((Sorry this is late. Weekends are always unpredictable for me...))Small|She-cat|7 moons|Currently- Interacting|Feeling- Optimistic|Is with- Dovepaw and Crowfrost|If I can
I'd like to feel it (And try watching out for you)
Your dream, drawn on a white canvas
I can see all of it, from here on out, forever
Small listened carefully to DovePaw. She stared with wide eyes and her jaw dropped from surprise and horror. She couldn't believe it. That this cat's mothered died, and how she didn't have any family either. She didn't understand what DovePaw meant by apprentice, but that wasn't the point! Small couldn't imagine losing her family...well she was separated from them right now, but at least they were still ok. Whimpers started to come from this very caring she-cat and she looked like she was about to cry, or as close as cats get to that.
"No, forget about me. I'm fine. But you....Oh I'm so sorry!" she whimpered and started to rub her eyes with a front paw. Of course this dense cat soon got distracted from this sudden wave of sadness by DovePaw's comment on how her mouse wont bite her. Small once again looked down at her mouse. Could the dead come back and bite? Maybe they could....in a more abstract way. Either way, she notice that both of the other cat's were eating now, so she started to eat herself, thanking the mouse in her head for providing her a meal with his unwanted sacrifice. She liked eating last, or at least waiting for the others to start. She took delicate bites from her mouse, being a polite eater.
Soon DovePaw continued the explanation of the quest, but Small didn't really get it. She was quite confused and had stopped eating to try and make sense of the words. Then CoalFrost soon started talking about cats with two names. Oh how Small was confused. Hadn't DovePaw just been talking about dreams? Now CoalFrost was talking about clan cats? Oh her poor brain. Small slowly turned her head to look at CoalFrost, then to DovePaw. For many minutes, she thought hard about what both of them said. Take one thought at a time. She had never heard of clan cats before but they just sounded like big families to her. Now they were looking for a new big family....Small finally spoke.
"....Ive never heard of clan cats before....So that's kind of hard for me to understand. Sorry. But it's like a big family right? Mama has talked about humans, though I've never seen one. Sometimes they keep cats right? I wonder why..." Her voice trailed off and she couldn't help but shiver. Her brother Moose always told scary stories about humans that she was very sure he made up, but still...Small gave herself a little shake, and continued speaking.
"And I live in the forest too with my family...so would that make my family my own clan? Even though Mama and Dada were the only ones who ever hunted and fought?" she finished with a tip of her head. Small really was a sheltered cat. It really would surprise many to know that she was born in the woods and lived there her whole life. A wild cat that knew nothing about the wild. Not a kitty-pet in the slightest.
But Small's eyes soon lit up and she gave the two a warm smile.
"Either way. Sure! Let's go find a clan." she said cheerfully. This cat wasn't hard to convince at all. She easily believed in everything DovePaw and CoalFrost said. For she was very optimistic, nothing seemed impossible to her....though also maybe you could consider her naive and trusting nature too. She was totally up for going on a quest. Why not? Maybe she'll find her family too! Either way it was better than being alone.Ice|She-cat|20 moons|Currently- Interacting|Feeling- Interested and cheerful|Is with- Spiderfang|I could be fake
I could be stupid
Or you know I could be just like you
Ice had notice that the tom was skeptical of her words. Already, she was creating a careful and personal profile of the tom. She did this with every cat she knew. You could almost say it's her special talent. She had a good memory, never did forget a face. Never will. He seemed tolerant, kinda anti-social, very guarded, eh...nothing that unusual. She listened to his words very carefully. Ice immediately noted that he must have once been a clan cat. Once. Cause there were no clans in this area right now, or she would surly know. Ice always knows what's happening around her so-called turf. He then spoke of her and him parting ways since she was no use. He took a step back and started walking away.
"...Oh." Was all she said, watching him leave with big sad eyes. You could practically here the violins behind her. However, Spiderfang soon turned around and Ice immediately changed her pathetic kitten expression to a sweet hopeful one. He had a question for her. Ice listened very closely, taking in every word he said. Not the best description. Also what kind of cat just asks if you dream about dead cats and rivers? But she could work with this. And indeed. She did have a dream like that. Only once though. And it had not disturbed her much in the slightest. It was just a dream, nothing more. However this cat might...Well this would be interesting. Her smile soon turned into that default sly smile of her's. Ah this could be quite interesting indeed. She walked over to him, once again pressing her body against his, her tail lightly placed over his back. She gave him a wicked side glace with that amberish-green eye of her's.
"Wah...you're kinda rude Spiderfang~. But I'll forgive you. So this dream.....this one you've been talking about...might the dead cats have their eyes gouged out?" She asked casually.
Rabbit|Tom|22 moons|The Survivor|Currently- Eating and interacting|Feeling- Wary|Is with- Swan|I reach out when i have a confession
I reach out in desperation.
I reach out but no one is listening
Rabbit wasn't sure what to think. He was so sure this she-cat was going to kill him. Everything wanted to kill him. Death, death, death. She was mad, of course for him scratching her forehead. But...her expression seemed to change when she looked at him, and her fur immediately soothed down. Rabbit didn't understand why. Suddenly, to his surprise, the she-cat said it was okay and showed a delicate black paw. She then spoke more words. Words that confused him. Rabbit sadly couldn't think of the feeling those words brought, the feeling was kindness though. Was that how long it's been since this cat experienced kindness? He didn't know what to say and just stood there, shaking. Suddenly, she nudge over to him what looked to be a fish. The fishy smell entered his nose, and Rabbit couldn't help but drool a little. He was starving. Those dreams really had messed up his schedule. In the end, the fish won him over and he chowed down on it like a wolf. Oh the flavor was amazing. How hungry he had been. Had it actually been longer than three days since he ate? He couldn't really remember. Oh those dumb dreams. She listened to her introduction but did not say anything as he was too busy eating the fish.
Once he finished though, he licked his lips and gave the she-cat his attention. Rabbit still looked very wary, but his fur was pretty much down now. A little bit more relaxed now perhaps? Just a bit. So her name was Swan? Rabbit honestly thought it suited her, especially since she seemed to have a talent of catching very good fish. Oh but what if there were juniper berries in it? Rabbit shook his head. He just needed to focus on the cat in front of him. He took a deep breath.
"M-my name...is um....Rabbit...I-I'm sorry I hit you. Feathers turn around from the dagger. Please don't kill me." he spoke this all in a shaky and pathetic voice. This was progress for him though. Rabbit can't even remember the last time he told someone his name, let alone talked to someone.
