The medium sized she-cat flicked her white and black tail back and forth making a breeze around her cooling her off since she was quite hot.
Soon after getting tired of fanning her self she made her way down to the stone ground lake and sat down beside it staring into the whirl pools that the fish made underwater.
Her paws then carried her to the the mouth of the water as she started walking into the cool refreshing water,a small fish caught her deep blue eyes. Immediately she slashed for it catching it with her claws.
She then devoured her kill licking her chops quickly then sprinting back towards the camp her tail flicking her tail back and forth.

Emberheart padded back into camp, a vole hanging from her jaws. She'd spend most of the early morning out hunting away from camp, just the way she enjoyed it, but work was still to be done. The she-cat approached the kill pile, taking a plump shrew, a nice mouse and the vole in her mouth. She took a step or two back before looking around the camp,Where is that apprentice of mine? She asked herself, raising her nose to the air -hopeful to catch scent of Blackpaw.

Her paws made no sound as she padded past the warrior and apprentice den, stopping at the elder's den.
"Good morning Bearclaw." The warrior set down the three kills, picking up the vole and handing it to him. She'd gone to the edge of the territory to find him his favorite, and he knew it. The tom gave a nod of thanks and began to eat it. Emberheart turned to the other elders, Owlcry and Wavepool,"How are you two lovely she-cats this morning?" She asked the two, chuckling at their warm answer, but concerned by how Owlcry moved, slowly and as if she had sticky honey in her joints. The she-cat picked up the mouse, handing it to Owlcry, then giving the Shrew to Wavepool. Her back turned as she headed out, glancing over her shoulder one last time,"Have a good day. I will send my apprentice by to check for ticks before sundown -and Owlcry, I will tell Cherrypaw that you're a bit stiff, he will give you herbs for it."She called to them before turning back around and heading for the medicine cat's den.

Herbs were neatly stacked in sections along the walls, and it seemed like some herbs and berries were in short supply while others had generous amounts.
"Cherrypaw, Owlcry has stiff joints. Of course she will not admit it, but I think she is getting worse." A wave of sorrow hit her, realizing that Owlcry would not be with Creekclan much longer. It brought back grim memories of her parents, passing quite close to each other and as elders. Tears welled up in her eyes and she glanced away quickly, intent on not letting Cherrypaw watch. "Blackpaw will be picking ticks off of the elders before sundown. I will send him by to get some Mousebile, would you mind having it ready for him?" With that, she turned around and left, not particularly wanting to start a conversation when she had so many other things to do.

The senior warrior knew better than to expect a tom like Blackpaw to be up so early, therefore the first place she searched for her apprentice was the den he slept in. Sure enough, he was lying down right in his nest.
"Blackpaw! Wake up, get yourself something to eat, and meet me at the entrance to the nursery, hurry up!"Emberheart padded away, deciding quickly that she was going to work on his fighting for the day, and perhaps hunting tomorrow. The she-cat figured she'd do something productive while she waited for her apprentice, walking back over to the kill pile and taking up another mouse and padding off quickly to the nursery. She peered her head in, quietly murmuring to Willowwing. "Here. I did not want you to wait until someone got hungry to realize they you needed to be fed. I have to head out with Blackpaw, so I cannot talk today, but I wish you'll stay safe." She told the queen, knowing well that most wanted to get out and hop around like their old warrior selves. As he left the nursery, she sat down, her plush tail curled around her front paws as she waited for Blackpaw.

GREYFEATHER
_________________________________________

she-cat twenty eight moons the fighter

the beginning

name - grey. her clan name will be greyfeather, the prefix for her current name and the suffix feather will be given to her for her agility and lightness. it also serves to disguise her true nature as an excellent fighter.
age - this she-cat is twenty-eight moons old.
      gender - grey is female.
rank - currently, she is a rogue, and feared for it. when she joins the clan, she will become a warrior.

shimmering reflection

fur - blue broken mackerel tabby, more commonly known as grey tabby.
      eyes - pale green.
physique - slim, but lithe and muscular; she's stronger than she looks.
scars - her right ear has a big tear in it; a scar runs across her left shoulder to almost her elbow; four small scars on her right haunches; the very tip of her tail is missing.
identifying features - long whiskers and large ears.
scent - her fur carries the aroma of cinnamon and pine.

digging deeper

personality - grey is well known for her fierce, spit-fire personality and barbed tongue as sharp as the claws she uses to make deep wounds within flesh. she's the sort of cat to protect her territory quickly and enforce words with the flash of claws. she's aggressive and tends to stalk around rather than prance gracefully like many other she-cats. grey is a force to be reckoned with and she will not hesitate to protect herself. she looks out for herself more than others, and tends to be emotionless upon meeting and living with other cats casually, but eventually her wall of ice will melt away and you'll find a cat to depend on who will (eventually) protect not only herself, but those around her. she has a small weakness for kits and will do anything to protect the small scraps of fur, although she pretends to hate them and actively tries to stay away from them; she's not the sort of cat to have kits for her own and believes that love is for fools.
history - grey was born twenty-eight moons ago during the night in a den nestled under the roots of a sweet-smelling oak tree. her mother was a pale silver tabby with blue eyes, a soft cat who followed every whim of her mate, a powerfully-built tom with a strong attitude, a brown tabby with dark green eyes. grey never knew her parents' names, for she simply called them "mother" and "father" while her mother never spoke to her mate and her father never used his mate's name. a tom and a she-cat were born, but the tom was weak and died not long after he was born, so grey does not even remember what he looked like, although she sometimes remembers the warm spicy scent of his fur. so her father threw every effort into making sure his remaining daughter was as strong and fierce as he was, and would be able to look after herself when the time came. from the time she could walk her father baptised her in the fire of combat and she was ready to live by herself at six moons.
around this time, her mother had a second litter of kits (four little toms, two brown tabbies, a pure grey and a black) and with attention solely on them now, young grey stalked away in the night and found a territory for herself at the age of eleven moons. it was a taken territory, but her ruthless demeanour meant she could not pass the opportunity up; the ginger tom who owned the territory was sent packing. it is just outside of clan territory, a part with soft grass and many trees and streams. she has lived here for nearly a year and a half, and has secured her reputation. grey has been known to cross into clan territory and take prey, and she has also attacked warriors before.

blackpaw

blackpaw
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
emberheart's apprentice }{ tom }{ six moons }{ sleeping
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Blackpaw laid quietly in the apprentice's den. He was dreaming of chasing a squirrel, and Emberheart approving. Suddenly, a big badger came and swept his away, and then he jolted awake. Blackpaw jumping a little, opening his eyes intentivally. He noticed it was Emberheart, who was padded out of the apprentice's den quickly. Blackpaw yawned and then extended his back in attempt to loosen it. Looking around, he noticed there were no other apprentices in the den. "I must've overslept," he muttered and rolled his eyes. "Emberheart's going to be mad," Blackpaw sighed. He padded out to the den and found Emberheart sitting contently with her tail neatly tucked around her front paws. In a way, Blackpaw was lucky he had Emberheart as a mentor. She had a lot of knowledge, and had had many apprentices before him. But sometimes, keeping with her orders and training was hard. Blackpaw was overtired, which was partly the reason he had overslept. Which was also an accident. He came up to Emberheart and sat down next to her, holding his head in shame.
