K A T I E

Katie padded sadly through the alleys, not knowing where Jake was and just wanting her owners. She whimpered, tears streaming down her face, tail low, and ears pinned back. The female pup sniffed in the damp smells of autumn, leaves crunching beneath her paws. Katie waded through deep and shallow puddles, hoping that a cat or dog or person would find her... Just someone nice.... Someone to calm her down.... Someone to find her a nice dry shelter to keep cozy in. Just something to satisfy and lift the spirits!!!

[Kyouya]

Serenity padded down the alley, brushing her brother's fur softly. She waved her tail and sniffed for any signs of prey, Serene didn't usually look into the human trash dumps for food, she was used to hunting her own. She looked around for a moment, they needed to find shelter soon. A small breeze whipped past her, carrying the scent of mouse, the she cat was about to crouch into a stalk when she realized Jay was already onto it. The black tom stalked towards the metal cans, sniffing intently and pricking his ears. Despite that the can was made of metal, which didn't really have a smell, Jay could scent the odor of human trash from miles away.

He stalked around the trash can easily, sensing the mouse was close enough, he swatted it with his paw and killed it swiftly. Jay rolled the mouse around sniffing for any sickness and whether it was safe to eat. It was small, he figured, but it would do for now. He picked it up carefully and carried it to his sister, dropping it at her paws.

Alaska rose to her paws and yawned, it was rather chilly today but the female's longer fur kept her nice and warm. She knocked down a trash can with her head, wrinkling her nose at the disgusting smell. She was rather picky, and wouldn't eat food it it looked or smelled too old, in fact she preferred to hunt her own although she wasn't very good at it yet. She pawed the lid open and all kinds of things spilled out. She noticed a cardboard box and sniffed 'mm that smells nice' she thought and used her teeth to tear it open, noisily. 'Pizza' she recognized the food as her old owner liked to eat it quite a lot and always used the word for it. It was only half eaten, Alaska gobbled it up in a few seconds, she hadn't had a proper meal in days. She licked her chops and sat down, sniffing the air for danger or company for that matter.

Kai laid down on the cold ground, resting his head on his paws for a moment. He gave a low growl at a raccoon which strayed much too near for his liking. It scuttled away fearfully, as Kai gave contemptuous snort. His stomach growled in hunger and the male stood up, turning into another alleyway to look for food and shelter

Katie whined again, her tears continuing to fall. She padded forward, and smelt cats- two, to be exact. The pup licked her maw, padding in their direction. She padded down many alleys, soon finding they were further away than she thought. Katie sighed, and kept on turning corners and turning back around in the direction she came from to find them. Finally, she saw two cats, a tom and she-cat, and trotted over. Katie looked down shyly, and sat. "Umm.. Hi." She said, her ears still pinned.

Partners as in a dog gives a cat protection, only their one partner, and a cat helps a dog find shelter, only their one partner. They stick together until one dies or the allegiance ends, and that might happen sometime later in the RP for drama. c; ~

Angel woke up with a sigh, today was the day, the day she and her brother would leave this filthy, mean pound. Looking to her left she saw her brother still fast asleep, his front leg still trying to heal "Wake Up!" Angel barked silently, which made Sawyer jolt up and making his cage shake a bit

Sawyer jolt up and looked at his sister with a question look, who was staring back at him with the "you-know-what" look "Today's The Day" he thought, his ears lying flat on his head. Sawyer looked around to find all the other animals still fast asleep, with a sigh he opened the lock with his paw "Stupid Humans" he thought with a slight smirk "They Think We Animals Aren't Smart" Sawyer thought once more as he opened his sisters cage

Rooster and Missy are both open right now }

Rooster woke up with a start. He sighed before opening his eyes to find himself looking upon the busy city street. He growled another sigh before standing, stretching out his legs. He looked over at the still sleeping Missy. He padded over to her and gently nudged her shoulder, "wake up Missy." He then looked up, and shook out his coat, getting the leaves and dirt off of him. He heard Missy sigh before feeling her presence next to him. "Hungry?" He asked roughly, glancing over at her before going to the entrance of the alley, squinting at the bright sunlight. He looked back over his shoulder before heading left, not really caring about where they were headed.

Missy was dreaming about hunting in the woods. She was following a rabbit she sensed earlier. She was about to pounce on it when she awoke to Rooster nudging her. Sighing the young canine stood, and stretched. She was a few inches shorter than Rooster, since she was younger and was just starting to lose the lankiness and fill out. She nodded glumly and followed him from the alley. She thought about what she wanted and perked her ears when she thought of something, "can we go to that cafe with the pastries?" She asked, knowing they always threw away there leftovers, and the trash wasn't taken untill the next day.
