Essence heard the small conversation and answered the mare for him, nuzzling her comfortably. "No dear... It's just... I don't know what's wrong with her. But it's none of your fault. We just don't like each other... Honestly." The mare chuckled lightly, trying to push the mare out of her worried behavior, before turning her attention to the colt who had pushed his way past his mother, squealing lightly as he greeted the unfamiliar mare.

snow nodded "ok, i was just nervous that i did something wrong" she smiled and began grazing

The mare laughed lightly and joked, "how is that possible dear? When she doesn't even know your name?" She grinned and grazed contently beside her. Looking occasionally at tribute as she smiled softly. She couldn't ask for a better life.

The dark bay thoroughbred brushed her muzzle gently against Hidalgo as he passed by her, leaving her with the other mares. Her ears strained as she heard the gentle clip-clop of hooves echoing quietly off the tunnel walls. Bobbing her head gently, Diamond stepped forwards to follow after them, but spooked when a palomino mare came in through a blind spot. She did a perfect side-step and flared her nostrils, exhaling through her lips gently to make a vibration sound. Once she noticed the familiar scent of Hidalgo on her, she calmed. "Hello May. I am Diamond." She nickered gently, lipping at the other mare's mane. Swishing her tail, she caught the tangy scent of her heat, and clamped her tail down.

The pale Lusitano mare lifted her gaze, wondering who to greet. Her ears flicked gently as her eyes wandered to two foals, a filly and a colt. A gurgling sound came from under her belly, and she craned her neck, worried one of her juveniles was choking. Instead, she relaxed to see Thunder playing with his milk and letting it dribble off his chin. He have a sky smile up at Vibe. Carefully, she sidestepped perfectly over him, turning her head around to nose him gently. He used his tongue to regain the milk he had been playing with, and burst out into giggles, even snorting a few times in the process. Smiling gently, she nuzzled her colt, before turning her attention to Storm. The little filly bounced and bucked happily, giggling and squealing. One ear on Vibe's head angled towards her colt and the other towards her bay filly. Storm had closed her eyes, and ended up ramming into a white mare's back legs. Squealing, she tumbled over backwards onto her rump. Snorting, Vibe began a slow walk towards Rio and her filly, Thunder bouncing behind her.

Silently, the tricolor end paint mare followed her name completely by the instinct. Flaring her pink nostrils, her visuals searched the land for a small source of companionship. Just a mare would be nice. Or a herd. Or a bachelor. Anything that could give her company and shatter the dark cloud that clotted above her head, full of negative thoughts and feelings. Bobbing her head, the sleek mare shifted her gaits into a high kneed trot, throwing her hooves out in front of herself, prancing. She had remembered doing this around the arena a year ago when she had won first place. Nothing could stop her from being happy then. Mac wavered her gentle gaze towards a bridle and white figure located on the perimeter near her. She also saw another mare, and two small bodies. Happily, she whinnied gently towards then, hoping to catch the stallions attention.

Victorious Tribute

As Tribute ate quietly, one of Vibe's foals crashed into Rio's back legs. Quickly touching his nose to her withers to calm Rio so she wouldn't buck in surprise. He saw Vibe walking over and nodded happily, glad that she was getting to know the others. He was momentarily distracted by Essence's waking and Snow's question, looking towards Snow. Essence gave her version of the thing, and Tribute gave a soft snort, chiding her. He'd caught a bit of a bias in her reply, but said nothing more. "Currently she has her rump facing us because she simply wishes to make her statement that she does not care for Essence's foal." He said with a soft sigh, before looking at Vicky, whom was looking at the group. Seeing Vicky, he gave her a gentle grin, flicking his tail slightly. He smiled as Essence consoled Snow though, approving. She was young, but she had what he was looking for in a lead.

Essence tried refraining herself from saying more, as tribute chided her, she bend her ears apologetically and walked away. Not that she was upset, she just felt as if she should move away for a little bit. As the mare whisked her tail, her petite colt pranced after her with obedience, before settling down to graze, her colt keeping by her side.

Missy lips her fillies mane gently to comfort her as the foal wanted to seethe colt but she refused to let her.

I give Acapella and Warrior a nuzzle, before looking at Wind, who gives me a quizzical glance and resumes chewing my ear. I chuckle and let her continue, smiling at Acapella. "It's perfect! Two amazing fillies!" I pull my ear from Wind and straighten up. "We should rejoin the herd." I help Wind to her trembling hooves, before tucking my head under Acapella's.

I lift my head, seeing a mare through the gloom. I give her a nicker, but since I'm dealing with my mare and her twins, its difficult to give the loner my full attention.

I feel a foal hit me. But, I had no way of knowing it was a foal. I spook a little, half rearing till Tribute touches me. I relax and trot away from the conversing group, tripping a little before settling to graze. Night is falling fast, and I drift off, standing in a relaxed position.
