A crying kit squealed a tucked into the elder's scratchy pelt. "Your fine, kit. Rest," rasped the elder. "Now. Shall we begin? Once upon a time, before any other clans, there were three. The three were TigerClan, LionClan, and LeopardClan. TigerClan was known for their bravery, LionClan for their sneakiness, an LeopardClan for their honesty. One day, at a gathering, Tigerstar, leader of TigerClan, made a speech. He said,'I, Tigerstar, demand that a clan will be announced the leading clan.' Lion- and Leopardstar were astonished. Leopardstar was the first to speak up. 'Tigerstar, this is isn't safe for all clans. If you're suggesting that another clan besides StarClan controls the forest..' Legend has it that the exact time he trailed off, he died later on. Tigerstar interrupted. 'Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. If we do this, my clan could watch over the others, catch prey for you, and tend to your needs.' The other two leaders were thinking, long and hard, until Lionstar screeched,'Yes!' And padded off in the darkness." By now, the kit was curled up in a ball, as if afraid that Tigerstar would come back. "Story had that thunder roared, and the Gathering ended. The clans headed home, the two leaders unknown to what they'd done. Tigerstar became brutal and powerful not even a moon after. Clans were starving, elders and kits were dying, and warriors were scarring. Later they broke free, tagged by helping medicine cats and senior warriors and young kits. The remaining cats mated, and had a whole new generation of warriors."
ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan were the remaining cats' clans. Rivalry spread- but nothing like Tigerstar's promise. Later, the leaders' sons and daughters became the leaders of the new and evolved clans- CloudClan, evolved from WindClan, ShadeClan, evolved from ShadowClan, SapClan, from RiverClan, and WillowClan, from ThunderClan. But the fifth clan, the rising clan? Rising, for revenge is RisenClan. Bloodthirsty, RisenClan is still hoping to avenge their descendant leader for his promise. Can the four clans stop the war?
