this roleplay is literate, post amt least three+ sentences and no less. I understand that sometimes you can get writers block. writers block is allowed once every two pages per person, or else you will get a warning.

please be nice when roleplaying. no cussing, and if so please limit. I cannot stress how important the issue of bullying is. if you bully in this roleplay, you will be banned. I don't give warnings for bullying.
bullying can extend from calling people names to even constantly attacking (farming) another persons character. you may believe it is harmless, but just think how frustrated the recipient of your attacks must be. allow people to roleplay in peace, please.

when speaking in OOC, or, out of character; please use <{([*~|these|~*])}>. it is very important you do so. also, when roleplaying or in OOC, please DO NOT use text talk! some people cannot understand it and it isn't literate.

the issue of drama level is a tough one. it is greatly encouraged, but can be used wrong. for example, your character cannot be getting all the attention. if your character just escaped humans after being caught, he/she cannot be attacked by a cougar. right? just limit it to realism. when we have big plots or polls to decide what the all user plot will be, you may vote to decide.

try to stay active. I accept no less than seven posts per week. this is mandatory. if you skip a week of roleplaying without giving a reason, your characters, no matter their progress, will be removed or put up for adoption.

please do not power play or god mode. this is unfair to other players and will limit the amount of fun they have. power playing in a horse rp is found in a number of scenarios. for example; when a stallion is snaking a mare and she either is not moving, heavily resisting(ie. stops running to bite, kick, yell at, other), or, once in his herd is mean or depressed for too long. power playing can even be in an instance where one character is trying to be sneaky, deceptive or attempting to "fool" the other. the other must fall for it at least one out of three times. people are gullible too. power playing occurs in psychological moments and dialogue.
god-modding happens mainly in physical bouts. to god-mode is to suggest that your character has no limits. examples are when a user has their character, run for hours or fight too much and/or never loose a fight.
a popular example of god-modding occurs when there is a plot twist like "forest fire," "wranglers" or even predators. when a horse is caught or a friend of a horse is caught, no horse will rush to the rescue or attack the wrangler. horses are flight animals, they will try to run. too much aggression is god-modding.

if you have a band stallion with a herd of one or more mares, you may not have your own mares in said herd. this is unfair and takes away the prospect of "gaining, snaking or seducing a mare". if your stallion covers a mare, and she gives birth, but allows you to rp the foal, please, as the rper under normal circumstances would, be a problem causer as well. you cannot be a goody two shoes in your own herd.
this falls under the rule; no Mary/Gary-sues.

I do not have a form for you to fill out, I'd prefer you provide your own. it helps give your form a little more space to follow your characters personality. I would prefer if the form was attractive, so, if you are unable, PM me and I can make one for you! you may also ask others. please have your form include name, gender, history, personality, breed(keep to the list) and picture or description.

//is a very alert and bold stallion. quite mean and cruel to mares and stallions alike. he likes strong healthy foals carrying his temperament. hidalgo wants a large herd and many mares and sub stallions. he wishes to become very successful. //

//was born at a stud farm before escaping. he was caught again and sold, then shipped to England. he was trained there to be a jumping horse, as he had fine blood in his veins. hidalgo was given his name by a stable hand who could never calm him down. hidalgo never listened to his trainers or riders while practicing, but in the ring was amazing. his owners were very surprised he could perform well in the arena and sold him back to Australia for a large fee. there, at the age of 5, he was given a year to start a stud career. he carried on his unique coat and strange temperament to his foals.
later, when he was 6, his stud career ended due to there being colour restriction. his offspring couldn't enter competitions other than halter class with the coat colour they had. hidalgo was discarded, shipped to a horse retirement facility. but, since he was so young, he would not die for a while. so he was brought to the United States and set loose, hoping he would repopulate and pass on his unique colour to the horses living wild.

sail was born in a herd that was falling apart, she was an attempt by the lead mare and elderly stallion to salvage it. but, though the mares doted on her, they lost interest and willingly were snaked or wandered off. after lightning struck her mother, the elderly stallion watched over her but obviously couldn't feed her. she was weaned faster than normal and lived with her father until he died of old age when she was 1 1/2. she wandered away from his body soon after it happened, not being much for long goodbyes or sentiment. she has been wandering ever since.

The Hidalgo Plot
Hidalgo, my stallion, becomes very evil and eager for mares. he begins to snake with vigour. mares and foals alike. eventually, he has the largest herd, and the other stallions are left with nothing. Eventually, the other stallions meet up and make a plan. They attack Hidalgo all at once and leave him dead, taking his willing mares and foals who have been abused and controlled by him very cruelly. The mares go eagerly and join a new stallion to love happily.
