The Mountain Clan has lived in their home for generations, it has braved the harsh elements of said mountain, and survived. They are strong, they are brave, they are proud. They will stand together against whatever comes their way.

For generations there has been a legend. All the mother cats speak of it to their kits, telling the tale of a dark one who will come one day and destroy their Mountain home. But like all legends, like all stories there is hope at the end of the tunnel.

The legend speaks of those that are true, and brave. They are warriors, brave and strong, loyal and wise. Those that can stand against the darkness. Those that can defend their mountain home.

Against the Darkness we will stand

The Rules
1. Tess and Nick's Rules are Awsome, Know em, live em, breath em.
2. This Roleplay is Semi-lit. Which means, No text speak, and I'm looking for at the very least 1 well thought out descriptive paragraph, with 7-8 lines. If you wanna do more Awesome. If you have Writers Block, that is only acceptable for 2 posts. I'm not going to be all Anal about Spelling and grammar, because I know mine isn't the best. Just be understandable.
3. No MS/GS, Nobody is perfect.
4. Drama is Awesome; just don't Lime light it.
5. Keep things realistic, though this are talking cats, they can not do things like fly, or take down large pray. So if your house kitty can't do it, neither can these guys got it? Good!
6. You can move up in rank (IE: Kit to apprentice, Apprentice to Warrior, but Clan leader has say before it's a go)
7. Please keep genders equal.
8. There is no limit on characters, but don't make at 10, and then only play 1 or 2.
9: Create your own form, show me what you can do before I accept you into the RP. No one word answers, No meet me's, I want a personality, I want a history. THESE ARE A MUST HAVE! and must be at LEAST 5-6 lines long.
10. I retain the right to change, edit or add rules at any time.

The Clan ranks

Every cat in every Clan has a rank of some sort, ranging from naughty kit to wise medicine cat to retired elder. The rank of each member of a Clan gives them more or less power compared to their other Clan mates, and all this depends on the amount of effort they put into their duties. If you wish your rank to go up in a Clan, what do you do? Work harder. Here are some of the Clan ranks and the power that comes with them:

Kit: The kit has basically no power at all in the Clan, which makes sense, because kits are only from 0-6 moons old. Anyone can scold a kit, but it is considered impolite to do so unless you are a leader, the kit's mother, or the medicine cat. Kits stay in the nursery with the other queens and kits until they are 6 moons old.

Apprentice: Apprentices are the next rank up from kits, and range from 6 moons old to about 1 year old. Apprentices have a higher status than kits, but once again can be scolded by almost anyone. But now, as an older cat they are expected to be able to do tasks for the elders and other warriors who need things done.

Medicine Cat Apprentice: Medicine cat apprentices are regarded in basically the same manner as other apprentices, except, when the time calls, they can be talked to like they were a full medicine cat.

Warrior: Warriors are the general rank of the cats in a Clan. They are given tasks mainly by the leader or deputy, and sometimes the medicine cat. They hunt, fight, and patrol and are now full-grown cats.

Senior Warrior: Senior warriors are the next rank up from warrior. They are usually closer to the leader/deputy and are more frequently chosen to do more important tasks. Age matters in this situation and senior warriors are mainly warriors who have been alive for a long time, but are not yet old enough to become an elder.

Mentor: Mentors are normal warriors/senior warriors who have been chosen to train an apprentice. As well as training they do the normal warrior duties, and will return to being a warrior once their apprentice has been deemed worthy of the warrior status.

Queen: Queens are she-cats expecting or nursing kits. Full-time queens are almost always in the nursery and they take care of other she-cats kits, if the mother does not wish to stay in the nursery. Queens are rarely assigned warrior duties, unless they choose to be given them. Only in the most desperate times will queens have to defend the Clan, and usually warriors from other Clans do not attack them unless necessary.

Medicine Cat: Medicine cats take care of ill cats, and also do some warrior duties if necessary. There can only be one medicine cat, or two, if a medicine cat apprentice becomes medicine cat before the other medicine cat joins StarClan. Medicine cats frequently get omens from StarClan. Medicine cats are not allowed to have mates or kits.

Deputy: The deputy of a Clan is the second-in-command. If the leader dies, then the deputy takes his/her place. The deputy assigns other warriors their duties (patrolling, hunting, etc.) and helps the leader with their decisions. Except for the leader and medicine cat, everyone has to listen to the deputy.

Leader: The leader is the cat who leads the Clan; anything the leader says, goes. Leaders are to receive nine lives from StarClan as well as their leader name (the first part of their name with 'star' at the end) before they can make any true decisions. The leader of a Clan represents that Clan at gatherings, and may also receive signs from StarClan.

My name is ... Patchpelt
Some call me ... Most everyone just calls me Patchpelt, but those closest to me call me patch or patchy.
I have been alive for ... 3 years of age,
I have been born as a ... If it isn't quite obvious by my coat color I am a female.
I have gained the Rank of ...In my three seasons I have gain the Rank of Warrior.

Ｗｈｅｎ ｙｏｕ ｓｅｅ ｍｅ

The first thing you see is ...Is my interestingly marked coat, its is long and fluffy with patches of orange and black scattered through out and across my face.
The windows to my soul ...Are a warm autumn yellow, that are bright and inquisitive. They are slightly rounded, and take in everything they need to, and even stuff they do not.
Souvenirs of life ...I have been lucky so far and I have no outer scars. Though inside I am greatly scarred, my mother died at birth, my father died not long after defending the clan. My siblings did not survive the first weeks of life.
Overall, you see ... A very square but solidly built Fae, my head is rounded but it is hard to distinguish the shape of my head because of all my fur, my ears which sit in line with my eyes at the top of my head are sharp pointed little triangles. My coat like I said before is fluffy and mostly white, but I have patches of orange and black that are painted across my back and shoulders, my face is also a mix of these black and orange patches.

My legs are thickly built as all cats should be, my muscles under my coat are strong and help me be as fast I need to be, during a hunt or battle. My body like most cats ends in a long fluffy tail which also sports splashes of orange and black.

Ｗｈａｔ Ｉ ｈｉｄｅ

I have been told that I was ... Very kind and loving, but sometimes a bit standoffish. But you would be too if you lost all the family you ever had before you were even a moon old. I am a sweet fae, who cares very deeply for those close to me, and will protect them with my own blood if i must. My Clan is the most important thing to me. I have never known a true undying love of that Tom that is meant for me, but I have loved many of my friends and even the lovely Queen Softfur who raised me through my Kit stage.

it is from her, that I took my strength and determination from. I am strong willed and can be quite bullheaded. But, that does not mean I will not listen to one's idea or suggestions, it just means sometimes you will get an argument out of me instead of agreement. As for me being Standoffish, there are just times when I wish i could be alone.

A stocky almost all white Kitten, with a patch of chocolate brown fur across my back. That same lighter chocolaty brown splashes across all four legs, but my paws are white as snow. My Tail is a dark dark chocolate brown, as is the mask on my face and each of my ears. My Coat is fluffy, but not super long, its just thick and fluffy.

Souvenirs of life ... At my age there are many, my ears are ragged, I bare four parrell scars across my right shoulder to my throat from the battle that took my love. A broken heart from the loss of my mate and my kits.
Overall, you see ... . A small and dainty looking jet black female, my fur is smooth and shines even in the weakest of lights. I am on the small side, but I was strong and swift to defend myself and those of my clan. Age has slowed me down a bit, but it does not show in my proud and solid carriage.

Before I was here I was ... My mother was a kitty pet who met my father Silverfang in the woods, they fell in love mated and had me. I was born in a house but was wild like my father, I ended up finding the Mountain Clan when I was only 3 seasons old.

Overall, you see ... . A solidly built long and lean tom cat, with fiery red fur and muscles visible under my Pelt. My fur is short and close to my skin, but smooth to the touch, not that any would ever touch me. My body is free of damage and well cared for at all times. My eyes are bright yellow, but cold as the coldest winter nights.
