Oakleaf is a cat with a hard shell over a soft patch of fur. He grew up with this shell, and came into the clan with it. Inside his shell is a usually nice and calm tom who will happily talk to anyone, though on the outside is a straight forward tom that will give a piercing glare to those who get to close. Only when highly concerned for a clanmate will he ever show some type of care for others. Also, he seems to have an odd soft spot for kits and will most likely let a few things sly.

Oakleaf was born to a family of rogues.[/size][/i] Despite being a "close family," the term "fend for yourself" was something he grew up with. This caused him to grow rather distance from others, usually keeping close to those he seems trustworthy. One day while hunting, Oakleaf came across a young sick kit. Rather carefully, he took it back to his group where he attempted to nurse it back to health. The members of the group were fine with the idea of letting the kit die, but Oakleaf was set on making sure this kit survived. Though, it wasn't enough. Within a day the kit passed away, leaving the tom devastated and growing a sense of guilt. He gave a portion of the blame to the group of rouges he grew up with, angered by the lack of help and care they showed throughout the kits short life. The next day Oakleaf left the group, refusing to look back at the people he once called his family. It didn't take him long to find Paradiseclan, where he happily stays now.

||appearance- Shadowpaw is gray/brown with streaks of black covering him. His tail seems to be the origin of his name, for it is the only part of his body that is completely black. His paws are a lighter gray than any other part of his body, and his nose has the most pure brown. He has a very light shade of brown, although it seems to be gray, on his back. His underbelly is only a bit lighter than his back.

||history- Shadowpaw grew up with Lightpaw, his best friend. He admires Lightpaw amazingly, for she was honest and loyal. He liked her because she had two sides, she could also be feisty. He thought it was funny when she got mad, she would get so feisty and look playful. Before he knew Lightpaw, though, he was pretty lonely. His mother died birthing him, and his father was unknown. Shadowpaw lived a few moons only with a nursery. It was when he hardly even had a memory when he had met Lightpaw. Shadowpaw never talked to anyone except for a few queens, the leader, and Lightpaw. Lightpaw gave Shadowpaw tips on how to talk, which he was greatful for. He knew that without Lightpaw, he would not have been able to say a word. When he was around her, he could just talk all he wanted. People seem to see him as an icy person. Shadowpaw grew up with all the other apprentices making fun of his shyness, or just not liking him for it.
