learn his story... xxxx It was a very cold, and harsh leafbare that year, prey was extremely scares and cats feared for his mother, Drizzlepelt's life. They had fed her as much as possible without starving the rest of the clans, but the night she gave birth to her very first litter, the worst blizzard in many, many seasons had stricken the weak clan, and almost every cat believed that surely Drizzlepelt would die as well as the other kits she carried inside her, but StarClan was on our side. It had only taken multiple scarce hours before three kits were born; two toms and a she-cat.
No cat had a clue about who the father was, but Drizzlepelt had named her kits anyway, the largest tom was a solid grey with darker grey flecks tom, which she names Ashkit, in hopes of him one day gaining the name Ashfleck. The she-cat was a beautiful snow-white with only a few brown tabby patches on her head and a solid brown tabby tail; which she had named Frecklekit. The last was the runt of the litter; a splattered brown and ginger tortoiseshell tabby tom, whom she had named Hawkkit, yes the Hawkkit , whom is now known as our great Hawkeye.
xxxx Little to any cat's thought Drizzlepelt was having a forbbiden relationship with a tom cat outside of her clan, whom was known as Poppyfoot. Poppyfoot had demanded that Drizzlepelt give their three kits to his clan by the second night, when the moon was high in the sky. Needless to say Drizzlepelt caved. Two nights after her previous meeting with Poppyfoot she gathered her three kits; Ashkit, Frecklekit and Hawkkit, and ventured out into the frozen forest. It had been a tremendiously long walk for the three kits and Ashkit was capable of convincing Drizzlepelt to let them stop somewhere to warm up and get some rest. The beautiful she-cat had dug a snow den next to a tree and had curled around her three kits to keep them warm. The four had nodded off, but what seemed like ten minutes, which was really two hours, Drizzlepelt woke woth a jolt, realizing Poppyfoot would probably be irritated with her for being late. Nudging the kits to wake them up Frecklekit woke up with ease, being have squashed inbetween her mother and Hawkkit, next Hawkkit woke up, but was suddenly aware of the lack of warmth from Ashkit. Glancing up at Drizzlepelt, he had noticed that the she-cat's eyes were full of worry and dispare. Ashkit would not move, and his body became slowly cold. Seeing frizen tears well up in Drizzlepelt's eyes Hawkkit didn't understand what was going on, but his mother had picked him and Frecklekit up and burried Ashkit. Hawkkit screeched a protest, but the she-cat wasn't listening, she was drowned in grief.
When the three had made it to the border after yet the completion of their long journey Poppyfoot stood on the other side, looking irritated. The tom had demanded to know where the third kit was, but the hardness in his eyes vanished at Drizzlepelt's news of the dead kit, when the she-cat blamed the death of her kit on Poppyfoot, claiming him to be self-centered and heartless and to just leave. The tom cat had scooped up Frecklekit in his jaws and bent his muzzle down to prop Hawkkit on his neck, but Hawkkit wasn't intending on leaving his mother, or the place where his brother died and was now burried. Unsheathing his tiny claws he lashed at the larger cat, his tiny, fragile claws connecting to flesh and tearing it, just barely able to draw blood. A screech of pain errupted from the tom and with that Drizzlepelt had smiled at the kit she believed would be the one to die, but instead lived and had stood up to his father. Scooping up the tom kit she dashed away, back to camp, already foiling up a plot to tell the clan, deciding to make it seem like the kits had wandered off, and were unevitably never found.
Hawkkit grew up missing his sister and deceased brother, but never spoke of the truth of that night, to any cat. All through his kithood he obeyed his mother and the rest of his clanmates, proving that he wasn't weak and would make a great warrior someday. By six moons old Hawkkit was granted the name Hawkpaw, recieving Ravenwood as his mentor, this had annoyed Hawkpaw because the tom cat he was assigned to as his mentor had always looked down at him as if he was nothing more than the dirt underneath his paws, but this had only pushed Hawkpaw to do more, to prove to his mentor that he wasn't useless and that he could make yet a great warrior. Even though Hawkpaw had pushed for extra training from his mentor, he kept a close relationship with his mother, and by the time he was made an apprentice there was already another kit in the nursery, who was only three moons younger than the tom, the kit was a beautiful golden she-kit, named Goldenkit. Once Goldenkit had been made an apprentice and given Drizzlepelt as her mentor the two cats became even closer than they were before in the nursery, seeing as training time seemed to be training and time with his mother, as well as Goldenpaw, any free time he had he spent with Goldenpaw. It was clear to the entire clan that Goldenpaw and Hawkpaw were inseperable, and that surely they would become mates after recieving their warrior names, and sure enough it came true. Hawkpaw had recieved his warrior name a moon earlier than he was suppose to, due to the fact that he had risked his life to luer a curious fox away from the camp, of course afterwards he had heard an earfull from the worried Goldenpaw. Four slow moons Hawkeye had been impatient about Gingerpaw becoming a warrior, since the two weren't able to see eachother as much while she was training and he was out on regular patrols, and when four moons had finally passed Gingerpaw had recieved her name of Gingerleap.
The two cats had spent many moons together, unofficially being mates, as Hawkeye or Gingerleap hadn't asked the other yet, but when the two had been alone for quite sometime Hawkeye had asked Gingerleap to be his mate. There was no doubt about it that Hawkeye had loved Gingerleap, and that she had felt the same. Naturally she had accepted and in three short moons Gingerleap had given the announcement of expecting Hawkeye's kits. Drizzlepelt had been nothing but proud of her son, and offered to take care of her son's mate while he was out on patrols.
It wasn't long before the night of the arrival; three kits had been born, a she-cat and two toms, just like what his mother had bared. A strange feeling welled up in a knot inside Hawkeye's stomach, but he had ignored it and celebrated with his mother, mate and clan the birth of the three kits.
They had decided to name the two toms Nutkit and Pantherkt, and the she-kit Dawnkit.
Six moons after the kits were born, they were strong and healthy and were about to be given their apprentice names and their mentors, so Hawkeye went out to catch a delicious selection of prey for each of them to celebrate, but Hawkeye's hunt was cut off short when he had heard terrified cries in the distance, which had come from the direction of camp. Fear had set into Hawkeye's stomach and he raced towards the camp, his nostroles flared as they were smothered in the strong scent of a fox. Instinctly he had jumped to the course of action, capturing the fox's attention before luering the fox out and away from camp, returning with a limp in his hind leg, a scratch across his flank and a nick in his ear he watched his clanmates as they all looked at him, grief stricken and sorrow filled their eyes. After asking what had happened and whats wrong, eventually demanding to know what had happened, he was lead to the nursery, where Gingerleap, Nutkit, Pantherkit, Dawnkit and Drizzlepelt all huddled together at the back of the nursery, slaughtered and reaking of fox. The tom screeched in agony at the death of his loved one, his kits as well as his mother, and the clan had allowed the tom to take time to morne for the loss.
Over time Hawkeye's personality had changed; he had become less social, strict, stubborn, blunt and even mor courageous than before, and it wasn't long before he had been named deputy. Hawkeye accepted the offer, and now is helpping his clan, and dealing with the loss of his entire family, not claiming his father, Poppyfoot, or his sister, Frecklekit, who is now Frecklefoot, as family.
xxxx Hawkeye hasn't always been a cold, strict, stubborn, blunt and antisocial, he use to be the cat you'd see going around trying to prove himself worthy of being even in the clan, he use to be a loveing cat and a tom that would socialize with just about any cat in his clan, and even few outside of his clan, but something about the death of his mate, kits and mother all at one time had hardned the tom, changed him, making it nearly impossible for one to get close to him.
xxxx Since the death Hawkeye is not afraid to put a cat in their place when they step out of line, he is so very hard to convince or have change his mind once it's made up, it's nearly impossible, if not at times completely impossible to do so. Indeed at one time Hawkeye was charming, sweet and loving, and he would make even the worst of insults into a compliment, but now, if it's ment to be an insult, he won't rearange how you'd say something to make one feel better, if anything this tom would be called heartless by many now, and will speak with practically no emotion, making it difficult to determine his indecisive mood.character © me

The tom cat had scooped up Shrewkit in his jaws and bent his muzzle down to prop Hawkkit on his neck, but Hawkkit wasn't intending on leaving his mother, or the place where his brother died and was now burried. Unsheathing his tiny claws he lashed at the larger cat, his tiny, fragile claws connecting to flesh and tearing it, just barely able to draw blood. Shrewkit gasped at her little brother's actions towards who she had just found out was her as well as Hawkkit and their dead brother, Ashkit's father. The young kit was able to see the smile on Drizzlepelt's face before she had scooped up Hawkkit and disappeared from her sight. Screeching out Shrewkit called for her mother to come back, and began to cry, which only caused her to shiver. Poppyfoot had set Shrewkt down and calmed her down, filling her mind with the idea that her mother wanted to get rid of her, and that she intended for Ashkit to die, and being the young kit she was, she believed them, and grew a strong hate for her mother.
Shrewkit was openly welcomed into the clan and was eventually given to a she-cat, named Brambleberry, being raised with Brambleberry's son, Falconkit.
She grew up, convincing herself that Brambleberry was her mother and Falconkit was her brother, and they treated her like she was actually their daughter and sister.
By six moons Shrewkit and Falconkit had become apprentices, Shrewpaw had gotten Yellowclaw as her mentor, and Yellowclaw was a very sweet, and easy going she-cat, but made sure to give Shrewpaw her proper training. Shrewpaw's training was quite average, besides she grew a knack for hunting and being able to catch a shrew as if they beg her to kill them.
Six moons later Shrewpaw had gained her warrior name, Shrewtooth, along with her adopted brother, Falconpaw, who became Falconscreech. Shrewtooth had at times seen her real brother, Hawkeye, at gatherings, but he had refused to speak to her, and she avoided her real mother, Drizzlepelt, as she still believed the lies her father told her to be true.
Shrewtooth's life wasn't just easy-going after settling down with her father in his clan, no. One day while Shrewtooth was out hunting with Falconscreech, a badger had lumbered in their direction, and made no hesitation to charge the two once it had caught onto their scent. Before Shrewtooth could react Falconscreech shoved Shrewtooth out of the way, lashing out at her whenever she tried to step in, and eventually told her to run back to camp to get help. Obeying his orders she sprinted as fast a her legs could carry her to camp, screeching the news about the badger and about the need for help. A group of cats, including Brambleberry and Poppyfoot, had joined in the fight against the badger, but right as Shrewtooth arrived to the scene of the badger, she had witnessed Falconscreech's last actions, as he lept at the large creature, which had met the tom in the air with a large paw, sending the warrior flying into a tree. A sickning crunch caused Shrewtooth to flinch, while the others paid no attention to the injured tom, and instead focused on attacking the badger.
Rushing over to her adoptive brother, she nudged him, only to find the same fate she had seen happen to her real brother, Ashkit, a moon after they were born, dead.
Brambleberry had morned as much as Shrewtooth at Falconscreech's death, and it didn't take much longer before depression and starvation had too taken Brambleberry. Shrewtooth pushed herself to go on without her adoptive mother and brother, but a few moons later she had lost her father as well, losing him to green cough. She had no love-interests and no family living in her clan, and she did not know if her real mother, Drizzlepelt, was still alive or not.
xxxx
Shrewtooth is a sweet, kind and a thoughtful she-cat, always putting other cats above her. Brambleberry, Falconscreech and Poppyfoot's deaths did not tamper too much with the she-cat's character, as she held her head high as she was in public, but silently mornes as she is alone.
xxxx Shrewtooth is a sweet cat, no doubt about it, but many could easily mistaken her kindness for weakness, although it is far from being true, this beautiful feline will stand up for herself, but only if it is a dire need, which seems to make some cats think she should just leave the clan and join the soft life of a kittypet, but everyone knows she is too loyal to her clan to abandon it.character © me
