When the French Revolution occurred, and a follow-up battle took place, the royals of France knew it would not be safe for them, and particularly their children. So, despite their pride and loathing attitude, they called England to help, and much to their surprise, England agreed to help. Astonishingly enough, there was not nearly as much conflict as predicted, despite being rivals, or formerly so. However, the air had not yet cleared, & the royals on top of the chain knew what they had to do: in order to create a future alliance, arranged marriages amongst their children and servants would have to be made. And to add to the fun of it, why not add the Princes and Princesses of other countries that happened to be visiting the English family while at it?
And so it was decided. Only, how set-in-stone were these pairs, truly? While some would undoubtedly find love instantly, others could most certainly be up for a good game of cat-and-mouse...
