Sedgecreek ♂ | 25 moons | Alone | Patrolling the ThunderClan border

Sedgecreek stood at the top of the ridge, tasting the scents of the forest as the breeze carried them across the border from ThunderClan territory. The wind danced around the thin-framed warrior, whispering words much too complex for the simple mind of a living being to comprehend. His chest swelled as he inhaled deeply, drinking in the rich scents of the moorland. He pricked his ears for any sound that seemed out of the ordinary, but the border was quiet. Satisfied, Sedgecreek turned away and steadily headed toward camp.

Cinderfrost crouched low to the smooth gray boulder in which she perched on, impervious to the gentle waves that lapped at her paws as they crested over the edge of the stone. The sun's rays were only barely creeping over the mountains surrounding the lake, bathing her dark gray fur in pale, dawn light. Her soft blue eyes skimmed the surface of the water and, spotting her prey, her forepaw lashed out and scooped a slippery trout from the water, extinguishing its life with a swift bite. She rested her forepaw on top of the trout, feeling empowered by her kill as any hunter would.

Jaypaw stirred as the feeble rays of sunlight filtered through the canopy of pine trees. His eyelids fluttered and he stifled a huge yawn as he arched his back in a long, satisfying stretch. He scanned the clearing, noting that most of his Clanmates were still asleep. He sat up in his bed, careful not to wake his Clanmates, and began to groom his fur with long, careful strokes.

I will always have a gentle side toward outsiders and different clan cats, but my clan comes before them, therefor I am willing to show my bad side with them if needed. I am not afraid to jump into something dangerous, I was trained to become a brave and determined leader. I am never to shy to stand up for myself or clan, I will do whatever it takes. The two kits had grown up together, not knowing their real mother. When I was old enough, I had become a determined apprentice of Willowheart. After many moons of training hard, I had become a proud warrior named Snowheart. I has grown into a proud and brave warrior, I was told. My fake mother and my real mother had told me and my brother that the medicine cat was our real mother. It was upsetting to up, but we accepted it. One day, Shadowclan had attacked Riverclan. It was a fierce and bloody war. In the process, my mother, my father, and the deputy had all died. It was heart breaking to me. Although, it had made me the deputy. Soon after, our leader had gotten terribly ill and ended up passing away. Making me the next leader."

I had baby blue eyes, which are quite beautiful as I have been told. I have a long fluffy tail, soft fur. The inside of my ears are a seashell pink, so are the pads on my paws. Woooow a very young leader}}

Oddpaw
Tom.Thunderclan.Patrolling Windclan border solo.

Oddpaw kept his paws light on the grass, letting the bushes of the holly bushes he passed tickle his nose. He let out a sneeze, toppling slightly to the side. He twitched his tail in annoyance at himself, but then flicked his ears at the chirping of a blackbird nearby. He hid under the holly bush again, turning his head so he could get a better visual. He watched it, chattering away, practically asking him to take its pathetic life. In one fluid movement he lept, slashing at the birds wings so it couldn't get away. When it was down he went strait for the throat, and then buried his kill to save it for later. He continued towards Windclan, picking up the fresh scent of a Windclan warrior. He crept forward, staying low to the ground, watching the cat who's name he did not know.

Northblaze
Tom.Thunderclan.Assessing clueless apprentice.

Northblaze had seen Oddpaw leave the camp, and followerd swiftly and stealthily behind. He cringed a little at the apprentice's carelessness, but then had to admire the way he went strait for the wings of the blackbird. Suddenly the wind carried the scent of another warrior, a cat he knew well and respected. Fellow deputy, Sedgecreek. He sat aways back so that neither of them would detect his scent, but he kept a sharp eye on Oddpaw to make sure he didn't cause trouble.

Blazeshade
Tom.Shadowclan.In camp

Blazeshade padded into the clearing and examined the fresh-kill pile, noticing it was pitifully small. The clan leader would not be please about that, they should probably start getting the patrols started. Blazeshade looked around, not seeing many cats around. Where was everyone? Usually the clan was bustling at this time. He suddenly spotted the apprentice Jawpaw, and then walked over, his tail in the air. He jerked his head to the fresh-kill pile. "Since your mentor isn't around, perhaps we should go hunting. You in?" He asked, wanting to hear the apprentice's idea.
The future lies before you;
like a field of fallen snow.
Be careful how you tread it;
for every step will show.

They'll judge you by your past;
Which makes it do or die.
Unless of course my darling;
You spread your wings and flii.

Brairpaw
She-cat | 10 Moons | WindClan Apprentice
Awakening from her slumber, the young tabby apprentice slowly rose to her petit white paws with a large yawn. She arched her small back in a long stretch then picked her way out if the WindClan apprentices' den and into the camp clearing. The dawn sunlight washed over her fur as she turned to look around the basically empty camp. Brairpaw slowly twitched her tail tip back and forth as her gray eyes traveled around the clearing, wondering what to do. Should she wait for Sedgecreek to get back to see if he wanted her to do anything? Maybe she should just go out and hunt a little? With a shrug, Brairpaw decided to wait for the deputy to get to ask him what she should do today.

Sedgecreek strolled into the camp, savoring the cool breeze that ruffled his fur. There was a slight chill to the air, a refreshing change from the blistering heat that had been experiencing for the past couple of weeks. A comfortable cloud cover shrouded the sky, making Sedgecreek feel secure and safe. It was the kind of weather you wanted to snuggle up to someone in a warm den to. He scanned the clearing, assessing for any change since he had left, but it appeared that cats were still only just waking up.

Jaypaw's eyes lit up with excitement. "Um, yeah." he said scornfully. "It's about time I got some action around here. My paws are literally soggy from the mouse bile that I've been forced to use." He flicked his tail in contempt, referring to the camp duties he had been confined to since his apprenticeship began.

{{ That would be awesome. Oh, and I got detention tomorrow and all of next week too, so I'll be a little later with my replys after school. }}

Brairpaw
She-cat | 10 Moons | WindClan Apprentice
She spotted Sedgecreek enter the camp and slowly started to pad over to him. Her mixed tabby fur was still slightly messy from sleep because she hadn't bothered to groom it down. What was the point? It was just going to get all messy again when she was hunting or battle training today. "Stegdecreek," Brairpaw called a little softly when she was just a few tail lengths away from the tom, "is there anything you want me to do today?" She took a few more pawsteps towards him, her bright gray eyes looking up at him excitedly.

Sedgecreek halted, arrested by the soft voice of his apprentice. He paused before the apprentices' den, watching her with a friendly air. "Good morning, Briarpaw," he greeted with a nod of his head. "It's a pleasure to see you up so early this morning." His tail flicked behind him and he glanced over at the elders' den, but its residents were still asleep. "Well, if you're feeling up to it, I was hoping to get in some battle training sometime before sunhigh. Would that interest you?"

{{ I "sassed back" to a teacher. The teacher asked me to take a note to another classroom, I asked where it was, and they started saying it was in our Encore hallway, then said it was near the office (that's on the other side of the school from our Encore hallway) then said it was somewhere in the middle of the two. I simply said, "Alright, but it might take me a little while because I don't know the school very well. Where is the office again?" (this school is brand new to me and this teacher knows it) The teacher then said that I was "sassing back" and sent me to the office. Oh, and I broke the dress code by wearing jeans that have a hole in the knee even though there were a few other people who had jeans that looked worse than mine. }}

Brairpaw
She-cat | 10 Moons | WindClan Apprentice
Her excitement slowly rose as she heard her mentor speak. Battle training was always fun, no matter if it was Sedgecreek or another apprentice she was going to be training with. "Yes!" She had wanted to reply at least a little calmly, but instead she answered extremely enthusiasticly and loudly, makinb her voice squeak just the slightest bit. Looking shyly down at the hard ground under her paws for a heart-beat, she tried once again to sound clam, "I mean, yes, it would interest me." Brairpaw returned her gray gaze up to her mentor, smiling.

Sedgecreek suppressed a bemused purr, his whiskers twitching at his apprentice's enthusiasm. "Very well," he said with a flick of his tail. "Let's be off then. Unless otherwise mistaken, I believe we should have the training hollow to ourselves this morning." Without another word, the WindClan deputy slipped through the gorse that served as a protective barrier around the camp and stepped out onto the moorlands. He led her apprentice across the field, toward the shallow dip in the earth beneath the only tree on WindClan territory, the earth soft beneath his paws. He glanced over at his apprentice. "Alright, Briarpaw. This is your first fighting lesson, so we'll start off with something simple. All I want you to do is practice your reflexes. We will have a small play fight. Claws sheathed." He stepped closer to her, his breath billowing like a frozen cloud in the frosty morning air. "I will merely be using defensive maneuvers. You will be trying to unbalance me with your paws and I will try to duck. The more we practice, the better feel you'll have for your instincts. Are you ready to give it a try?"
