Her name is Berri. It's a nickname. She doesn't like her full name, and won't share it. She insists her name is Berri.

She is two currently, but turning three in summer.

She is pure mustang.

Berri is just off 14hh, making her a tad under average. She is naturally quite a small mare though; she's very skinny.

Berri is a steel grey mare. Her legs are black, but fade up into a dark grey body. She has pale dapples along her neck and flanks that look like snow. Her head is mainly light grey. The hooves and mane are black, whilst her tail fades to creamy colour at the ends. Berri has brown eyes.
Other ;;
Her fur bleaches a slightly paler colour grey is summer. During the colder seasons it darkens again though.
Beneath the skin
Personality ;;
Arguably, you won't find a sweeter, better-natured mare than Berri.
Unfailingly kind and loyal, she will care and look out for any horse, regardless of their temprament. She sees the best in everyone, and will not label someone before she knows them - for example, if a mustang is considered "cruel" by others, Berri will not accept that until she has made her own judgement of them. Why would they act in a harsh way? It is her thoughts that no horse is bad; some are just effected by their circumstances in a negative manner.
She does her best to be fair and helpful, and tries to treat everyone fairly - even if they don't offer her the same in return.
Do not consider her as weak or timid though. Berri will fight to the death for those she cares about. She is not easily spooked. In fact, she is very brave for being a small, young mare. Finally, Berri definitely has a very mothering spirit. This is part of the reason she is eager for a foal.
History ;;
Berri was born in a herd here in Arizona. She was a late summer foal, and used to play with the other fillies and colts. She expected to grow up and have her own family one day. Unfortunately, life doesn't run as smoothly as that.
Her herd frequented a lake in Autumn, in which the water was diseased. As she was a late foal, she still mainly drank her mother's milk. It was this that saved her. The other members of her herd began to fall ill and die - including her own mother.
Against the odds though, Berri survived. As Winter neared, Berri saw little point in staying with the few Mustangs that were still alive. She went off on her own, searching for a more thriving, healthy herd to join.
Relationships ;;
She has been too young so far for any relationships, but this year, she hopes to get in foal. She'd make an undoubtedly good mother after all.
Relatives ;;
Any close relatives like her mother and father are dead. She hasn't had any foals yet.

Name ;;
His name is "Simba". He was named by his mother shortly after his birth. He has no nicknames.
Gender ;;
Simba is a stallion.
Age ;;
He is three, coming on four. He was born in late February.
Breed ;;
He is a pure wild mustang.
Rank ;;
He is currently a lone Bachelor. In the future, he may be interested in creating his own herd. Currently, however, he isn't ready for that amount of responsibility.
Appearance
Height ;;
Simba is 14"3hh at the withers, which is a little taller than average, but he is a stallion.
Colouration ;;
He is a roan colour: dark brown with paler flecking all over his body, though his face is mainly brown. He has a very small white swirl between his eyes. His legs fade to black (he has no socks) and his hooves are an average grey.
Simba has dark brown eyes, whilst his mane and tail are just off black.
Other ;;
He has a hoof-shaped scar on his left flank; the result of a one of his fights.
Beneath the skin
Personality ;;
Simba is a typical young stallion: young, proud, full of attitude and with plenty to prove.
He is confident, and has no problem with chatting-up pretty mares - though he does his best to avoid older, stronger stallions. He knows his limits, though that doesn't stop him from pushing further. He's the type that's up for anything...especially if it means impressing someone. Yes, he's a bit of a show-off, but when you're on your own, you tend to want a little attention.
Simba is genuinely a good-hearted horse. He has a sensitive side, which may have come from a long time being on his own. If you show him care and respect, he'll do the same for you. He'll do a lot for a horse like that. But trying to force him or bully him into something won't work; he'll just turn and walk away.
History ;;
Simba was born in a small herd somewhere within the mustangs' grazing land. As he was colt, his father, the herd's stallion, banished him when he was around a year old, so he didn't challenge his leadership. Since then, Simba has roamed around on his own terms, avoiding stallions yet searching for mares.
Relationships ;;
As a Bachelor, he doesn't have a herd or any mares. He doesn't want a whole harem to look after, though he wouldn't mind one mare to keep him company. He is very much open.
Relatives ;;
Simba's parents are still roaming somewhere in Arizona, though he hasn't seen then since he left the herd. He may have siblings but has never met them. He has sired no foals.
