The female was smaller than he was, so when she tried to lift her tail above his, Pride had to bite back laughter. He easily kept his tail above hers, and his growls were deeper and louder than hers. It was obvious to him that he was the alpha here, not her. However, her arrogance pushed him past his limit as she lifted her maw even higher, revealing her throat. Pride didn't even bother to respond to her question about attacking a female, at least not verbally. As soon as there was a clear shot to her throat, the large male took it, lunging forward without a sound, fangs snapping. His attack was not intended to be fatal, simply a warning and he made sure he didn't hit his target, flying past her. He turned to face her, his eyes narrowed as he took in her comment. He relaxed, but only slightly before asking her, "You're one of the transferred wolves then?"

If so, then he'd help her find her way out of his territory if she had no interest in joining the pack he was trying to build. If not, he'd give her the chance to leave willingly. If she chose not to leave or join his pack, she'd be killed. He'd killed females before, he'd do it again without a hint of regret. However, if she did join his pack, he'd be able to show her that he did know how to treat a female, as long as she wasn't intruding. Stepping back, he waited for her answer to his question. He was no longer growling, but his hackles were still raised, and he still held his tail high above hers.

She snarled as he flew over her, she whirled around, snapping at his paws. She shook her pelt briefly the icey white flakes still clinging to it. Aailayah's nails clicked against the ground as she trudged forward, beginning to circle the brute, before pausing, she stood to the right of him, the breeze brushing against her coat, dancing through it, picking it up and twisting it. The sun kissed her pelt, the snow the clung to it glistening; the wind plucked the remaining leaves from the trees and carried the crisp scent for the imminent winter. Aailayah's nose crinkled as the scent of the multicolored wolf carries itself to her nose, a filthy and unpleasant scent. Her amber eyes searched those of the shady brute's before hers. She seemed to ease, not intimidated by the brute in the least, though she stood still, her body seemingly immense in her stance. Aailayah grunted with anticipation as the dark wolf spoke, when he finished, she prepared her answer. "Indeed. I suppose you are as well?" she offered a crooked unmeaningfull grin as she posses her question which swiftly dissolved to a scowl as she apprehensively awaited his response.

Pride noted her response to his mock attack, but wasn't bothered by it in the slightest. He knew he was more powerful than she was, simply because he was a male. That was simply the nature of their genders, and her snarling and snapping would not change that. He also noted that the light dusting of snow on her pelt seemed to be bothering her, but he didn't pursue that thought further either. Honestly, he didn't care to know what bothered the female, or what made her happy. He didn't care about her enough to want to know. However, he was interested in why she was here, and her next comment confirmed what he'd thought. The humans had brought her here and simply dumped her where they thought she'd do best.

He tilted his head as she asked if he too had been brought here by humans before dipping his head quickly in acknowledgement that yes, he had. "I was brought here before the snow fell last season. It was already cold, but the ground wasn't covered in anything more than leaves. As such, I have claimed this land for my pack, and you are now intruding. You have two choices. Join us or leave." Of course, she could always chose the unspoken third option, death by the fangs of his pack, but somehow she got the feeling she would not go that route.

Aailayah glared at the dark wolf for a moment, her amber eyes clouded. She paced a moment before hearing his response, upon receiving it she shook. The fae relaxed to her haunches a moment, acknowledging they had all been left here in this peculiar and rather small forest, at least in her view. She rose again, her claws clicking as they met the moist soil which had barely been covered with snow, when she returned to his right side, she paused. Aailayah's ears flicked as the wind plucked leaves from seemingly bare trees, and creatures scurried into their winter den's. Her gaze returned to the massive, shady brutes and she began, "I have been here only for a mere few moons," as he moved on to his next retort following his first seemingly calm reply she squinted a bit, glaring at him, "You expect me to know this was your territory? I was left no more than three meesly months ago and you left no idication this was your territory imprudent brute! she growled. Aailayah ceased, however, collecting yourself, although she was prepared for his attack at any given time, she was not interested in induldging in such endeavors. As his last arront proclomation met her ears, she glared at him, rage and irritation coursing throughout her body, her hair rose as did her tail, she began stepping forward, though halted, and began, "Is this how you are going to create your pack? Force them into it? I dare not deny your request as I know what the future would hold for me. You do not intimidate me dark wolf, I have seen plenty worse than yourself. I suppose this is my informal agreement." she grimaced in her attempt to muster a fictitious smile, instead appearing as a light frown.

The male lifted his lip in a sneer as he watched the female struggle with her stupid anger. The offer of a pack, a home and prey was such an affront to her that it angered her? He simply rolled his eyes at the thought before pinning her with his amber gaze. "I am not forcing you into anything, you insistent female! I've given you the same choice that any other alpha would give upon finding an intruder upon his land. You may either join my pack, or leave. I'm not holding you down and forcing you to join. You are free to go. You are not, however, free to live on my land if you are not part of my pack. I don't tolerate loners taking prey that could serve to feed my pack. I'm sure if you'd calm down long enough to think with your head instead of your emotions, you would see that!" At her comment that he did not intimidate her, Pride let his disdain and laughter show. "It is not my intention to intimidate you, my dear. You see, I do not waste time with intimidation. If I'd wanted to take care of you, you'd be bleeding at my paws right now. In my eyes, wolves who waste time on verbal fights are not worth my time." He shrugged before turning his attention back to his beta.

"I was just showing Kai where the pack den is located. You're welcome to join us if you'd truly like to become part of our pack. If not, you may pass through this territory once on your way out. The border is about eleven miles to the north. Do try not to take anymore prey on your way out." The dark male didn't even bother to wait for her response as he turned away and continued towards the pack den.
