Vinyl licked her back. "I understand," he said in a soft mellow vice. As he sat beside her he heard his brother. He jumped away from her and he turned his back to see a black, muscle built figure standing in the way, blocking sunlight from reaching the couple. He shook his head and whined. "What do you want now!" he said in a whimper. Vinyl was terrified of his brother.He didn't know what to do. He looked around and pushed Phecea away behind him, just in case a fight broke out between the rival brothers.When his brother got a hold of him, he tried to fight back but failed. Then he felt his brother stomp on his fragile tail. He yelped loudly. Trying to fight back but to scared, to weak to fight the chooser.

Illusion busted into laughter. "Oh brother, how weak to love again." said the handsome brute. He trotted to the couple standing in front of his brother grabbing his neck and slamming him to the ground. He nodded. "Oh brother, weak and pathetic as usual." said the brute with a evil laugh. He stared down at him and he chuckled. He pranced around him like a deer in a field. Mocking his stupid brother and he chuckled and put his large paw over his brothers tail and jumped on it, hearing his brother yelp loudly made him feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Corentine's blood boiled. There she was, left in the dust again. Perhaps there was something wrong with her. She didn't think too much into though; in fact it was impossible with the blood pumping in her ears and keeping her from any logical thought. Yes, it was true she could easily loose her head. Most of the time she could control herself though. Perhaps it was the fact that the beast that kept her from sleep for so long was so causally going about in there territory. She almost wished she had never found out he was the chooser. After a frustrated sigh, she started trotting back to camp. Some water slicked her path up, causing her to wobble slightly. She regained her balance, but after another step, she was sown on her rear end. "ow," She said quietly, biting her lip keep her mouth closed.

Cen smiled a bit. "I guess not, my apologies." A sudden breeze wafted through his thick fur, sending him a sudden chill. His eyes were at rest on the female, but the howl of the wind now captured his attention. The first question he had for the female popped into his head again. "Where did you come from?" It wasn't until later that he realized the question was a bit sketchy. "I mean, what did you see in sweet Alaska that drew you here?" A slight sarcasm laced the edges of his words. It was true, he loved Alaska, but that didn't mean he was happy living there. If given the option, he would be happy living anywhere else. The weather, lack of game, and the Chooser were only a few of the maladies that plagued what would have been a beautiful place to be. [/quote]

Adene listened to Cen's questions. She sighed, then slowly walked out of the water, sitting across from him. Her paws were freezing, and she hadn't even realized. "My old pack came up here. We used to live in somewhere in Canada. But other packs were getting sick and dying. Not to mention they were all being hunted by the humans. My pack had no choice but to move on, so we started travelling to here." Adene's eyes had gone to the ground. "But almost as soon as we started moving, sickness hit our pack. All but me and my friend survived, and that was because we had to run. This illness drove wolves crazy. We got separated at first, but then we found each other again. Not long after that he got shot. But he told me, actually more like ordered me, that if I dwelled on death, that he would come back and make my life horrible andbe mad at me until I shaped up." Adene looked up into Cen's gray eyes again. "It might sound harsh, but it was what I needed to hear. After he dyed, I continued our escape up here. The only survivor of our pack. Seems sad, but I've moved on. No reason to stay stuck with your past when you have life still ahead of you." She didn't give the full version of her history, just enough to explain everything. But it was still long. She gave a small laugh. "I am sorry, I didn't mean to bore you. But, what about you? How did you end up here?" She asked, curiosity in her voice.

Sitka yawned and paced around. Finding his way into a wolf camp. But he didn't care, he did what he wanted. He wasn't one to let anybody get in his way. When he bumped into a female. Corentine. He growled."Excuse you!" he snapped his jaws, though it was his fault. He lashed his tail around in anger and narrowed his eyes. He padded off towards the river, wondering if the pretty female would follow after him. He looked at her from the corner of his eye. The lanky male, he had no manners. He kinda did what he wanted, said what he wanted and had no regrets with it.

Cen blinked deliberately after she finished. He wasn't sure how he should feel about what she said. He was a bit startled by her openness and wasn't sure if she was looking for comfort or just someone to confide in. Either way, he wasn't in the liberty to do so. Clearing his throat, he opened his mouth, ready to preach his life story to her. Just as the first syllable made its way out, he stopped, ending it was a choked "ha". He immediately shut his mouth and looked at the ground with a scowl. "That's a story for later." He said simply. He wasn't quiet sure why he stopped. Maybe he thought his story would scare the female away. It was almost too much for him to remember sometimes. A chilly silence fell between them and he began to get panicky. What was with him today? He felt if sound wasn't in the atmosphere, they would be swallowed up by the silence. He was always one to appreciate it. "Hey, do you want to go for a walk?" He said feebly, looking up at the pretty female with a pleading smile.

Just as Corentine regained her footing, a large object bulldozed into her, causing her to slide back across the slicked ice with an "oof". Turning back around to see who or what it was, a harsh voice broke through the air. Excuse me? He has to be joking... She thought, slightly taken aback by his attitude. And then he just started walking away, leaving Corentine speechless and a bit confused on her rump. After a moment or two, the situation fully sunk in. "OH, you've GOT to be kidding me!" She said sharply, trotting after the male and ready to give him a piece of her mind. She was already having a bad day, and to encounter an entitled wolf like this was something that could only happen to her. "Hey buddy, do you have a problem?" She said after catching up with him.

Sitka snapped his jaws hearing her. "Whats your problem!" said the loner. He turned his glance away from her and he looked into the water, seeing a fish he swiped his paw at it catching it and it flopped from the water. He grabbed it nibbling away on it. Hungry, the lanky male looked at her She was staring at him. "Whats up pretty girl?" said the big yet lanky brute as he lashed his tail around to eat."Ya know, you didn't have to follow me.." he said with a snort. After that he finished up the fish. He licked his muzzle cleaning it off and he looked at her from the corner of his eye. He sat down on the river bank. His feet soaked and lapped at the river water. He stared at her. He had to admit she was stunning.

Merle watched as Illusion ran over to Vinyl, not sure of who to support. Vinyl, the seemingly misunderstood alpha, or his father, the crazy one who depserately wanted revenge. He sighed and continued on his way, feeling numb inside. If Illusion would rather go and make his brother's life a living hell instead of being with Merle, then the pup was fine with that. He had lived alone for three months. He could cope. With one last longing glance over his shoulder at his father, Merle ran off in to the woods as fast as he could, his small black paws thundering against the crispy snow-covered woodland ground. The white layer crunched beneath his paws as he ran, and it made his paws cold, but...He did not notice. He never had done. After a few minutes of running alone, the pup came to a halt, panting hard. His breath transformed in to mist in the cold air as he looked at his surroundings. He looked up at a tall snow topped pine tree, planning how to climb it. Merle crouched down to the ground, fixing his green eyes intently on the lowest branch of the tree, and held his position for a while. Then suddenly he sprang up from the ground and landed perfectly on the branch, neatly placing his paws without stumbling.

The fae smiled. "Okay. It's not my business to pry. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." She said, hoping that the male realized that she wouldn't pressure him. Had she scared him with her story? She scolded herself again. Being so open usually made everyone else she met nervous or leave as well. She just didn't understand why. "Sure. Let's go." She stood and looked at her surroundings to memorize them. She would no doubt be returning to her rock. Then she turned back to Cen and looked at him expectantly. Maybe he had a place set in him mind, and she did not want to come off a idiot when she went in the wrong direction.
