(I'm so sorry I haven't been on that much, I got really caught up with school and everything)
Serene sniffed the air and sneezed lightly ''all so mixed up'' she muttered. The she-cat shook her head as Katie offered her some of the food ''no thank you, sweet. Jay and I had just eaten, and besides we prefer to hunt our prey'' she mewed, swishing her long tail. Jay perked his ears up at his sister's sneeze and couldn't help but to smile a little. The wind swished his jet black fur aside as he blinked his sightless blue eyes. ''we gonna look for that shelter or not?'' he asked, gruffly. Not waiting for an answer, the black tom stood up and stretched a little. He started walking down the alley, almost tripping over a bottle. Jay gave a hiss, 'how is it that most of this human trash doesn't have a smell!' he thought, irritatedly.
Alaska panted, her tongue lolling out of her mouth as she looked around for any cars, before crossing the road quickly. She felt the ground shaking and ran for it, making it to the other side just as the huge truck passed. Her long blue merle fur was slightly dusty, but the female shrugged it off 'I'll jump into a lake when it's warmer' she thought to herself, as she padded into another alley, looking down at the ground boredly.
Kai sat down and scratched himself behind the ear, he shook his fur out and continued walking. He looked behind him for a moment. As he turned his head back around, he came nose to nose with a fox. Kai jumped back, surprised and growled lowly at it. The fox didn't seem afraid of him, it's fur was slightly torn and Kai could see it's ribs clearly. It was holding a piece of chicken in it's jaws and Kai had just interrupted his meal. Looks like this fella wasn't giving up his food. It bared it's teeth as the Australian Shepherd, Husky cross and suddenly lunged for Kai's throat. Kai jumped back and swatted it aside with his large paw and barked, growling loudly. The fox managed to bite him in the shoulder, before Kai bit hard on it's tail and sent it fleeing down the alley. The male grunted and snarled after it ''And don't come back!''
