On her way to the river, a sound caught Alex's attention. A wolf howl. She froze, noting the howl had come from the direction of the very river she was traveling to. She quickened her trot into a fast lope, ears pressed forward. Suddenly, the sound of water broke through the rest of the forest noises. She attempted to stop, only to find herself slipping on the snowy ground. She let out a yelp as she lost her footing, tumbling along the ground, straight into a fae. She had reached the river; and found the wolf who had been howling. Slightly dazed, she got to her paws and leaped back, hostile eyes staring at the wolf. "You howled?" she demanded, narrowing her eyes at Twister.

Twister heard something coming towards her. It came at a fast pace, was it in a hurry to find her. Letting out a low growl as a wolf came into view. When the wolf clearly a fea asked Twister a question. Her only answer was, "Yes. I howled to see if there was a pack nearby that I must avoid." What would happen if this female was part of a pack. She was not looking for a pack, nor wanted to join one.

Alex let loose a short warning rowl as the other fae, too, growled. "There are two packs here. North and Incandescent," she snapped in reply, ears tilting back slightly. "This isn't their territory, of course; Why would a loner such as myself take any chances wandering onto their land? They'd kill me just as easily as they would a rabbit," she added arrogantly, dark eyes still locked onto this new wolf.

Dagger growled out towards Jekyll's immature and ignorant manners. He would not grant clemency out of the kindness of his heart, to only be dealt with in such a rude manner. Not only did it show disrespect, it also showed foolishness. Only an idiot would disrespect an Alpha on his terrain, having wolves at his disposal. "I expect manners to be shown, Jekyll. Ignorance is valued by few, and not tolerated by many," Dagger told the young wolf as he padded off. It was a silent warning, learn the boundaries or have to deal with an angry Alpha as well as an angry pack. An entire pack after your hide was not something one would want happening to them. In fact, death was the usual result.

Dagger opened his mouth to spew more wise words, when the scent of an unknown male flooded within his senses. His nostrils flared, as the overgrown wolf turned around. He was met with a male and from the smell streaming in from his nose, it was from the enemy pack.

A low growling noise began crashing through Dagger's chest as he stepped fowards. Similar to a human smacking away a hand asking for a handshake, Dagger brushed off this brute's greeting. "State one good reason as to why I should not have your hide, Tresspasser," Dagger inquired calmly, although his lips remained exposed, showing off gleaming fangs.

Calypso smiled generiously once Demon accepted her offer. It would be quite nice to take a stroll with the male, able to show him the borders and what was what. It was a necessity for life within the pack. Who else fit to give the male a tour then herself?

And so Calypso dipped her head slightly, orbs alit with mischief. Perhaps she would play with Demon a bit, see how far his boundaries went. Teasingly, of course. "Right this way then, grand Warrior," Calypso purred, starting off towards the dens.

Twister was taken back by such talk. Her eyes studied this lone fea for a bit. "Well then!" her answer short but snappy. "I best be on my way." Twister turned on her heels and trotted away. Her tummy rumbled a warning. She raised her muzzle to the sky above and took in a been breath, looking for a kill she could steal.

Alex frowned, trotting after the strange fae. Her ear flicked as she registered the sound of a grumbling stomach. Alex tilted her head, considering for a moment. Then she sighed. "My friend Oki and I have food. A young buck elk. It should last us a while; Your welcome to come back with me and eat, if you wish," she offered gruffly. Mostly she was being sort of nice because she knew it would be easier to survive with three wolves working together. There was no guarentee that Twister would come back with her, let alone stay, but it seemed right to offer.
