- ➳ Fae || Crushing on Seth || Relaxed
- Zhanne padded through the trees for what seemed like an eternity - for the forest was wide and sprawling, streching for miles and miles, almost too large for Zhanne to comprehend. It was when she was walking through it that she was reminded just how small she was, making her feel slightly vulnerable, but Zhanne quickly shook it off. The young she-wolf licked her lips and realized that she had grown quite hungry. The huntress thought that it would be an ideal time to hunt - she was beginning to feel the pangs of hunger, but wasn't yet completely famished, so she had the energy to hunt with ease. Though she'd originally been planning to meet the rest of the pack, Zhanne decided she had the time to find a small catch. As the wind picked up, Zhanne tipped her head back just slightly, allowing the scents of the forest to fill her nose. Zhanne could smell something not far away - a rabbit? Mice, perhaps? Zhanne wasn't quite sure, but the fae's curiosity got the better of her. After all, food was food.
Trotting swiftly through the trees and following her nose, Zhanne drew closer to where the prey seemed to be, so she began to crouch, but sensing something odd, the fae's eyebrows drew together in confusion. The scent didn't seem so fresh any more - in fact, it seemed rather fetid. Breaking through a patch of brambles, Zhanne stood tall once again, looking down on the foul carcass of a rabbit. Flies buzzed lazily around it, landing on the pungent meat before flitting off again. Zhanne wrinkled her nose. The meat was clearly past its prime - if eaten it could make a wolf ill, but Zhanne didn't dare try. Turning her back on the rabbit, Zhanne decided she would see if the other hunters were back in the territory. Maybe they could go hunting together - catch something big. The whole pack might be getting hungry by now.
Not long after, Zhanne found herself back where the rest of the wolves where. She saw the alpha a few feet away, then her gaze fell upon Blaise, then Anaka - both of whom seemed to be in bad moods - and then...Seth. Zhanne's mouth suddenly became dry, her hunger forgotten. Seth wasn't facing her, allowing the fae to steal a look at the brute. She sighed quietly as she looked at the healer. He probably didn't see her as anything other than just another packmate - which made Zhanne slightly upset, but from here she could fantasize just a little without his knowledge. She moved around the camp slightly, stealing glances every so often, careful not to be caught staring.
