Delilah
The tabby held in his own amused chuckles as the she-cat gave up her name without hesitation. The silver tabby always had a soft spot for those courageous ones - perhaps this one will be staying longer this time. "Delilah." he echoed, rolling the foreign tongue in his mouth. It was a strange name, one that convinced the tom that she was not clan born, her ruffled state also denied her of the kittypet status. A loner it is. "Are you by yourself?" he questioned softly, sharp eyes calculative. If the she-cat had companions they might pose a threat to the clan and Whitestar was not willing to take a chance. If the she-cat lies - and trust him, he'll find out - then she'll be introduced to the edge of the border without another word. Turning to Redcloud the leader questioned the red furred tom. "Where did you find her?" Pale green eyes took in the scraggy appearance once more. "Was she already in this tired state when you've found her?"

The tom narrowed his yellow eyes at the stranger but made no attempts at nearing the group. Whitestar seemed to be handling the situation fine and Thunderflame wouldn't like to bother the leader in his interrogation of the loner. Not to mention, he didn't want to appear like a starving elder hungry for gossips. He turned back to Tigerpaw with a gentle smile.
"Thanks for the hard work Tigerpaw. I bet your mentor is searching high and low for you now." the warrior chuckled lightly as he flicked his tail gently over the young apprentice's shoulder. "If you find him, tell him that I apologise for hogging his apprentice for such a long time." he grinned then bent down to whisper in a mock conspiratory way. "Or you can try to bribe him with your lucky catch of the day." the tabby winked. Standing, the warrior caught a glimpse of Snowdrift as she entered camp and bristled at the unfamiliar scent. It was the natural response to have and Thunderflame was quite surprised the she-cat didn't try to investigate further. Perhaps she's tired from the day's workout, Starclan knows how tired I am right now. The tom thought silently. Still, being the sociable tom he is, he stood up and made way to the pale colored she-cat. His shadow draping over her as he approached.
"Mind if I join you?" he asked softly, his face kept in a relaxed, cheerful expression. Settling himself by the she-cat's side, the tom allowed the tension within his body to drain outwards and Thunderflame sighed in relief. "I'm exhausted." he admitted, yellow eyes closing halfway. Then as if he finally remembered his manners, the tom inquired about his clanmate's day. "How did training go with Littlepaw and Smokepaw?" Hooded yellow eyes turned to face Snowdrift. Littlepaw and Smokepaw were both ready to be given their warrior names - was that why Whitestar was out? For the apprentice's assessment?
Come to think of it... I haven't seen Shadowpaw in a while... The tabby warrior felt a pang of guilt flash through him as he raised his head to search the camp. He should really be spending more time with his apprentice. "Have anycat seen Shadowpaw?" he asked no one in particular.
(( Scarletclaws is accepted! Once again, I've cleared up some spots on the clan list. Softpaw's new mentor is Hazelsky! ))
