cobra and trust me;she will not show mercy,also she is defiantly clever indeed.

Igreiga was once owned by a man named Billy bob Oneness.He was a quite strict and insolent man that was quite insane,and defiantly had no soul what so ever.He owned many animals such as pigs,mini bitty pigs,hens,foxes, pretty much any animal you can think of.But he defiantly favored his most biggest and strongest animal within his home,witch was Igreiga.But just a reminder,he didn't let go of his personality;that rotten old man kept it safe and sound.If Igreiga ever done something wrong he would take a grip of his whip and then throw it at her,slashing scars onto her beautiful grulla dun colored coat.One day she couldn't take it anymore and snapped as white flooded her eyes,whipping her head around like a lasso before she clashed her misty black hooves at one of his arms;before she began to gallop towards the fence she then lunges over it soon to escape the terrible abusive place.But soon,she was then captured once again.She did picked up a fight with these "monsters" but she began to soon decrease in energy soon to struggle tumbling quite a bit,and soon enough she then gave up.She was then dragged to a slaughter house,where of course sometimes old retired horses go or aggressive ones like herself;but we all know why she's like this.But once again she picked up a fight,soon to escape;she wanted to see the world instead of being imprisoned before well you know.When arriving in a land sweet as honey,she felt down and depressed;instead of being excited and filled of joy from escaping that land.At her time at the slaughter house,her younger brother was their;and of course the 'monsters' done the unthinkable to a poor colt that was soon to become a stallion.From this day on Igreige lives in the mountains,alone and depressed;without know one to share her pain with.Will someone soon take her in and make her live within their herd?

Igreiga has a dun grulla colored pelt that has a few scars from her ankles to shoulders,plus her her rump as well;but you could actually hardly seem them.Her hooves are a misty black color and a bit chipped,they are quite dirty as well;they are clamped up with dry mud,crumbled leafs and dirt of course.She dose have these quite beautiful fudge brownie eyes with these long luscious eyelashes.Her muzzle is a peachy pink color witch looks like paint that was spilled and has quite large nostrils like a mighty steed,that flare.She is quite ripped and by meaning ripped,muscular.She's about 16.4 hands,meaning she ain't a small li gal;pretty much not a pony.She has a fluffy bright white vanilla like star that is placed between her eyes while her ears are always perked to the ocean blue sky.She has a silky smooth charcoal mane and tail witch are quite short,and a stripe that runs from her forehead to her rump.Last, is that she has a oak like brown majestic tiger like stripes on her legs.
