Storm

Storm goes wandering through the open fields, his legs dusty and greyed from the dirt that was flying around. His dark coat was softened by the lighter color of the dirt, helping him to blend in better with the dying bushes and shrubs. He didn't mind the shrubs and bushes dying out, they were great for getting hard to reach scratches, but the dust was getting difficult to handle. For now he remained on his search for mares. He'd found the perfect place to take them to, to raise a family and not have to be fighting constantly for land power. The search had begun a week ago and so far he'd only found one mare but she had died two days into the journey back to the land. She'd bee sick and skinny so he had expected it partially, there wasn't any room now for more errors so he was headed toward the streams, or what may be left of the drying ground.

Echo trotted along a dust trail. Her ears pricked incase of danger. A twig snapped behind her and she took of like a bat out of hell. Her legs pumping faster and faster. A river or what was left of it anyway came into view. Sticking her hooves into the ground and coming to a straight halt in front of a huge stallion. Echo whinnied playfully to him, before approaching slowly.

Storm

Storm slowed his walk as he heard something moving quickly in his direction. He shook one dust from his eyelashes then noticed the figure was a mare. He flicked his tail calmly as he watches her approach, seemingly nervously. When he heard her whinny to him he perks his ears a bit more before lowering his head to the tiny stream. He drinks in a few small gulps then trots over the water to her. He kept away a moment then shakes off his coat gently. "Hello.. I'm Storm, you might be?" he nickered softly then snorts some dust from his nostrils.

Clandestine Secret of Wisteria

As a wind blew, Wisteria was moving. Her hooves stirred up quiet dust clouds which fluttered round her legs as she nimbly bypassed all the shrubs that threatened to score her simple coat. The mare moved quietly, easily, but her eyes were blank. She never really recovered from her last herd. She would be fine if she had lost him to a sickness, or if he was beaten, but he just gave up like that! After all the love and commitment she'd given him, after the days she stayed by his side when others left... She thought she was better than that. She thought she would have meant something. Apparently not. Stallions weren't to be trusted.

As she thought about that day, her hooves, so naturally evading the dangerous plants, slipped. A paticularly thorny brush raked past her leg, making the mare cry out softly. Stopping, she lifted her hoof carefully and watched it. A trickle of blood was on her foreleg, but it was not too serious. It would be lame for a while, but in time, it would be fine. Sighing as she looked at the plant, she trotted away, now lifting her mind off the rut she'd been in for around two years as she now searched for a herb that might help.
Mostly just on rps now. XD

    ••Echo Off The Walls••
    •Echo•
Echo stared blankly and the powerful stallion before her. Her thoughts raced around wildly. She stepped back and took a tiny mouthful of water before turning to look at him. "I go by the name of Echo Off The Walls, but please call me only by Echo." Her tone slightly flirty thought her concern was on her being in heat.

Lightning Storm Herd

Storm

Storm watches the mare eagerly, excited to very possibly now have a mare for his herd. He eyed over the mare, watching her body language as he now realized she was in heat. He didn't particularly want to be kicked or bitten at the moment so watching her signs would be the best way to avoid all that. After the mare introduced herself Storm felt confident enough to take a small stride toward her body. He flicked his tail calmly, waiting for her to let him know how she felt about him being here so far. She seemed to have relaxed a bit from when he'd first seen her eyes, but he also had a feeling he was pushing his limits here pretty soon. "It is very nice to meet you Echo." He started, just going to try and distract her now with a bit of fliting since her voice sounded like she was trying a little to get his attention. "Also, if you might have been curious, my full given name is Lightning Storm, though I do prefer simply being called Storm. It's shorter, quite obviously." He added along after moving his nose closer to her neck and shoulder. He was in a better position now to where he could turn his rear end back to her if she decided to kick him or bite at him.

Cali Girl
5 Years old
Loner
Feeling: Lonely
With: No one

Cali

Cali wanders aimlessly, looking for sufficient forage to fill her up. He hooves were not as sore as they had been recently, but she was certainly hoping to find a nice place to sleep before it go dark and she'd have to sleep standing. Her muscles were barely used to all this word, having to leap over small logs and even over brush sometimes when she found herself caught in a corner. The wind was calming though, it seemed to untangle her mane somewhat as she sniffed the dirt for grass. She lipped up a few pieces here and there, nothing enough to make her feel better yet though. The summer was difficult, but fall was worse then came winter and she knew if she hadn't had enough to eat before winter she'd starve to death. With no fat on her body any more, she only had flabby muscles and slowly aching legs and hooves.

Dream

The black mare stood under a tree with her head low. She was sad, she felt like she was cursed. Ever since her sister left, bad stuff happen. Her life went upside down when her foal died and her leader died. And now she was scared. Who knew where she would end up at. All she could think about now was finding a new herd, she didnt care if she ended up being with a mean stallion. She lifted her head up and looked around. Nothing yet.She had to get moving and she started walking. She then let out a whine, waiting for a response.

Clandestine Secret of Wisteria

The solitary mare drifted across the plains, searching, seeking. There was a gentle limp in her walk, but she quickly synced it with her movement to create an easy flow as she moved through the area like a ghost, like a secret. In some ways, her name was fitting. Wisteria. A flower uncommonly found, and Wisteria wasn't like most. The mare glided, hauntingly elegant. Suddenly, her plain hazel eyes spotted movement. Her own movement ceased, creating an unnatural stillness as she watched. A yearling? Without a herd? She could see the path the other horse had travelled, going through thick shrubs and even logs. Was this horse new to this area then, to not be used to seeking out the easiest path? Or perhaps, the yearling was panicked. Wisteria moved, but this time it was to hover closer. The yearling posed no threat. What she didn't want to meet was stallions, especially with a slightly injured leg.

As she came closer, she realised it wasn't a yearling, but a very small mare. This piqued the queer mare's curiosity, and weaving her way over, Wisteria watched the small mare quietly. She looked in bad shape, probably not used to the harsh conditions here. Being born here, Wisteria was well conditioned to finding less nutrients, but more than that, she simply knew where to look. The smaller mare was wasting her time looking for grasses here, and time was precious. She was courting death. Gently letting out a snort, the older mare waited for the younger one to notice her, staying out of reach just in case the mare bucked or bit when she startled.
