I rift off in thought wondering how the stallions had made out. I know Thunderstorm was successful, I say it myself. But Hidalgo may not have been, and the young bachelor's pride was too hurt to come back.
I know Tomorrow and Riddle have been well. All that's left is Rio.

I follow Acapella quickly, long body twisting around the trees. My long ears and muzzle are held high and proud. I have a mare! It's a big step. As we get out of the sufocating trees I spot Athena and nicker to her. I'm about to go over when I turn to Acapella. "Is it okay if I...?" I gesture to Athena.stallion

As the mare teased him, Tribute smiled slightly. Anything that was not an angry or a flighty response was all a success in his mind, after all. Giving the mare a nod, he grinned. "But it is only through talking to strangers that you make friends, no?" He replied wittily, flicking his tail with hope. Could he maybe be so lucky? But now wasn't the time to get in over his head.
Looking back, he saw Fall seemed happy with this new mare, or not outrght mean or anything, so he let himself hope. Even further back, he saw Apocalypse staring at him with a look of... Sadness? He didn't know, but he knew he would miss the stallion. He solemnly gave the older stallion a farewell bow, before giving the stallion a grin, nuzzling Fall, and looking at Missy. "Well, Missy, are you looking for a herd?" He asked, then cringed. For all the wit he sometimes came up with, most of the times he was plainfully blunt, as charming and witty didn't usually come to him. Of course, sometimes it did, but most of the times it was like a spark, there one moment, gone the next. He had learned to make do though, so hopefully this mare would be okay with his inherent bluntness.
