The light colored beauty blinked as her eyes opened and she started to breath normally.Her fur was sleek and shiny.She then stumbled to her paws sighing bowing her head to the water mumbling something and leaving her snout there.Emotionless yet sort of depressed,she wondered if Illusion would ever let her have a mate.Probably not,she thought to herself breathing the scent of the cool water.It was a tad salty.

Illusion smirked. "Ah, so you don't like me, I figured," he mumbled under his breathe. Most wolves didn't. He cleared his throat and tilted his head. "What did you wish to ask me about?" he said with a curious glance towards her. Wondering what she had to say. Maybe it was about his rules with mating, or why he disliked himself? Who knew. She seemed curious. He snorted and he laid on the river bank, the cool water lapping at his handsome large body.

Illusion looked over at her and nodded. "I understand, I myself have no friends either, a alpha. With no friends, its just a little odd. I just don't enjoy letting anybody in.." he said and turned his eyes to her. "Ah, love. What a pathetic, meaningless word." said the onyx brute laying in the waking tide of the river currents. He sighed placing his head in his paws. "Its a long story, so listen," he said with a smirk. He yawned and shook his head. "Well, I honestly never told anybody of this. I, I use to be in love, once." he said and he looked towards the river. Hate burning in his eyes. "But, she cheated on me, and I couldn't do anything about it.. but kill her." he said in a heartless tone. He stood up dripping wet. "And, when I was a loner from then on I met a female, we were partners in crime. When she and I got lost and separated. I was being hunted down by my old pack and they found her, and forced her to live in the pack. When I went back to save her from the wretched wolves.. She was flirting with my brother." He said and looked over to her. His emotionless face. "Love here will not be permitted, and for me? I won't dare love again," he said and turned away from her. "When my time as alpha ends, there will be no alpha anymore. It will be over, my reign, my family, my generation carried. It will be over."

Illusion nodded taking to her. "I hate being tied down, and forced to be lovey dovey." he said and snorted. "Pups, I always wanted some," he said with a sigh. He looked at her and smirked. "To impress me, eh. I guess someone would have to win me over by battling me in a fight and winning," he said lashing his tail around. "Now that, that'd be lovely." he said with a chuckle. "Nobody ever tried it because nobody knows how I am." he said and shrugged. "I'm cold,and harsh. And it won't change, honestly. If I loved again I would flirt with that mate, but I wouldn't rely on it." he shruggedd and snorted.UHe just wanted someone to care for and have someone there for him when needed. The brute shook his head.

LEO - HUNTER - MALE

Leo watched the conversation with Illusion and Nova unfold, he began learning more and more about Illusion just by this... He never noticed how much his alpha's past affected his now life. He flattened his ears, worried, he backed off from the crime scene, crouching low, he whimpered quietly, stepping backwards. A sharp twig, right behind his hind leg, stabbed at his paw, causing him to whimper more loudly, the twig broke. Leo looked back at those two and ran as fast as he can.

Illusion snickered. "Looks like, we could be good friends. If you ever wanted too." the large brute built in muscle heard the whimper and growled and lashed his tail around. He shrugged. "Its whatever," he rolled his eyes. "Probably some heart broke female," he said and looked at her. "You don't even know how annoying it is. All these females want me as there mate just to be alpha." he said and he followed the scent trail of the wolf who was spying, Leo? Leo! But why? He shrugged. Illusion was attracted to Nova, a lot. She was dark and strange. Like himself, strange and unusual. He turned his glance to Nova. "I want someone, just to care for me and not my rank. If I was a omega, then it'd all be different." he turned to her. He wanted to fight her, and wanted her to win. Why did he care for her like that. He pinned his ears back thinking for a moment.

Illusion nodded. "Love is just, I don't think it'll happen." he said. His scars across his muzzle gleamed out, stuck out like a sore thumb. He turned to her. "But i'm sure you'll find someone," he said with a half hearted smile. "I think you're great so far," he said lashing his tail around. "Your attitude, and the way you act towards others is great, I cannot deny that." he said and stopped the movement with his tail. Wondering what Leo wanted but shrugged. "Not trying to flirt, don't take it the wrong way. Just a little compliment." He said holding his head high and sniffing the air. "So, I was wondering if you'd care for a hunt?" he said, emotionless but with a small smirk.

Illusion looked at her and flicked the tip of his tail. He backed away for a moment and smelled a elk, and then scented a cougar. He snarled and his fur bristled on ends. "Think you'd have fun with a cougar?" he said snarling in angry. He hated those nasty cats, they killed just to kill. If they got into the territory, who knows what would happen. He turned his glance to her and snorted with a heavy growl.

In a trance, Leo ran to camp, looking around, wondering where to find Tribal, huffing, he ran over to the healer's den. Spotting Tribal there, he entered, slowly approaching the brute. Leo snapped out of the trance, but he didn't know why he ran over to Tribal, maybe it was because he wanted to report to him. He shook his head quickly to get that thought out of his mind. Wondering what to do now that he encountered Tribal. He groaned at his thick headedness, he decided to cough up a conversation,"Sooo... how are you doing now? I'm sorry about earlier.."

Corentine awoke to unfamiliar surroundings. She was in a cold, dark cave. Her heart beat sped up briefly as she tried to recall how she got there. The last she remembered was talking with a large black wolf. What was his name? She racked her thoughts, physically gritting her teeth. If she couldn't remember, she could possibly be in a very dangerous situation. His face flashed through her mind once more and she remembered. It was Illusion. She must have passed out on the way to the cave and he dragged her the rest of the way. Or perhaps she did manage to make it here, but collapsed as soon as she was given the opportunity. One thing remained though, and that was her unquenched hunger. It was begining to physically pain her, but what was worse than that was her swollen tongue. Food could wait. She needed something to drink. Clumsily tripping out of the cave, she blinked, trying to get used to her surroundings. She couldn't see any other wolves around, which made her worried. She set her nose to the air, trying to find any scent of the male that was her missing lifeline. She caught hold of something and took to it quickly. Luckily her nose didn't fail her, or she would be in deep trouble. She saw him sitting near another female and they were just... talking. Her head began to get hot as she glared at he pair. She was literally dying and he still found the time to fraternize with females? No love allowed, eh? She thought bitterly as she moved in on the pair, replacing her grimace with a sly smile. "Illuuuuusionnnn," She said, purposely stretching out his name. When she knew she captured his attention, she took on a hard expression once again. "I believe you got a bit sidetracked." Her words were unusually hard for asking a favor of her lifeline, but she was desperate and irked.
