A Time To Die || Wolf/Dog Roleplay || Open!

Postby ratsy » Wed Oct 02, 2013 10:45 am

After all the humans were dead, the dogs that lived joined the ranks of the wolves and all was just fine and dandy.

Until the war came.
No one knows what started it, but it wasn't exactly sudden. Things have been very wobbly for many years before.
When the packs stopped helping one another, it was only a matter of time. But, packs? That is left in the past. Now, the groups of canines left are called "armies". Now there are only two. If you want a name, they are called the founding and the rebels. Of course, no one knows if the rebels truly broke of the founding army, but that is where everything points. The relations in the packs.
The hate.
The armies are nothing like packs anymore. Everything they are points to the war. They are so evenly matched, most calculate that they will kill each other of before one wins.

It was the time that the humans died before.
Now it is our time, isn't it?

You're Dead. Now, What Are You, Again?

Postby ratsy » Wed Oct 02, 2013 11:17 am

You are now allowed to have two characters.

...There is nothing but war here. Who did the war make you?...
The General:
|Male| Older Than Three Years| Rebel | Not Taken Yet|
This character is a pure-blood wolf that truly believes in his army, the rebels. He is the spirit of his army, and truly great at tactics. He, though himself a pure-blood, treats both dogs and wolves the same. He is respected, even by the opposing army.

The Leader:
|Female | Adult Any Age | Founder | Not Taken Yet |
This canine is the general of her army, the founding. She is an energetic, speedy and small long furred creature. No one knows if she is pure-blooded or hybrid. She is a great leader, but unlike the general, not that pleasant otherwise. She is very looked up at and respected in her army, and very feared in the rebel camp.

The Solider:
|Male | Four Years | Founder | Zev, played by ~JayJay~ |
This dog has spent his entire life in war. This shaped him in unimaginable ways.

The Peaceful:
|Female | Any Age | Rebel | Reserved for Summer'sDay |
This character is a hybrid, and a pretty one at that. She is pretty much the image of peace... and she is ready to do anything to make the war stop. Since this is a war, she fights but reluctantly.

The Tough One:
|Male| Founder | Four Years old| Mouse, Played by Heemajeebit|
Everyone, including this slightly self-centered male, considers him completely emotion-less and the ultimate killing machine. But, really, is he?

The One Who Got Into The Biggest Mess:
|Female| Rebel | Adult, Any Age | Not Taken Yet |
This energetic female has managed to get her paws tangled in every place possible. She might have betrayed her army at one point or other, she might have had more than one mate, she might have made the wrong enemies, she might have made the wrong allies. And all of the above as likely as not. Either way, she has lost the trust of all her army.

The James Bond:
(I had to call him that, okay?)
|Male | Founder | Any Age| Reserved For Gabric|
A spy for the founders in the rebel camp, this mostly-wolf is quite handsome. He gets himself tangled up in forbidden romance with a fae from rebel pack. Which one? Your choice.

The One Who Seeks Her Own Profit Only:
|Female | Rebel, Or is She? |Three and a Half Years Old | Mel, Played by Lena |
Pretty much the an older, more battered and very much more heartless version of the one who got into the biggest mess, this pure-blood wolf serves the rebel pack, pretending, however to be on the side of the founders. She has two pups in the two packs, the Twins.

The Turmoil
|Male | Founder| Any Age | Not Yet Taken |
Slightly too much of a trickster, this half wolf, half dog, never follows rules and uses new methods of war.

The Twins:
|Female | Founder | Under A Year | Not Yet Taken |
|Male | Rebel | Same as Above | Not Yet Taken |
One: this pure-blood wolf is in the founder pack. She is separated from her brother, and, as she is too young to fight, has never met him. However, strange things have been happening that her adopted father, the General, can't or won't explain: sometimes she has thoughts that don't belong to her, and, for some reason, a tactician called Mel that looks almost exactly like her seems to always be there to see that she is out of trouble.
Two: this pure-blood wolf never met either of his parents. He sometimes has thoughts that seem to belong to a female and sometimes sees a wolfess that looks surprisingly like him delivering news to the leader.
Yes, the twins have a psychic connection.

The Healer
|Female|Nine And A Half| Founding|Twine, Played by Literal|
This character is a pacifist, and she believes the war will destroy both armies. She treats both armies equally, and would heal injured members from either one, even if under direct orders not to.

The Loony:
|Male | Any Age | Rebel | Not Taken Yet |
This dog is incredibly out-of-the-box and even like a human inventor. Most say he'll never reach anything good, but he shoots for the moon, and, just maybe, he'll make it.

The Loner
|Female|Unknown Age|No Army|Silver, played by silverwolf26282|
This character is a pure-blooded wolf. She was born in the wild, and is part of no army. She is, however, willing to lend her services to those who ask. The result is assured to be worth it.

The Scary One:
|Male | Any Age | No Army | Not Taken Yet |
This hybrid, is, in essence, a black wolf. He has dog blood, however, as no wolf is black naturally. He scares many from both armies. What he thinks of the war remains unknown.

I don't expect all roles to be filled. This is a mainly realistic roleplay, except the twins thing and wolves talking and James Bond somehow mysteriously getting into this mess.

Rules

Postby ratsy » Wed Oct 02, 2013 2:19 pm

Rules:
Sorry, but any roleplay has to have them.
1.
No more than four characters per person. And if you have more than two, different genders.
2.
I shouldn't have to say this, but all of the site's rules apply. This means, mentioning this specially because this is a slightly violent RP, not gruesome injuries, suicide, ect.
3.
Make your own form, I am really not picky. Just make sure to include: the basics about your character, and anything else we might need to know. A weakness is a must and if you did a phobia, it would absolutely great. The more details the better, as with the posts! C:
4.
This is semi-lit. Make your posts pretty (or at least neat), descriptive, clear and easy to read. At least four lines per post, though the usual expectation is above that. Three lines is writer's block and is fine. In the worst case of Writer's block, two lines might work, but don't do that all the time. The other expectations still apply to all posts, writer's block is no excuse to to write things other players can not understand.
5.
Grammar must be perfect. At. All. Times. I will be watching and you get two warnings before you are out. Perfect capitalization, punctuation, and, hopefully, spelling. For bad capitalization or punctuation, once, you won't get a warning, but if I see post with
three or more examples of incorrect grammar when it should have been obvious, you get one warning. Repeat it and you are out. End of Discussion.
6.
No ragdolls, mary/gary sues, powerplaying and such. Again, one warning and you are out.
7.
This is not a romance roleplay, though some romance is acceptable, even encouraged.
8.
Always listen to me.
9.
Always listen to Gabric, too. He is the co-owner/mod for the roleplay.
10.
Remember, you are playing a wolf, not a perfect hunter/fighter machine. A wolf can't kill a bear or cougar or something.
11.
Don't be mates/crush on your own character.
12.
If your characters back histories are gruesome, inappropriate, offensive or somehow else not kid-friendly, please refrain from using them, or at least do not describe them on the site. Same things apply to roleplaying.
13.
Have fun! That is a crucial rule. Do not leave anyone out, whatever happens.

    Name:
"My name? That's really asking a lot, dear. Call me Mel just right now. That's all you need to know."
    Gender:
"I'm a fae which is really one of the only things I'll openly tell you, dear."
    Age:
"Oh, never mistake age for experience, dear."
    Character:
"I seek my own profit only, sweetheart."
    Appearance:
"Again, big mistake. Appearance means nothing, daisy. If you must ask I'm a small, grey wolf with dark eyes that look kind. Looks lie and so do I. Oh dear, that rhymed."
    History:
"Oh, dear, dear, dear. You do ask interesting questions. Let's see: say I was born a couple of years ago in a small pack called Sun Pack. There was a forest fire. I ran and met the rebel army...and well, then something happened and the twins were the result. So I ran once more, as no one needed to know. I adopted a different identity (Ice, my name was), and had my pups in the army of the rebels. When I returned to spy in the founding army, I returned with my daughter, deciding to leave my son behind where is was safer: males need protection. I began calling myself Mel. No one smelled a rat, the poor naive souls.
When I changed my name three times, I changed completely. Different wolves, really.
That's why I'm the liar. Because I believe myself."
    Personality:
"Oh, sweetheart, don't you listen? I ain't got much of one. Just a strong will and amazing (if I do say so myself) creativity. I am somewhat of a creator: I create myself, and somehow am not me.
If you're talking about the Mel-me, I'm still quite adaptable. Even if I don't look like much, no one notices that, dear. I'm power-hungry these days, and quite so. I don't like killing without a fight, or anything that's too easy. It feels like luck. Luck feels wrong. I can only rely on myself. No one else will ever understand. Anyway, my inability to take things without a fight is the only reason I'd never attack someone too weak or a pup (I wouldn't attack my pups no matter what, anyway, not only because it'd be easy. I suppose something of Ice is left in me) : I don't think I really have morale other than that. I do prefer to be gentle: it's only better that way. I don't want enemies if I can help it. Bullying others doesn't give that much pleasure. It's only easier to speak gently: everyone knows my bite."
    Likes:
"I like being able to choose my allies carefully. The Rebel Army shouldn't trust me so much, they shouldn't."
    Dislikes:
"Oh, dear, dear. Didn't I mention that already? I hate and mistrust things that come too easy."
    Fears:
"Oh, none. Except maybe that one re-occurring nightmare in which I am unable to think. As long as I can think, I'm...am invincible as being exceptionally clever makes you."
    Weaknesses:
"I have two main weaknesses: one is that I depend on my words too much. The second is that I'd die for my pups. There's too much Ice left. I wish I wasn't that attached to anything: I never was before."
    Strengths:
"I mentioned that before too, dear. Do you have attention problems? I am extremely adaptable, great at lying, and a good fighter."
    Crush:
"No. I am not that naive."
    Mate:
    "Again, no."
    Pups:
"Oh, for Pete's sake! Look at history! I'm tired of repeating this!"
    Other:
    Opening the RP now.

((Hello! Question before I join; do we need to fill those roles you described before creating other sort of characters? It's fine either way, just checking afore I make a bio. =P))
If the fate of the Earth was in my hands....we'd all be doomed.
Hey look! A PENNY!

Re: A Time To Die || Wolf/Dog Roleplay || Open!

Postby Heemajeebit » Thu Oct 03, 2013 2:29 pm

Name: Mouse
Gender: Male
Age: 4 years
Breed: Wolf/Borzoi/Shepherd/Husky/that-mangy-mutt-down-the-road hybrid. It's uncertain exactly what is in him or how much wolf is there (it is less than half, though).
Army: Founders
Role: The Tough One
Appearance: Mouse is a very scruffy character who doesn't seem to care much for taking care of himself. He is very skinny and extremely tall with a rough light dirty-brown coat. His markings include four golden-brown socks, two golden-brown spots above each eye, and a golden-brown belly. His long tail curls over his back slightly. He has golden-brown eyes and an unreadable expression most of the time. His left ear has a nick in it and flops down while his right ear stands tall with the tip torn off.

Personality: Mouse has just about cut himself off from all emotions. Ever since his mother died he has become a cold killing machine. Though he will not kill for no reason, he never minds spilling some blood. In battle he is ruthless and will do whatever it takes to win, even if it means using some dirty methods. He has no ties to anyone and looks out for only himself and the Leader.

History: Believe it or not, Mouse was quite the momma's boy when he was a pup. He loved her with every fiber of his being. Even when his littermates all left to make their way in the world, he stuck with her. She was a very kind and caring dog and tried to teach Mouse to be the same way. He grew to be much larger than she was and became a sort of bodyguard for her, as living in this world on your own without battle experience, as his mother lacked, was a dangerous thing. Despite her trying to raise him to be kind, he knew that kindness would never protect her, so he remained quite wary and mistrusting of other dogs.

When he was almost two a small pack of five dogs tested Mouse's limits--and ultimately broke them. They waited until he was gone in search of food to gang up on his mother. They attacked and she was gravely injured when Mouse returned. Anger took over and he attacked the group. But anger has no place in a battlefield; he blindly clawed and bit, but was quickly overtaken by their numbers and pinned down. His mother tried to help, but she was no match for the larger dogs. They quickly killed her, and that's when something broke inside Mouse. The anger fled, and he felt nothing but calm as he broke free from his attackers and turned the tides.

Since that day he has felt almost nothing but a calmness that has helped him in battle. He vowed to never again be ruled by emotion, for he felt that it was his anger that rendered him unable to save his mother. He wasn't against forming another bond with another canine, but he just hasn't been able to. He was assimilated into the Founding army where his battle prowess has been put to good use.

((Yo, hope this is all good. Don't mind changing things if I need to, though~))
