Delilah expected a reaction like that, but what else was she to do? It was made obvious she was stealing prey from their territory by the dead mouse at her paws, so what use would there be to lie and claim she was just passing through? Delilah let out a small sigh of relief when the other she-cat decided to take them to a cat named Whitestar instead of chasing her off right away. She nodded at Honeywolf's words, and glanced towards the piece of prey she had killed, wondering if one of the cats would pick it up and take it with them, or if prey here was abundant enough that they would leave it.

Tigerpaw's eyes shined proudly at Thunderflame's compliment. He puffed out his chest a bit before nodding and bending down to nose his squirrel into the pile. Once that was taken care of the, the young tabby apprentice scented the air and bounded off in the direction where Ravenfeather's scent was the srongest. "Ravenfeather!" Tigerpaw called after he had followed the scent trail for a few moments. He glanced around him at the darkening forest, his amber eyes trying to pick up and signs of the black she-cat. "Ravenfeather! Thunderflame says its time to go!" He called again.

(( Going to move things along, shuffle, shuffle. Because I'm excited for the prophecy >w> hurr hurr and well we need to get rid of AWOL posters and recruit some new ones before we can get a move on!

When I say bonds it does not only mean romantic feelings. Friendship or mentor-apprentice bonds counts as well! For the prophecy (I'm trying my best not to reveal too much) it doesn't matter if you're disabled, blind or missing a limb - IT WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR SURVIVAL. the only things that WILL affect your survival is the cat's own personality, past and current relationship status with others! The title of the RP is pretty much a BIG hint on the prophecy if you guys haven't noticed already xDD "A test of bonds"
On that note, Thunderflame and Whitestar will need some bonding time as well ;u;

Now. About recruitment. I will be opening up slots for new RPers. But I will need some forms for Dark Forest cats as well ;u; so feel free to post if you're interested in RPing a DFC <333

Oh! Yes. If you would please take a minute to go to the front page and scroll down, you'll find a new section has been added! "Old Legends & Stories" is an archive of stories/legends of Flightclan. Feel free to contribute one of your own! Currently there's only one! However it might be in your best interest to read over that one 'story' for it's like a history lesson on the creation/beginning of Flightclan and an important NPC will be revealed in that story. However, reading it is optional and will not affect your understanding of the prophecy when it comes. (It just makes things better that's all) xDDD

Honeywolf blinked in surprise when the loner all but sighed and nodded in acceptance. Tch. What a weak willed creature. the she-cat snorted mentally as she walked up to the she-cat's flank. "Redcloud will lead the way, I'll be by your side." she informed the she-cat casually, the warning in her message clear. Don't try anything funny. Green eyes followed the loner's gaze and rested on the half eaten prey, it looked pretty unappetising rolled in dirt and torn half open. What a waste of prey. "If you're not going to finish that at least bury that poor thing." the she-cat meowed dryly, nudging the rat over and turning it on it's side so that it's gaping wound couldn't be seen from her side.

Delilah held back a small growl. This entire thing was irritating at the least, but she knew that there was no hope in escaping, so why try? In her dilapidated state, Delilah would be no match for two strong, well-fed cats. She was glad, though, that they had decided to take them to their leader instead of chasing her off or killing her right then and there. Delilah didn't know how long she'd make it without the abundance of prey this territory seemed to have.

Delilah pricked her ears and turned her eyes towards Honeywolf as the she-cat spoke, telling her that she should bury her kill. The concept was foreign to the loner, as she had never before had enough prey to have to bury it and save it for later. But, not wanting to upset the feline, Delilah dug out a small hole and nosed her kill into it, before pawing the loose dirt back over the top of it. She returned her chocolate brown eyes to the two warriors in front of her, wondering when they were going to go ahead and lead the way.

xxxThe short-haired tom blinked at how fast everything had suddenly happened, having nodded in reply to the 'in charge' part Whitestar had given him and watching the she-cat and him prance off to do whatever had been asked. With a soft, low murmur, his back straightened. He was left alone at the fresh-kill pile once more, but not for long. Once he was about to go looking for his apprentice, he stopped himself when Crookedheart passed by and grabbed a robin. Without much time for a proper greeting other then a flick of his tail in acknowledgment, he watched him take it off to the Warriors' den to eat. A grumble in his stomach kept him from thinking straight, it obvious he was going to be taking from the pile before everyone else had; like he should be in the first place. Once again he was stopped from taking a juicy animal from the pile, Hazelsky in front of him and asking about what he had just heard.
xxxHonestly, he didn't want to tell her much. She was the 'gossip girl' or FlightClan and he knew she's spoil most of it. Giving a bitter sigh, he dipped his head and gave a fake, but convincing smile. "Hello, Hazelsky. It is great to see you up and running. And about Whitestar, it's a secret. I'm sworn to keep any and all secrets, therefore I cannot tell you. I am very sorry." Perfect. A small, silent purr ran through his throat as he was somewhat proud of himself for replying so smoothly. His tone didn't waver and he sounded like the proud, stand-tall cat he was. As if all the cats in the world were to converse around him today, he watched as a kit pounced onto the blue-eyed Tom's feet and mewled about being bored. With a soft snort, he glanced around. Catching sight of his apprentice, his tail flicked and he bowed his head in apology. "I need to take my apprentice out, but I can't. I was left in charge of camp while everyone else went out to hunt and such. I wonder if Whitestar would mind or if I'd have to wait a tad longer." It has hard to tell what he was thinking; there was no worry in his tone of voice or either of his eyes, and he seemed as calm and collected as usual.

xxxThe small, light-colored female slowly got to her feet from where she lay inside the den she called home. Giving a wide, grinning yawn, she pranced outside of the den and into the Camp. Cats were everywhere, chatting in the corner and at the fresh-kill pile, as well as enjoying meals. An happy purr rumbled from her stomach and into her throat, she skipping into camp as happy as could be. She couldn't help herself from hiding her happiness for a new day, always enjoying seeing the other cats, hearing, seeing, and feeling the sounds of morning. She was a morning-cat, loving it more than most would have thought was normal. Sitting down outside the den, she started licking her paw, brushing it over her head and beginning to groom herself briefly. For some reason, everything felt perfect and in place for the new day.

Snowdrift sat back on her haunches, ears pricking forward as she listened to Eaglestrike as the older warrior instructed the two apprentices on what he wanted them to do. Smokepaw was first up, and Snowdrift had to say she was considerably impressed with her apprentices first attempt at the half-turn belly rake. The only down side to it was that he had stumbled towards the end. She smiled warmly at Smokepaw and gave a small nod of her head in praise to her apprentice. The white pelted she-cat watched as Littlepaw performed the move, but what she easily noticed was that Littlepaw had shut her eyes and forgotten to rake Smokepaw's stomach with her paws. Snowdrift remained silent as Eaglestrike informed his apprentice of her mistake and ordered her to perform it again. This time, she had performed better, however she noticed that the apprentice and slide onto her side a little too late and in battle could effect her chances of actually attacking an enemy. But none the less she still had managed to slide under Smokepaw's and rake his stomach. She opened her mouth to praise both apprentices but was cut off by Eaglestrike, her ears briefly pinned against her head in annoyance, but she made no comment as Eaglestrike suggested they have a spar. She agreed with the idea, seeing as she had suggested it earlier. Snowdrift rose to her paws and bounded a few steps away, not wanting to be accidently tackled to the ground by either apprentice as they sparred. She sat back down, wrapping her tail around her forepaws, ears pricking forward as she awaited for the two apprentices to begin.

Getting ready in position, this was her chance to lift up the chances of her to not failing the test and get her warriorname, she had to make this or she most likely wouldn't stand a chance. Her fur raised a bit as her back lifted and her ears went slightly back as she was ready to block Smokepaw to ger behind her where her imaginary kits where, and ger tictac to make it work was to make herself think that they wheren't imaginary.
She could imagine the sounds of hungry or scared kits and had to think twice so she didn't unsheat her claws at him. I will make it this time...

Keriae - I do have my warrior Nettleclaw or maybe Littlepaw ik that case, they would have to spend more time if she failed the test thou. That could be something to make those two bond or on the other hand make Eaglestrike angry but we couldntry if your up to that?)

Darkness consumes all. In a constant battle with the light, when victory is within grasps, it drowns weak ones with fear. It isolates one's mind. How ironic. he thought, that both sides lived in a world of darkness - whether you're preserving justice or sowing chaos, you live in darkness. They live in darkness.

The ground he walked rippled in an outward spiral with his every step. Things are quickly changing and darkness is growing stronger. For better or for worse? The ground beneath his paws trembled and he looked down the translucent surface - down to the world of living. There vibrant souls scattered across the area, blinking up at them like brilliant stars. Mocking them? Reminding them? He continued walking. How will this change affect the living? How will it affect both sides? His paws instinctively stopped at the borders between the two sides, sharp eyes glancing over at the foreign territory. The answers will soon be revealed... he thought silently, sitting down and curling his tail patiently over his paws.

He was the one who started it all and he had the duty to witness the events unfold until the very end.

These are NPC posts and they provide a different perspective on the prophecy and what's going on. Currently it's just a prologue (there'll be several more) and these are posted just to build up tension to the prophecy xDDD
Still, it's quite fun trying to guess what's happening eh? @w@

NPC posts will play a big part in the prophecy when it starts! So try to remember not to ignore them! ))
