n a m e -- monkey was named for his talent for finding a way to climb every object in his old apartment.
g e n d e r -- as you can probably tell, monkey is a male.
a g e -- monkey is a fairly young cat, at the age of about 1 1/2 years.
h o m e -- right now monkey lives in the city, and hasn't found a permanent home yet, preferring to sleep wherever he ends up when he's tired.
g r o u p -- monkey is living alone for now, but the city is a harsh place for a small, young cat such as himself, and eventually he'll have to join up with other cats.
d e s c r i p t i o n -- monkey, in a nutshell, is an undersized, scrawny, lanky legged cat. one key trait are his larger than average ears. he has very short gray and white fur, accented by golden eyes, which he considers his best feature. his long legs make him a surprisingly fast runner, and a good climber, but he only runs when motivated (usually being chased).
p e r s o n a l i t y -- monkey is a meek cat, preferring to run rather than fight, and tends to avoid contact with other cats unless necessary. but, he isn't dumb, and he knows he'll probably need other cat's help eventually. he generally seeks out the safest, easiest way to do everything, and generally is a bad self-motivator. he is a little paranoid, having been startled out of hiding places many a time. he isn't used to being around other cats much, and doesn't care much for them, preferring to look out for himself unless forced to do otherwise.
h i s t o r y -- he was born in the city as a pet cat, and lived with his owner in a tiny apartment and was never let outside. it was a good life, although he was only comfortable around his owner. whenever she brought guests over he would run as fast as could as far as he could. on an unusually hot fall day, his owner opened the window. she had a friend over for dinner who brought his new puppy. monkey went straight out the window and into the city. he never found his way back to his home, and has been braving it alone on the streets ever since.

---------------------- l a r k

n a m e -- lark was named for the small bird common in the trees of her father's home.
g e n d e r -- lark, is female, as can be told by her delicate manner.
a g e -- lark is around 2 years old, and so is still very agile.
h o m e -- lark lives in the forest, with the other larks. she generally sleeps in the trees, coming down to hunt.
g r o u p -- lark lives alone, being a fairly stealthy, mysterious type cat.
d e s c r i p t i o n -- lark is an average sized she-cat, with a rather plain brown tabby pelt. her yellow eyes are fairly average as well. however, she is quite a beautiful, graceful cat, as can be told by the way she holds herself. don't let it fool you, her claws are as sharp as any tom's. however, she is a little clumsy on the ground, which is incredibly embarrassing.
p e r s o n a l i t y -- lark likes to hold a certain air of mystery about her at all times. she feels this is necessary for a cat who lives above the territories of other cats. she spends most of her days in the trees, coming down only to hunt or give another cat a piece of her mind. she is surprisingly aggressive, and has a tendency to solve problems with her claws. most smart cats stay away from her. her biggest pet peeve are annoying, flirty toms. she also has a very arrogant, condescending attitude towards city cats, calling them soft and saying they have it the easy way. no alley cats run into her and leave without a claw mark in their side. she believe strongly in "forest blood", and especially hates cats with obvious house cat origins, such a siameses, persians, and other distinctive breeds never found in the forest. she is insecure about her own heritage, and uses this mysterious, intimidating front to reassure herself.
h i s t o r y -- lark was born to an alley she-cat and forest tom. her mother moved to the forest to be with her mate, and they had a kit together. she was named lark after the forest home of her father. although forest-city relationships aren't strictly banned, her mother still found it difficult to care for her kit in the forest, as she was a poor hunter. so, she brought her to the city, where food in the way of human garbage and hand-outs was abundant. however, her mother had settled in the territory of a gang of cats, who drove her and her kit, now about 7 months old and not really a kit anymore. her mother didn't survive the attack, and urged her daughter to learn to defend herself, and go back to the city where food was easily accessible. lark learned to fight and hunt to prevent what happened to her mother from ever happening again, but had developed a hatred for the city, and so stayed in the forest and held a grudge against city cats.
