Liora
| Female | 3 Years | Hunter |
Liora is a slender blue belton English Setter. Her dapples concentrate on her face and her flank. She's a little on the small side, just a tiny bit below average at 1 foot and 10 inches. Even though Liora is still relatively youthful and arcing to her prime, she looks like a fully fledged adult with all the beauty and grace of an English Setter.
Liora is quieter than your average English Setter, with a hint of shyness. She's easy-going and considers herself nice. She's a good listener and can cheer you up as well though with strangers or even dogs she isn't friends with, Liora's almost wary and guarded. Liora also has an undercurrent of stubbornness in her, a streak that will surface every once in a while. Shyness and quietness doesn't mean that Liora's a pushover. Liora usually won't start a conversation but if somebody talks to her, she'll respond and continue.
More than anything else, Liora loves running--the wind through her fur; the beat that her paws make, drumming against the floor; the world becoming a blur around her of green, brown, and gray--all of it. She also likes mornings and that moment after a rain when the scent of the Earth hangs heavy yet freshening at the same time. Liora--despite her thick-looking coat--will do okay in most types of weather though she prefers cool autumn or spring days, when the weather is hovering and transitioning between summer and winter. Liora hates hates HATES water and those cold, dreary, gray rains. It's strange because she loves the moment after the rain but dislikes the rain itself.
Liora doesn't panic easily and has a calm, yet optimistic aura about her, expressed in a gentle smile, a swish of a reassuring tail, the understanding in brown eyes.
Liora has a lot of faults, though. She absolutely refuses to do anything she doesn't like unless it's a certain life-or-death situation. Liora has absolutely no tolerance with dogs that think they know it all or dogs that look down on others without even getting to know them. When she's grumpy, Liora will show it in a snappy voice and bared or clenched teeth. Liora also makes snap judgements about dogs within moments of a conversation. Liora can also be overly willful with that quiet stubbornness. Not a growling or barking demand but a silent resistance and eyes glinting defiantly.
Liora is pretty sure she's a purebred and takes a small bit of pride in that but doesn't know for certain. Liora woke up in a strange place and amnesia two years ago, with only flashes of remembrance to help her survive in the wild.
