GREY

She continued to growl as she pinned the tom down and he begged her to let him go. Lashing her tail, she leaned down so that her mouth was near his ear and the movement forced her claws to press harder into his skin. "If there are scent marks, the territory is spoken for," she hissed menacingly, "give me the sparrow and maybe I won't kill you." An ultimatum, really. Although, this bony, pitiful excuse for a tom wouldn't be worth killing. Not that she'd let him know that. Lashing her tail even more, she flexed her claws to add depth to her meaning.

      Spiderfang narrowed his eyes at the she-cat's response. No one would just have food lying around to give to complete stranger. They'd probably be dead by now. He watched as the white cat leap gracefully from her perch, taking a bite out of her rabbit before she did. The smell wafted over to him and he felt himself just get hungrier at the smell. It felt like it had been longer than just a day without food. He was shoved back into reality when the she-cat nudged him, makings his fur bristle ever so slighty. What happened to personal space? he thought a little grumpily. So her name was Ice. It suited her with her white coat, but all the same, he thought she should have been named after those eyes somehow. Two different colors, not particularly uncommon, but all the same very pretty. "I am Spiderfang," he told her in monotone, only giving her a fleeting glance, "And as it seems that you will be of no use to me, I should take my leave and let you return to your meal." He took a step back, not wanting to be around this cat. For some reason, she was already bothering him. Perhaps it was just because of the fact that it had been so long since he had seen anyone else other than Clearpaw. He flipped around with the intention of leaving, but instead, turned back as a thought hit him. The nightmare Clearpaw had been having, perhaps, somehow, another cat might know what it could link to. When Clearpaw had described the dream for him the first night it came, he had thought it to be a dream from StarClan (although he was hesitant to admit that perhaps that was the case). StarClan dreams sometimes went to other cats, right? "I doubt you will know, but have you been having any nightmares lately? With dead cats and a river?" he sat down and curled his tail around his paws. In truth, the cats and the river were the only thing that he really remembered from Clearpaw's description. His younger brother could talk fast and it was sometimes very difficult to understand. {Taggged - Ice}

Clearpaw stood in the shelter of the rock, breathing in and out, in and out, until he felt himself calming down. He turned around then, wondering if Spiderfang was around. There was no sign of him. Vaugly, he rembered his older brother waking him up, then mentioning... something. Why was his memory so faulty? Clearpaw settled down and began to swipe his tongue over his white fur, which was standing on end from the frightening nightmare. He could still see the dead cats, piling higher and higher and the starts seeming to be red in the sky. Did that mean that StarClan could die? Clearpaw stopped grooming immediately. That couldn't happen. StarClan couldn't just disappear, could it? Besides, he kind of figured that perhaps he had just been imagining the stars that shade in his dream. Clearpaw stood and shook himself, hoping to somehow shake the dream right off his skin and somewhere deep and dark where it would never again emerge. "We should go," Clearpaw said out loud, trying to make sure to get the idea in his head that both him and Spiderfang would go to the gathering. He hadn't told Spiderfang that yet. He knew his older brother would protest and most likely not come at all. Speaking of which, where had Spiderfang gone again? Hunting... I think he said to go hunting... Clearpaw remembered happily. The idea of a hunt made him rather joyful actually. After a tough night of sleep, hunting would surely wake him up. His stomach grumbled, and he laughed. "Let us go then!" Clearpaw marched forward, hoping it wouldn't take too long for him to find food. He was absolutely starving.

Rabbit

|Tom|22 moons|The Survivor|Currently- Talking with Swan|Feeling- Terrified and surprised|Is with- Swan|

And I listen for the whisper
Of your sweet insanity while I formulate
Denials of your effect on me

Rabbit was creeping up on the mole hole, he had patience and knew how to wait for one. Normally they didn't come out at day, but Rabbit knew how to make them. Soon they wouldn't be coming out anymore because of winter, they would say farewell to the world and would travel through those lonely cravens until the spring would come. Rabbit could not understand why one would desire such a darkness for that long. Rabbit himself valued the darkness greatly. Despite what others may say, it was the best time to be active. If he was planing on going somewhere then he would travel by night. However he needed the sun. He would go mad without it.

Rabbit was so focused on the mole hole that he did not notice Swan approaching him from behind. One can not even begin to describe how scared and how surprised Rabbit was when he felt something give him a gentle poke and a voice spoke out to him from behind. With a screech that sent birds flying, Rabbit spun around in the blink of an eye and swiped the cat with unsheathed claws right across the face as hard as he could. Any nearby could hear the impact his paw made across the she-cat's face. Rabbit then let out a hiss and jump a couple paw-steps back, his fur puffed up to look twice his size to intimidate his foe. Keep in mind this was all reflex. Rabbit quickly studied the cat in front of him. A she-cat of a variety of colors with long ears and whiskers. Her golden-brown eyes didn't seem to hold the aggression he was use to seeing in an enemy, but Rabbit wasn't being completely rational right now, and it was better to be safe than sorry. The only two reasons he hadn't bolted yet was because he wasn't sure if this cat was faster than him and plus this was near his campsite and he had stuff there that he did not want to leave.

Ears flat against his skull and a look of pure fear in his eyes, he gave another hiss.

"W-who are you!? I found this place first! If you want me to leave though...I'll leave by tomorrow okay!? Don't....d-don't you dare try to hurt me."
he spoke with a shaky voice and as if on cue, his legs started to shake as well. This was truly a cat who felt like he was cornered.

(Don't mind at all. :3)

Swan
The creamy-and-brown she-cat spluttered in surprise and leaped backwards, claws unsheathed and teeth bared as the tom unexpectedly whipped around and slashed at her face. Only her reflexes prevented her from getting her muzzle clawed off, and even then the ringing slap swung her head to one side, unbalancing her. A shallow scratch stung her forehead, and she was about to leap right back at the tom.
Mouse-brain! Swan was about to snarl right back when she saw... the tom looked absolutely petrified. His ears were pinned back and his eyes were so wide Swan could see the whites behind the pupil. Swan could even count his ribs.
"Its okay," Swan soothed, bringing up a paw to show the claws were sheathed. "I don't want to chase you out, hurt you or attack you." Her eyes softened and she made her voice earnest. "I... noticed you seemed to be having a hard time. Are you okay? Do you mind telling me what happened if that would comfort you?"
She remembered she still had the half-eaten fish, and she nudged the juicy remains of the prey towards the tom, trying to prove her good intentions.
"My name is Swan," she offered. "And who are you?"

(LOL, don't worry. Its not bad at all.)

Sparrow

Sparrow mewed a muffled agreement and gestured to the dead bird lying in the dust. "Its all yours," he wheezed, paws pushing the she-cat off. "Sorry I came into your territory."
Much to his relief, he was let up, and for a moment Sparrow simply stood there, grooming the dust vigorously from his soiled pelt. He was acutely aware of the she-cat watching him; never knew the ladies could fight so well, he thought wryly.
Suddenly, it was as memory hit him right in the nose. He whipped back around and studied the she-cat again. There was something about her that was acutely familiar... her gleaming eyes, the angle of her shoulders, the pattern of gray on her pelt...
Then he remembered. He had seen this she-cat in his dream.
It was one of cats in the prophecy!
For a moment he stared, then he whispered, half to himself, "I know you. You are the Fighter."

GingerRose was easily navigating the woods around her when she caught the scent of a cat approaching rather quickly. She sensed the cat in front of her before she saw it. Before she had time to move she was knocked over by the other cat. She quickly scrambled to her feet and saw the faint blur of a cat in front of her. She took a step closer and the cat came into full few, at least in her right eye. It had no tail and only 3 legs, it's fur was a brownish color and orange colored eyes. It was defiantly a she-cat. GingerRose felt almost a sisterhood with this cat suddenly. Life could not be easy or have been nice to this she-cat who seemed to not only have a battered body but a slightly battered sprite as well. The she-cat quickly apologized. Seeming to think GingerRose would yell at her or worse the she-cat then turned away starting to leave. She grew blurry in her vision and GingerRose quickly walked forward.

"Wait." She said, catching up to the she-cat. "It is no matter running into me, I should have been watching what was in front of me as well." She walked next to the cat. "My name is GingerRose, what is yours?" She asked. She was hoping to find someone she could travel with. After all traveling alone was not as fun as it would seem. "Are you traveling alone?" She added wondering if this cat had family or friends, maybe even a clan near by. She didn't sense or smell any though so she figured this she-cat was all alone.

STUMBLE (FOOT)•
Mood: Relieved • With: GingerRose • Doing: Talking

Stumble stopped and waited for a moment or two at the sound of the ginger she-cat's voice, flicking her ear to acknowledge that she had been paying attention due to her lack of a tail to wave. She smiled lightly, although it seemed like she was too quick to trust this strange cat. A random feline, out in the woods alone, not doing any hunting or being generally productive in any way, was always most likely a threat. For now, though, this was one of the last things on Stumble's mind. She was mostly just excited that she got to meet someone new and perhaps make a new friend or at least an acquaintance of sorts. It was a nice change, listening to the sound of GingerRose's smooth voice rather than the all-too familiar rumbling of her brother's deeper male vocalizations.

Nodding her head softly in respectful submission, Stumble's amber eyes trained themselves kindly on the young newcomer she-cat's polite face.
"My name is Stumble," the cream tabby responded with an amused snort and a playful waving of her amputated foreleg. "I'm terribly sorry if my appearance disgusts or distracts you... I know that it takes most others off guard, but I try my best to continue getting things done just as any cat would. I hope that I am not too disturbing for you to stand much longer."

Stumble smiled again this time as they walked, but her eyes had more of a somber look to them. She always felt ashamed of herself for being so ugly, so abnormal. She tried her best to hide her deformity, but as she grew into adulthood she realized that she should just brush off all of the harsh stares and rude comments as well as she could. Moving on to the next subject at hand, the small she-cat decided that she should just drop on the discussion of her misshapen foreleg. "To answer your other question, I am not alone. I live together with my two younger brothers! They can be a bit of a hassle at times, but to each their own, I suppose. I catch the food, Amber protects us from enemies and watches over us at night, and Celandine finds cures for sicknesses we may catch. We're quite the trio, if you don't mind me saying." Stumble giggled quietly at that last comment, her eyes wandering again as she began to think of her brothers and their strange antics and diverse personalities.

GREY

She stepped off from the bony tom and brought the dust-covered sparrow to her frame with a quic, sharp movement of her paw, although her eyes stayed fixed on the tabby as he groomed his soiled pelt. Then he whipped around and stared at her before whispering in a low voice, "I know you. You are the Fighter." Her lips curled agin and her ears flattened against her skull. She'd been hoping to forget that dream. Some cat's voice had invaded her sleep, whispering words her mother would have called a prophecy. It had called her Greyfeather, of all things. Her tail lashed at the memory. That cat's voice had also called her the Fighter. Grey had shoved it to the back of her mind, putting it down to eating just before going to bed for the night. But if this cat in front of her knew that she was the Fighter, that meant he'd had it too. So she'd have to go to the Great Rock. "Yes, I am," she responded after a few moments, "and you are?" He didn't look like he could be any of the others named...

Feeling Satisfied

DovePaw felt herself grow sad as Small mentioned she was alone. By the look on the other cats face she could see she was not alone by choice. Not like DovePaw who had chose to leave. "I am sorry I asked Small. I don't have nay family with me ether, my mother died when I was born, my father when I became an apprentice. I had no brothers or sisters." She let out a soft sigh. "Anyway the closest I have to family now is CoalFrost." She smiled a little as CoalFrost came back with 3 mice.

As CoalFrost talked to Small DovePaw took the chance to dig into her mouse not thinking about it at all. She was to hungry to play with her food as she had many times before. She glanced at Small as she poked it would her paw and she smiled. "It wont bite you Small." She teased with a small giggle before going back to eating her mouse. She didn't miss CoalFrost's question about her coming and at the confusion in Smalls voice she knew for sure that this cat was not from an sort of Clan. She must have really been 100% Kitty-Pet.

"A quest." DovePaw repeated finishing her mouse and turning to Small again. "Like a journey or a trip I guess. You see I have been having these strange dreams about a Great Rock and 6 other cats, 7 including myself. We are all around it and then my dream ends. CoalFrost is taking me there." Of course DovePaw had no idea that this was all probably even more confusing for Small and she didn't think once that saying she had dreams would scare the other she-cat away. That is when CoalFrost spoke up, probably to help explain things better.

CoalFrost was watching DovePaw eat and then turned to see how Small was fairing before he tucked into his own meal. He smiled amused as she poked at the mouse and seemed to study it. He had met quite a few kitty-pets since not having a clan, but out of all of them he was starting to like Small the best. She studied her mouse before DovePaw teased her about it biting. At the mention of the quest though Small grew confused and said the word as if it were something completely new to her. Out of all the kitty-pets he had met it seemed she was the first to not have heard about clan cats. Or had she? There was only one way to find out.

"Have you ever heard of cats that live in clans in the woods?" He asked, as he laid down near his mouse. "Cats with two names, cats that live by themselves with no two-legs, uh, I mean humans. Cats who hunt for themselves, protect themselves and have to fight of the dangers of many things?" He hoped that the little she-cat knew something of about it. Surely her parents would have warned her of such places. Of course how had she gotten lost? Chasing a butterfly perhaps? Or a fallen leaf? He had seen many a clan kit go missing this way. "I would hope you have, but if not that is what DovePaw and I are. Clan cats, or we used to be. Now we are looking for a new clan. And you are welcome to join us." He would have offered to take the young cat home. Except who knew where that was? Besides he need to get DovePaw to the Great Rock before the first of Winter. "If you have any questions then you are welcome to ask, DovePaw and I have no problem answering them."

Feeling Undecided
Word Count-575
GingerRose smiled a little as the she-cat said her name. Stumble certainly fit the three legged she-cat well. At the lack of any second name GingerRose figured that Stumble was not in a Clan, nor had she ever been or surely she would have said her full name. Unless Stumble was trying to hide something. GingerRose didn't slow her pace or stop to think about it. But now she thought about everything that could happen she wondered if she should be talking with Stumble as much as she was. Of course GingerRose hadn't talked with anyone in over 2 moons. Her life was rather lonely and even of Stumble had a trap it was not like she was putting anyone in danger, just herself. So GingerRose pushed the thoughts away and turned back to the conversation.

Stumble was just saying something about her 3 legs and GingerRose held in a soft chuckle. Oh if only Stumble knew that she couldn't see much of anything with her eyes these days, not without being close that is. If Stumble hadn't, well, stumbled upon her and been close enough to see GingerRose may not have noticed her 3 legs at all. She didn't say anything about her sight yet, she had never told anyone, except a few cats of her old clan, about her blurry vision. Since she could do almost anything a normal cat could she decided never to tell anyone, it was better that way. Still she couldn't let Stumble think that her 3 legs bothered her, honestly even if she could see Stumble clearly she would still have no ill opinion of her. "Don't you worry about such a thing as your leg Stumble. I am not the sort to judge on looks, your leg does not bother me in the least." She cast her gaze toward the other cat for just a moment. They were walking close enough that GingerRose could see her clearly with her right eye. GingerRose had always been glad that when she went mostly blind that her eyes never clouded or looked different, they still looked healthy and bright as they always had. She glanced at Stumbles leg and noticed it seemed different then other cats she had seen with 3 legs. Almost as if maybe Stumble had been born that way. She shrugged it off though and looked forward again.

At Stumble's mention of having two brothers GingerRose felt her own heart long for her two sisters and brother. Could more have been done to save them and the clan from the dogs that had attacked? She doubted it, but it didn't stop her from thinking their could have been something. Those dogs had robbed her of her family, her clan and her sight. GingerRose wasn't one to hate easily, but what she felt toward dogs now put a new meaning to why cats and dogs hate each other. She shook her head free of the thoughts and smiled at Stumble. "It does sound like you are quite the trio. Perhaps I will meet your brothers sometime. That is if you don't mind me sticking around. I haven't talk to another living soul in at least 2 moons. Honestly it is a relief to know I am not the only cat left on earth." GingerRose hadn't thought much about joining anyone. But now that she had the chance to join a little group why not get to know them.

((Sorry this is late. Weekends are always unpredictable for me...))

Small

|She-cat|7 moons|Currently- Interacting|Feeling- Optimistic|Is with- Dovepaw and Crowfrost|

If I can
I'd like to feel it (And try watching out for you)
Your dream, drawn on a white canvas
I can see all of it, from here on out, forever

Small listened carefully to DovePaw. She stared with wide eyes and her jaw dropped from surprise and horror. She couldn't believe it. That this cat's mothered died, and how she didn't have any family either. She didn't understand what DovePaw meant by apprentice, but that wasn't the point! Small couldn't imagine losing her family...well she was separated from them right now, but at least they were still ok. Whimpers started to come from this very caring she-cat and she looked like she was about to cry, or as close as cats get to that.

"No, forget about me. I'm fine. But you....Oh I'm so sorry!" she whimpered and started to rub her eyes with a front paw. Of course this dense cat soon got distracted from this sudden wave of sadness by DovePaw's comment on how her mouse wont bite her. Small once again looked down at her mouse. Could the dead come back and bite? Maybe they could....in a more abstract way. Either way, she notice that both of the other cat's were eating now, so she started to eat herself, thanking the mouse in her head for providing her a meal with his unwanted sacrifice. She liked eating last, or at least waiting for the others to start. She took delicate bites from her mouse, being a polite eater.

Soon DovePaw continued the explanation of the quest, but Small didn't really get it. She was quite confused and had stopped eating to try and make sense of the words. Then CoalFrost soon started talking about cats with two names. Oh how Small was confused. Hadn't DovePaw just been talking about dreams? Now CoalFrost was talking about clan cats? Oh her poor brain. Small slowly turned her head to look at CoalFrost, then to DovePaw. For many minutes, she thought hard about what both of them said. Take one thought at a time. She had never heard of clan cats before but they just sounded like big families to her. Now they were looking for a new big family....Small finally spoke.

"....Ive never heard of clan cats before....So that's kind of hard for me to understand. Sorry. But it's like a big family right? Mama has talked about humans, though I've never seen one. Sometimes they keep cats right? I wonder why..." Her voice trailed off and she couldn't help but shiver. Her brother Moose always told scary stories about humans that she was very sure he made up, but still...Small gave herself a little shake, and continued speaking.

"And I live in the forest too with my family...so would that make my family my own clan? Even though Mama and Dada were the only ones who ever hunted and fought?" she finished with a tip of her head. Small really was a sheltered cat. It really would surprise many to know that she was born in the woods and lived there her whole life. A wild cat that knew nothing about the wild. Not a kitty-pet in the slightest.

But Small's eyes soon lit up and she gave the two a warm smile.

"Either way. Sure! Let's go find a clan." she said cheerfully. This cat wasn't hard to convince at all. She easily believed in everything DovePaw and CoalFrost said. For she was very optimistic, nothing seemed impossible to her....though also maybe you could consider her naive and trusting nature too. She was totally up for going on a quest. Why not? Maybe she'll find her family too! Either way it was better than being alone.

Ice

|She-cat|20 moons|Currently- Interacting|Feeling- Interested and cheerful|Is with- Spiderfang|

I could be fake
I could be stupid
Or you know I could be just like you

Ice had notice that the tom was skeptical of her words. Already, she was creating a careful and personal profile of the tom. She did this with every cat she knew. You could almost say it's her special talent. She had a good memory, never did forget a face. Never will. He seemed tolerant, kinda anti-social, very guarded, eh...nothing that unusual. She listened to his words very carefully. Ice immediately noted that he must have once been a clan cat. Once. Cause there were no clans in this area right now, or she would surly know. Ice always knows what's happening around her so-called turf. He then spoke of her and him parting ways since she was no use. He took a step back and started walking away.

"...Oh." Was all she said, watching him leave with big sad eyes. You could practically here the violins behind her. However, Spiderfang soon turned around and Ice immediately changed her pathetic kitten expression to a sweet hopeful one. He had a question for her. Ice listened very closely, taking in every word he said. Not the best description. Also what kind of cat just asks if you dream about dead cats and rivers? But she could work with this. And indeed. She did have a dream like that. Only once though. And it had not disturbed her much in the slightest. It was just a dream, nothing more. However this cat might...Well this would be interesting. Her smile soon turned into that default sly smile of her's. Ah this could be quite interesting indeed. She walked over to him, once again pressing her body against his, her tail lightly placed over his back. She gave him a wicked side glace with that amberish-green eye of her's.

"Wah...you're kinda rude Spiderfang~. But I'll forgive you. So this dream.....this one you've been talking about...might the dead cats have their eyes gouged out?" She asked casually.

Rabbit

I reach out when i have a confession
I reach out in desperation.
I reach out but no one is listening

Rabbit wasn't sure what to think. He was so sure this she-cat was going to kill him. Everything wanted to kill him. Death, death, death. She was mad, of course for him scratching her forehead. But...her expression seemed to change when she looked at him, and her fur immediately soothed down. Rabbit didn't understand why. Suddenly, to his surprise, the she-cat said it was okay and showed a delicate black paw. She then spoke more words. Words that confused him. Rabbit sadly couldn't think of the feeling those words brought, the feeling was kindness though. Was that how long it's been since this cat experienced kindness? He didn't know what to say and just stood there, shaking. Suddenly, she nudge over to him what looked to be a fish. The fishy smell entered his nose, and Rabbit couldn't help but drool a little. He was starving. Those dreams really had messed up his schedule. In the end, the fish won him over and he chowed down on it like a wolf. Oh the flavor was amazing. How hungry he had been. Had it actually been longer than three days since he ate? He couldn't really remember. Oh those dumb dreams. She listened to her introduction but did not say anything as he was too busy eating the fish.

Once he finished though, he licked his lips and gave the she-cat his attention. Rabbit still looked very wary, but his fur was pretty much down now. A little bit more relaxed now perhaps? Just a bit. So her name was Swan? Rabbit honestly thought it suited her, especially since she seemed to have a talent of catching very good fish. Oh but what if there were juniper berries in it? Rabbit shook his head. He just needed to focus on the cat in front of him. He took a deep breath.

"M-my name...is um....Rabbit...I-I'm sorry I hit you. Feathers turn around from the dagger. Please don't kill me." he spoke this all in a shaky and pathetic voice. This was progress for him though. Rabbit can't even remember the last time he told someone his name, let alone talked to someone.

(on iPad, can't do fancy posts.

Sparrow

At the she-cat's question, Sparrow straightened up and gave his chest fur a few swift licks. "Oh, I'm just a nobody," he mewed. "The name's Sparrow."
He tilted his head to one side. "Yes, you are most definitely Gray... Grayfeather, I presume? Pleased to meet you." He dipped his head in sincere respect to the she-cat, and his past hostility towards her faded away.
His voice softened to a thoughtful murmur and his tail twitched. "So you are the fighter," he mused. Raising his voice, he added, "You are coming to the Great Rock as well, are you?"
I sincerely hope she is, he thought with a sudden alarm. If she truly is one of the prophecy cats, she has to come. The valley would be doomed without her.

Swan

Swan purred softly in amusement. "It is totally alright, I shouldn't have snuck up on you in the first place," she mewed. "And I definitely do not want to kill you."
Though the brown she-cat had calmed down some after the tom had scratched her, some part of her instinct told her to still be wary. The way the tom held his paws as if ready to flee at the last moment, the way his ears were pinned to his skull, the shockingly terrified look in his eyes... something told Swan that this tom had endured something very drastic, and had definitely taken some part of his sanity.
"Do you mind telling me what's wrong?" Swan sat down with her head tilted to one side. "A bad dream, perhaps?" As an afterthought, she added, "The past few days I've been having these very strange dreams. They speak of a prophecy, and of seven cats that are supposed to save the valley or something." Her voice sharpened in curiosity. "Have you been having dreams like that, too?"

loner atm 24 moons looks

The younger tortoiseshell sat down slowly when she noticed Amberleaf was about to explain. She forced herself to calm down so she could listen - obviously her new companion knew more about what was going on than her. Her eyes widened as Amberleaf spoke of her old home. From the way she was talking, it sounded like there were many cats living together. Fire hadn't heard of such a thing before, but being a cat who'd lost her family when she was very young, she was intrigued thoroughly. Her dazzling eyes were wide with wonder and bit of confusion but she ate up every one of the brown-and-white she-cat's words. She was also amazed at this medicine cat job. It sounded like a lot of responsibility put on one cat. This whole Starclan thing sounded silly to her, but Fire had an open mind and listened respectfully. It sounded silly to her because it was new and unheard of here.

Fire tipped her head to one side, wondering what on earth Amberleaf was talking about- Ah yes. The blazing eyes. Wait... Her? Not once in all the times she'd received this dream had she ever assumed that cat was to be herself. She didn't even believe it was for real! She shook her head vigorously. "No....No.. no no it couldn't be me. I don't think so. I'm not special. Maybe another cat with blazing eyes..." she mumbled, convincing herself it would be ridiculous for her to be one of the mysteriously chosen cats. She stood up, but stared at the ground for a few moments, silent. Thinking. Then, she made up her mind. "I'm glad I've met you, Amberleaf. If you really are going to this Solstice meeting, I'm coming with you." Half her mouth curled up in a kind, small smile for the first time in ages. She forgot what it was like having... well, any sort of company. Even if it were a stranger. She looked up at the sky, sucking in a refreshing breath, suddenly excited to go to this meeting by that rock she knew of. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad! She looked down, eyes bright now and happy. "My name's Fire, by the way."

GREY

So this scrawny cat, Sparrow, was not one of the chosen. Swiping her tongue over her lips as she listened to him speak and watched him incline his head in respect, Grey flexed her claws in impatientness. "Of course I am. I've been named in a prophecy. If I didn't every cat would die." While Grey didn't often think of those around her, she had to admit it would be rather boring to have no one to square up against. "Just call me Grey. I'm not Greyfeather." Yet. Ugh, that was such a bad name, a terrible name.
