TWINE
THE_PACIFIST
Full Name;; Twine Windern
Age;; 9 and a half years.
Species;; Grey wolf
Gender;; Female
Appearance;; Small and petite, Twine is a sandy-brown female, with deep, honey-coloured eyes covered in cataracts. She's quite a flimsy thing, and a good thing too - if she had been taller and more muscular by nature, when she was younger she probably would have ended up fighting for one of the sides. She can easily be overpowered.
Personality;; Twine is a stereotypical kind old grandmother; kind, a little doddery and forgetful, perhaps, but a kind soul all the same. This is why she chose the profession as healer, when she was younger - she's very interested in the sciences of herbs and natural plants, and is always trying out new concoctions of things and trying to find more efficient ways of healing others. Twine’s been at the job of healer for years now, and because of this she is very knowledgeable about injuries, and which herbs to cure them with. Nothing can really shock this old wolf when it comes to saving lives; she’s seen it all in the nine or so years of which she’s practiced her craft.
Twine is also very patient, meaning she’s ideal for looking after pups and infants – two things which she loves. She is also, interestingly enough, a pacifist - she believes that disagreements can and should be ended with civil conversation, not war. She’s a good wolf to talk to and can make for some good conversation, although she doesn’t get some of the new fangled things these younger wolves seem to go on about – such as being “accepted” into a pack, for instance. In her day, one turned up, said hello to the dominant(s), and *bam* they were a member.
This isn’t to say that Twine is the model grandmother. She’s doddery with her hips and her legs and whatever else is hurting her at any given moment, and because of this she can sometimes snap at others. She’s also forgetful, often forgetting both faces and names; when you talk to her, you’ll have no idea if she’ll remember you the next day, or you’ll have to go through the “hello dearie who are you?” routine all over again.
This old healer may look quite batty at times, and often is, actually, with her old traditional ways and her habit of talking to herself and very occasionally talking to wolves that only she can see, but she's very observant. She understands a lot more than she sometimes lets on and shows to the world at large; maybe this mad old lady isn’t quite as mad as she’d have you believe. If she does speak to you, you'd do good to listen.
Crush;; He died a very long time ago.
Mate;; Who would have an old, half-blind she-wolf as a mate?
Family;; All dead.
Hope the form's alright!
