okay, well maybe blaise did have a hidden crush. it was very secretive and discreet though, since blaise didn't even realize this herself. she teased kotori a lot, and was quite a pesky wolf towards him. of course, blaise was like that to everyone, so i guess it wasn't anything special. being totally unaware of her crush, blaise didn't exactly fawn over him. more likely, blaise hated him. kind of the love-hate relationship a ton of wolves have with blaise. her crush to him was more like an accidental love. blaise had always been the observant one, but she could be so oblivious to simple things.

walking speedily along, blaise's sharp eyes carefully scanned the area around her, the fae's vision making up for her lack of smell. as the fae picked up a faint splash, her head instantly bolted up, her brown eyes quickly looking over to the side, where the river sat. herds of large prey often went through the river, and this is where blaise would often hunt, despite her rank. crouching down, blaise began to slowly make her way through the brush, careful not to make sound as the water disguised their scent. slowly moving forward, peeking out of the brush as she saw two fellow pack mates, the rather pretty hope and the white ryland. watching the two for a second, blaise soon gently got out of the brush. you two lovers enjoying your, 'alone' time? blaise asked in a cocky and feisty voice, her old teasing personality coming back.

The words slipped out of her mouth before she could've thought of what question he had asked, feeling a bit awkward to hear the same question be asked once more "My name is Ember, and what about you?" Ember had asked the same question towards this male wolf, which felt a bit strange when it came out from her.

The black fur on her body began to heat a little too much, making her tongue roll out of her mouth in a quick motion, giving little huffs of air called by panting, slowly cooling her heated body down to a temperature that she could fully manage.

At Ember's reply he wanted to let out a yelp of frustration. Ah! That's what is was! Ember! it was just on the tip of Kotoi's tongue. Now he remembered, this was the Beta female of the Amoretto Pack. He bowed into submission to show respect, to make up for his rude tone earlier. It seemed like Ember had ignored it since she had not acted in anger or annoyance or anything of the sort.
Quickly Kotori returned to has paws. "Kotori," He replied, the roughness in his voice tuning down a little as he talked again. He cleared his throat again, his lime green eyes on the shaded ground as he sat back down. Ember had probably heard about him since he had gotten into a lot of fights since he had been here, which caused a lot of wolves to go and complain to the Beta and Alpha.

Ember had first noticed that he had bowed towards her, in the back of her head she dismissed that. Kotori, so that was his name wasn't it? A smile stitched across her face to show her additude melting into a calm and content state rather than being irritated and annoyed towards this male named by Kotori "What a rather, fitting name to you..And the submission is not needed at all, you don't need to submiss towards a second in command..Well..That is in my own opinion"

Brown and yellow mixed eyes closed to hide the color, then opened to reveal it again "Hmm, I may have heard of you before..You look somewhat familiar. But it may be just my eyes playing tricks, my mind is never honest to me" A chuckle was pulled out of her throat at her own words, Ember's attention pulling fully to him in interest.

His eyes flicked back up to see her smiling. Kotori felt himself relax and his heart let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you..." He murmured, his voice turning more husky now. He spoke barely above a whisper. Kotori felt slightly flattered at the compliment. "And I think it is appropriate to address and respect both the Alpha and Beta. They are the most important wolves of the Pack, and the most honorable."
At Ember's last comment Kotori subconsciously rocking on his haunches for a second. The Beta had heard of him? That made him uneasy because Ember might have a bad image of the brute already. However she was a little unsure herself so that relaxed him a little. The wolf remained silent, dozing off to lala-land for a second before Kotori realized he still have his gaze of Ember. Quickly he tore his gaze away, his eyes back on the ground.

Sakari watched the male before her with her amber orbs curiously, and listened intently until he was finished speaking. Briefly, she turned her dark brown head, nose to the sky, and scented the air from the direction of which he spoke. Her eyes drifted closed as she tasted the wind, allowing her mind to fully concentrate.

Scents of spring filled the air - snow melting, plants sprouting, wildflowers blooming... the world coming to life once again. The ever-so faint scent of prey filled her nostrils as well, though she could not identify anything large enough to require more than one wolf to take down. Dropping her nose, she once more fixed her gaze upon Falathorn, the sunlight glinting across her amber irises.

"If you need me to help or anything, let me know." She offered, with a half smile. "It'll be nice once the herds come back and we can hunt more often."

Kronos
[ 4 yrs old || Male || Fighter || Lazing out in camp]

When Kronos reached the point to where he could see the other wolves, he suddenly got a streak of anti-socialness, and decided he would instead go for a drink. Hiking a left, he took off at a silent lope through the sparse grass that would be a lush meadow soon enough. The sun warmed his pelt, as he slowed to a walk, and chose a rather snowy path to take. At this point in the day, the temperature had reached above freezing, and the thin layer of snow that still covered the ground was mush under his big, black feet. Behind him, he left a trail of large paw prints as he continued on.

At once, his heart skipped a beat and he ducked behind a large boulder that he knew would be sufficient to hide him, when two more wolves came into view. One, he knew to be Kalous, one of his lead fighters, though whether he was truly superior would remain to be seen, and perhaps might never be revealed. The other, the pretty huntress Nonna, the object of his recent thoughts.

He wasn't sure what he liked about her... she was pretty, but many of the females in the pack were, and she had a heart of gold when it came to others. Always happy, always friendly, always willing to go out of her way for others. Perhaps that was it, maybe it was because she was everything he was not. Everything that he wished he could've been instead of what he was and is. He quickly shook his head of the thought.

Peering a bit closer, he saw that Nonna was offering Kalous a rabbit, and felt a slight pang of jealousy at the sight. Blinking, he withdrew his eyes, and cursed to himself for thinking that way.
