The brown-pelted tom twitched slightly in his sleep, eyes rolling beneath the lids. A stray ray of dawn-light suddenly broke through the den entrance, startling him awake.
"Wha- ?" Sparrow rolled over, large amber eyes opening, before he flopped back onto his stomach with
a groan. Why does it have to be morning?
Well, nothing to it, he thought grumpily, before he stood up and stretched, feeling his muscles expand.
Feeling a bit better, he picked his way through his sleeping fellow apprentices and padded out into the clearing,
blinking sleepily in the sunshine.
It seemed no other of his Clanmates were awake. Should I wake up Chataluka for today's training? the
apprentice thought doubtfully, glancing at the soldier's den. They were supposed to do battle training today.
"Has the dawn patrol left yet?" he wondered aloud. Shrugging nonchalantly, he lay back down on the
sun-warmed grass and began to groom his fur with vigorous strokes of his tongue.

With a large yawn, the tall white tom stretched from his nest. His muscles flexed and relaxed with a satisfactory shudder, his claws digging into the earth as he awoke from a deep, dreamless slumber. His tail waved back and forth, unable to really twitch in a quick way since the tip of his tail was permanently paralyzed and therefore useless. Thinking of his tail, he was suddenly reminded of his training with Sparrow. Battle training today! We better get going before it is too late in the day or it starts to rain. Quickly leaving his bedquarters, Chatuluka hurried down the short slope to the center of the clearing.

After a hasty wash, Luka shook out his fur and scanned the clearing for his young apprentice. Finally after what seemed like a whole leafbare, the brown tabby tom came into view. "Sparrow!" Luka called briskly, hurrying over to his apprentice and gazing sternly down at him. "It is time to begin your training. Your fur doesn't have to look pretty for me, alright? You can finish your washing later on. For now, we need to go to the training hollow before sunhigh."

Smiling softly as she watched her brother come out of the Soldier's den in a flustered rush, Akila finished off her morning meal and began cleaning off her pelt and face at a leisurely pace. To clean her forepaw, the process was a bit more tedious. Balancing back on her haunches, the tailless cat used her core muscles to keep herself upright as she cleaned out the spaces between her claws. Quickly finishing off the cleaning of her soft pelt, the three-legged tabby stood and hobbled over to Lancaster, the oldest of the three gatherers."Good morning, Lancaster," she called cheerily, purring contentedly as the clan awaited their plans for the day. Her amber eyes settled on the gray tom, a soft smile pulling at her lips.

Amunet lifted her head in a relaxed way and leisurely flicked her tail back and forth.Her deep blue eyes scanned the area as she saw Chutuluka storm out of the solider den in a huff, and frowned, her eyes filled with concern.She was indeed a healer,but when she saw that he was just in a hurry to see to his apprentice's training.She smiled when she saw his sister reach to same way, she chuckled.Toms, can't they see life isn't just an epic of quests and bravery, for one to truly enjoy life's plentiful bounty, you need peace.
When Shifted her paws from under her and stood, with content glance back at her well stocked herbs and began to lightly pad over to Akila.She sat down beside the tabby she-cat and saidHe's a bit enthusiastic today her tail lightly tapped on the hard earth around her as she sppoke

Abasi looked with hard eyes across the clearing and smiled ounce her eyes reached Sparrow, his mentor was sure focused today.She gave a Muurrow of laughter when she saw him being scolded.She got up with heavy paws and walked over to stand by him.After training you wanna meet up with some of the other apprentices and do something fun Her grays eyes searching him with a slight competitive gleam shiny but it was mixed with a friendly gaze.

Fury chuckled lightly at her correction. "Whatever makes your day sweetie." the flirtatious tom grinned, taking the vole and finished the small prey in another bite. Swiping his tongue over his jaw the tom rid himself of any bloodstains and performed a quick and efficient grooming. Piling the bones on the side the tom rolled over with his belly facing up to stare at the sky. "What's so fascinating up there that captured your interest?" he meowed curiously, tail flicking from side to side. The sky had always been the sky to him. A large, blue expanse filled with fluffy white things called clouds. Nothing special. Yet some cats would often stare at it, comment on it's great beauty (where?) and how much they admire the changing colors of the sky. But the sky had always been that way ever since the beginning of time. Was there anything to wonder about?

Lynne lie down on her back. She reached for one of the vole's bones and examined it. "I could use this... don't let anything go to waste." She smiled, then looked up at the sky, watching the clouds form and pass as Fury asked her why she was so interested. She shrugged, trying to find the right words. "I don't know," she said, hesitating. "When I see the clouds and the birds up there... I just can't help but sit down and watch. It's a weird instinct, I guess." She smiled, looking back down at the noble. "I've heard of something called an Aurora Borealis. Cats have said that its almost too amazing to put words on. But they said it's like an explosion of colorful slivers of light in a faraway sky. If you were to ask what my dream was, I guess it'd be that, to see it." She shrugged. "I guess I didn't explain enough," she winced playfully.

The tortoiseshell nodded his head in silence, watching the sky. Though he didn't share the same opinions as his companion (the sky is still the sky no matter how you try to look at it) he could appreciate her different views. Perhaps it was just another trait of the feminine species. That they are able to imagine, appreciate things toms couldn't. That was probably why he was a noble and not a crafter. "The Aurora Borealis..." he echoed after her. He had never heard of such lights and from her description it sounded pretty amazing. Though he highly doubt the she-cat would ever find the aurora borealis in this night sky, the fascination and wonder in her voice made him smile at the thought. "I can fill in the details with my brilliant imagination, you don't have to worry about me." he chuckled lightly, then turned to the side to stare at Lynne. "Would you like to travel out of camp one day then? To visit this light show?" he asked curiously.

Lynne listened to Fury, patting her tail slightly on the dirt as she lay on her back. At his proposal, she looked over at the noble quickly, surprised. "That would be so great. But I would have no idea where to start. It would be my dream, like I said," she mewed, slightly blushing after repeating herself."You would do that? For me?" She mewed, surprised, as she tossed some of the useful parts of the bare carcass onto her pile of tools.

The calico tom shrugged at Lynne's question because honestly, he don't know where one would find these strange lights as well. "You could start from here. Keep walking and traveling and one day you'll probably reach that place with the lights." he meowed, ears flicking against his head as he tracked the movement of a cloud. He turned to Lynne at her excited tone and raised one eye curiously as his lips curled upwards in a smile. "I would do anything for a she-cat." he chuckled lightly, tail flicking over to twine over hers seductively. "Would you like to see to what lengths I'm willing to go to satisfy a she-cat's happiness?" he purred, winking suggestively at the tortoiseshell beside him teasingly.

Oh no. He hoped he didn't oversleep. He heard his name and glanced over to see Akila. "Good morning m'lady," he said, dipping his head politely. She gave her a toothy grin and twitched his tail, before hearing his name once more, this time for Syk.

Lace was looking for him? He grinned. Good. His apprentice was eager to train. He dipped his head to Syk. "Thank you," he said,before glancing around for the younger she-cat. He didn't have to look far, she was already in the den. He purred contentedly and padded up to her. "Nice to see you're up early," he commented, twitching his whiskers and licking her ear politely.
