Ears twitching when he heard all the patrols returning and the noise level increasing rapidly. Still with eyes closed the white tom sighed loudly - his nap had been just too short. Holding his paws over his ears Stormwing tried to lower the noise - without success. Cursing silently he sat up, angry that he never could take a nap - even he needed a good sleep so good. The last two moons had been horrible. Not only all the things about the prophecy - and it turned around that his healing abilities had been increased, meant that he had earned Whisperhearts Healing too. But also Cedarstars death had hit the Clan very badly. First their deputy Ashfall and just a few days later Cedarstar in the flood. But with Hawkstar DuskClan had earned a wonderful and strong new leader, even Stormwing couldn't oversee that he still lingers with his new powers as leader - but the medicine cat was sure that he would turn out to be maybe a better and stronger leader as Cedarstar had been - later once.
Rising the white furred tom looked around, it seemed that Goosepaw had left the den after his mentor had ordered him to sort out the rotten herbs - what he had done pretty good after the scent, the storage are spreading. Shaking his head and stretching his back Stormwing only gave his fur a few licks before he left. The camp was full of cats settling down to eat before the big ceremony. There would be a few apprentices to receive their warrior name later. Smiling the skinny tom walked over to Hawkstar. "I want to talk to you later, when you finished the ceremony. There are a few things that are important to speak about - just in case. And I would be pleased if you could tell the others from the prophecy to join. I first have to search my apprentice." Nodding and leaving the tabbys side again Stormwing turned around climbing up a little rock. "Goosepaw! Would you please be generous enough and join me?" he called out loudly over the whole camp, too tired to search him directly.

The patrol had been very exhausting, but gladly they had nothing to report back - at all nothing serious. Just a stale fox scent, but it seemed like he just had stray around for a bit before leaving further to the east, away from the Clan territory - which was really great. On the back the russet she-cat had been glad enough to catch a mouse that had stopped not far from the patrol. With the mouse hanging from her jaws the young she-cat entered the camp, alongside the others. Adding the mouse to the fresh-kill pile, before picking herself a vole and searching a nice place to sit down. Looking around Riversong searched for the silvery tabby pelt of Silentstorm. It took time but the she-cat had discovered her feelings for the tom rising over the days and now she really could say that she had really fallen in love with him - and it was the best that could ever happened to her. Her nose telling that he just had arrived the she stood up again, waving with her tail, for him to come over - his eyes unable to hide the joy about seeing him again. "Silentstorm! Over here. I have picked us something nice."

The hunting patrol had been really successful. Proudly Melody carried her own prey - two mice and a vole - at the pile. She really hasn't thought that her life would change in such a fantastic way. One day she just had been the loner, straying around. On the other she had found a home. Cedarstar had welcomed her very friendly and so did - most of the Clan too. Only Fogpaw and Thunderpaw had been very suspicious at her for the first days, but since she had to learn the ways of the Clan as student of Wrenfeather alongside Fogpaw the two finally get over their - starting problems - and the training sessions had been more and more fun. Most of her training - which mostly included learning the way of the Clan and a few new moves for battles and hunting - had been with Wrenfeather, since Hawkstar had pretty much to do as the new leader. To her StarClan had been very doubtful first, she just couldn't believe what this would mean to all her dead friends and family - but with Hawkthunder returning from his ceremony as Hawkthunder she lost all her doubts, eyes filled with stars and his whole appearance had something strange mystical about it, that there hadn't been any reasons to doubt any longer. The same day she joined she had met Shatteredstorm and it turned out that she had been living in the same twolegplace Melody had been born to - which was really funny in a way.
Training with Wrenfeather had just be lovely, he was such a kind hearted tom - and maybe the only one in the Clan who didn't immediately was angry about her humour (even she really did her best to hold herself back - sometimes not really successful, but she tries) and laugh about her chaos. Just too easy Melody remember herself of the many times she did something chaotic like falling into the freshkill-pile, or running into brambles and coming out with leaves all over her fur, or trying to get honey and ended being hunted by bees - or what ever.
For a moment the ginger tabby she-cat really had fallen deep in memories when a soft voice brought her back. Looking at her side she saw the right into the pleading emerald gaze Wrenfeathers that had went to be so familiar to her. Even she hadn't listened to his words - what she actually often did, of course not on purpose - but the rabbit in his jaws and his gaze said enough. Smiling the she-cat followed him to the sunny place he had chosen. Settling down Melody really hoped he missed her blushing when her fur brushed at his. Within the two moons she had really started to enjoy to be at the toms side, everything always had been so easy with him. "mhhh, what do you want? I don't mind as long as I get at last one paw. They should bring luck - maybe for me too, but when I think about it. This guy one had four of them and no luck - well maybe no legs for me, then" she mewed, a big smile warming up her face when Melody felt that she was babbling again. Amber orbs somehow glowing cheerful.
