          - - - - -He quirked a brow at her comment, following her gaze to the gentle waves of the ocean just beyond the shores of the demi-gods' little island. He didn't exactly know what the ocean could offer in ways of company, but he supposed that was something those weird Poseidon kids got that the rest of the demi-gods never would. He shrugged off the thought, rather used to it from Diana at this point. She was a total hippie. Which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. In fact, if it weren't for her being so mellow most of the time, Ben was certain she wouldn't have been able to deal with his difficult arse. He took a seat next to her, gazing out at the sun, but immediately having to look away, blinking furiously. It was just so bright. That was the point, sure, but still. Did it have to be so blinding? He shrugged. "Eh, I was in the common room anyway. Needed somewhere to go cause my roommate and his gang of weirdos are stinkin up my space," he said, grimacing a bit at the thought the chaotic little fire boy who ever seemed to leave his desk chair. If it were just Leo there all the time, it wouldn't bother him as much. It was his space after all. It was all his dumb friends being loud and obnoxious and keeping him up at night for no reason. "I got your text and ran," he admitted, leaning back on his hands as his feet kicked lightly off the side of the roof.

          - - - - -When he heard Max's voice, he immediately snapped to attention once more, his head whipping around and him nearly throwing himself off the roof with the dramatic speed and momentum be put behind such a small movement. After regaining his balance, he grinned at the son of Poseidon, giving him a small wave. "Yo yo yo!" he called. He quirked an eyebrow at the comment. Adrian. That sounded familiar. He knew of a couple of Demeter kids, but couldn't place the name to a face. He might have been the super grumpy one. "Is he the one whose only friend is a ficus?" he asked. He rolled his eyes at the idea that carrots have feelings, making a sound something between a scoff and a chuckle. "Nerd," he said. But, at the idea of ranting, he felt his teeth clench for a moment. "Don't even get me started, dudebro," he said, crossing his arms over his chest. "My dummy roommate and his dummy friends are overpopulating my room and keeping me up all night with their dummy plans. I swear those losers think they're inventin' Facebook or somethin," he complained. "And it's confusin because I can't even tell which of his losers he's hookin up with anymore so I'm not even in the loop on all the dummy drama," he added. "I'm losin my mind, dudes. I just wanna sleep and be with a roommate that I don't want to yeet out the window every second of every day," he added. He let out a shallow breath, rolling his shoulders a bit to release all the tension there. "Anyway, how's life, fellas?"

          - - - - -Izzy couldn't be bothered to give Polly much more than a roll of her eyes, typing away at her keyboard and doing her best to ignore her. She prided herself on her ability to take the high road, even when it was difficult. Polly made it feel damn near impossible though. The daughter of Nemesis was huffing, dramatically throwing herself around as if that would make a difference. Her voice was laced with sarcasm that the daughter of Zeus found more annoying than anything else. Why the girl was so determined to rouse her anger was beyond her. Was she that desperate for her attention? Or was it just attention in general that kept her going? And what was it about having people notice her that gave her meaning? It was sad and pathetic, if she were being honest, just another reason she couldn't stand her roommate. The girl was constantly sticking her nose where it didn't belong, stirring up as much trouble as she could and picking fights with whoever would give her the time of day. If she weren't forced to share a living space with her, Izzy would find it much easier to ignore her, much like she did the other campus troublemakers like Demetrios, namely. But, given that she couldn't escape Polly, Izzy found that, over time, her antics had ground away at her nerves. It was almost too easy to snap at the girl. But, to her credit, she was being annoying at the moment. Not cruel. It's easy to ignore annoying. It's almost immoral to ignore cruelty.

          - - - - -She only half-listened as Polly and Marcie -- who tended to operate in similar, less-than-kind manners -- briefly discussed the part tonight. The fact that both of them were going made the whole thing seem a little less appealing. Then again, parties were almost always unappealing to her. Even with as easily as Izzy could navigate a crowd, she didn't necessarily enjoy all the chaos. She was an orderly individual by nature. Still, she thought it might be best to go, just to keep things from getting too crazy. She couldn't control a large number of her classmates -- if any -- but she could do enough damage control to keep people from getting into trouble, she thought. And, if Ash was going to be there, she felt like he had to attend. No one was going to start trouble if her sister was involved. She knew that Ash wasn't as naïve as she often seemed, but it wasn't enough for her to let her guard down, particularly when alcohol was involved and half the school was going to be out of their minds. She loved her sister. She loved her friends. She needed to keep them safe if she could. And if that meant subjecting herself to whatever mean-girl garbage Polly and her girl gang decided to throw at her, she'd do it. It wasn't the worst thing she'd been through, she knew. Besides, with the party as crowded as it was likely to be, it probably wouldn't be too hard to avoid her roommate altogether.

          - - - - -Finally, she finished her paper. She'd have to proofread the whole thing later, but finishing up her little chat with Marcie and getting their project out of the way was a more pressing matter. She closed her laptop, looking up at the girl to hear her suggestions. They were simple enough, she thought. Probably as good of a method as any. She nodded. "Sounds good to me," she said. Of course, it would mean that the presentation would be stale, kinda awkward. But, she supposed most group projects tended to be like that. Presentations very rarely came naturally to someone and they almost never came naturally to pairs unless they happened to have exceptional chemistry. Izzy and Marcie had no such chemistry, nor did she ever see it going that way. It was no secret that Marcie had some sort of disdain for the daughter of Zeus, despite Izzy not ever being cruel to her -- to her knowledge, that is. Izzy always tried not to proceed with prejudice and it was much easier to deal with Marcie like that than it was Polly. Polly was just a nightmare and a half. She shrugged. "We can," she said. "Or we can wait until tomorrow or something. I know everyone's buzzing about this party right now and I just finished a big paper. I don't think either of us are going to be able to focus the way we need to right this second," she said. It was obvious that Marcie didn't want to work with her anyway, that she wanted to get the project over with as little contact between the two of them as possible. Again, Izzy didn't quite understand it, but she was willing to accept reality. They just needed to grit their teeth to get through this assignment and then go their separate ways. Until they were inevitably paired up for another assignment in the future. They were in the same major, so escaping the awkward tension was next to impossible.

          - - - - -Another person entered the common room, presence made known from the click of her very expensive boots against the floor. Beverly Wade looked like she'd rather be anywhere else the moment she looked up and saw who was in the room. Bev and Izzy didn't have any sort of meaningful relationship. They didn't care for one another, but didn't hate each other either. Bev was totally fine with Polly, Izzy knew, since the two were practically joined at the hip, hurting people's feelings like there was no tomorrow. However, there was an obvious tension between her and Marcie, Bev's expression dropping to something that looked flat, almost disappointed. She let out a little sigh and rolled her eyes. "Ladies," she said, her tone icy yet even, perfectly fitting given her godly parentage. She crossed the room, eyes wandering over to Marcie for much too long, casual disappointment clear in her expression. There was a certain pain that the daughter of Boreas felt, one that she wouldn't readily admit. She was supposed to have at least one friend in her life. A best friend, someone to count on and someone to genuinely love in this stupid world full of stupid people. That one friend had once been Marcie, but this summer ruined everything. Bev had no idea what she did to ruin things, but there must have been something that chased the daughter of Aphrodite away. Or maybe she was just bored with her. That would explain why she kept blowing her off and blowing her off until Beverly eventually gave up. It wasn't worth the chase. Nothing was. She tried not to hold onto the bitterness she felt, but who was she kidding? Of course it was going to be clear as day in how she looked at the girl, how she huffed when she passed her and how she accidentally bumped her shoulder on her way to Polly. "Polly," she greeted with a smile. "Is it time already to ruin Isabelle's day?" she asked. "Day's not ruined. Nice try though," Izzy quipped. Bev rolled her eyes, raising her brows a bit at Polly. While Bev didn't particularly hate the girl, she knew for a fact that Polly did, that the two were constantly at one another's throats. If the two of them were in the same room, there was bound to be some conflict. She moved on though, since she didn't want to involve herself in whatever Izzy was doing and, in turn, invite Marcie into the conversation. "Do you know what you're wearing to the party tonight? I had a couple of things picked out, but wanted a second opinion," she said, ignoring the other girls in the room for the moment.

          - - - - -Leo and Rob had already completely abandoned the dorm and were off on some incredibly stupid, high-risk adventure with a bunch of other chaotic dunders. She had absolutely no evidence to support this claim, but Bray was confident that's what took place just seconds after the left the room and entered the boys hall. Those two were wonderful people, but absolute morons who were always onto the next moronic thing. She loved them dearly for it, finding that she could get hours of entertainment from them, when she wasn't bailing their big butts out of trouble for any of their stunts. She had no idea what they had planned or who they planned it with, but she knew that she couldn't go back to Leo's dorm once she'd been to the restroom, for she would just find it empty. And, as nosy as Bray tended to be sometimes, she wasn't about to betray her brother's trust by snooping through his stuff for no good reason. Even if she thought she might get a clue as to why he was acting so funny when Myles came over. It shouldn't have been that awkward, right? Rob thought it was weird too, so she certainly wasn't overthinking things. But maybe it was nothing. Maybe something weird had just happened the night before and Myles saw something he didn't want to see. Maybe they just had a bad text encounter where someone sent the wrong message to the wrong person and no one bothered to correct it. There were a thousand different reasons that Leo would be acting Odd, but she didn't necessarily expect the same from Myles unless something really strange happened. But there was no point in obsessing over it now. She'd definitely ask Leo once he had a drink or two though, knowing she'd be able to get more answers out of him when he wasn't so guarded. And wasn't around Rob.

          - - - - -She heard a lot of chatter from up ahead, all familiar voices. She perked up at the sound, knowing that, even though her mind was somewhere else, it was in her nature to be nice to everyone, to greet them all and act like she truly cared when she didn't always. So, no matter who was there, she was going to be friendly and put on a smile. It was simply who she was. One of the people in question was Myles, apparently, which was interesting. Maybe she could get more answers out of him here. She grinned at the son of Hermes, accompanied by Scout, Kinnick, and Ezra. Ezra? Oh no. Oh no this was not going to be as fun as she thought. The idea of pestering Myles for information about Leo had completely escaped her mind as an awful knot formed in her stomach. What happened? What did she do wrong? She couldn't stop thinking about the last party she attended, about her time with the son of Dionysus and about how awful she felt when she finally accepted the fact that he wasn't going to text her back. He wasn't going to call her and he probably wouldn't even acknowledge her in the hallways. The whole thing was over now and for what? She'd never let herself be so stupid around him -- or anyone, probably -- ever again, she decided. It was obvious that the whole thing didn't mean anything to Ezra, that, if she was anything to him, she was a mistake. And an annoying one at that, probably. She wished she could go back in time and prevent the whole thing. Or at least prevent herself from texting him the next morning and making a complete fool out of herself.

          - - - - -Despite the pit in her stomach and her heart rate going nuts, she put on a smile, nodding at the crowd. "Hey boys," she said, giving them all a wave. "What's going on? How is everyone?" she asked, all a part of a standard greeting for her. The way Scout said her name almost came out as a question, which confused her a bit. Did he not remember her name or something? That'd be weird. But, he looked pretty disheveled, so she supposed it wasn't that hard to believe. He was probably hungover. She could excuse that, shrugging it off. She smiled and nodded at Scout as he drug Myles along with him. "Oh yeah, absolutely. I'll see you two disasters later, she said, a slight tease. She didn't know either of them particularly well, but she still liked them both well enough and felt comfortable enough with most people to throw out comments like that. Most people took it to always be something playful, never ill-intended. Though she did think Scout was a bit of a disaster who should definitely be in therapy. Ezra and his roommate were all that remained and she couldn't stop herself from halting in front of their room, even if her smile had faded to something a little more stale and uncomfortable.

          - - - - -She couldn't help but note how messy Ezra looked, his hair unkempt and a certain darkness to his eyes. He was definitely hungover. She didn't really expect any different, unfortunately. As much as she cared about the guy, she didn't really expect him to go long without a wild night of drinking. It was nothing against him. He was the son of Dionysus, after all. Most of the god of wine's children had the same habits. Besides, it wasn't like she looked great either. Of course, she didn't look like she'd only gotten two hours of sleep the night before. Her hair was just in a ponytail instead of fixed and she hadn't put on makeup and she was wearing a hoodie and leggings. It wasn't ideal, definitely not how she wanted to look when she saw Ezra again. But beggars can't be choosers, she supposed. "Hey Kinnick," she said, looking to Ezra's roommate. "Ezra," she added, her friendly tone still present but discomfort evident. She wouldn't stop being polite just because she wanted to throw herself off a cliff at the moment, but that didn't mean that she was great at hiding just how awkward she felt. "How's it hanging? You look kinda rough, Ez. You okay?" she asked, not that she thought she'd get much of an answer from him. In fact, if history was any indication, he might just ignore her completely. Earlier, she thought going to the party tonight would be fine. Now she wasn't so sure.

          - - - - -JJ didn't have the same craving for chaos that Markus did, but when things happened to go in that direction, she wasn't one to shy away from it. In fact, she regularly felt a certain surge of energy, a new strength, pouring into her. This moment was no different. While part of her felt bad for intruding on Ash and Sam's little moment, she didn't truly care. It was all harmless fun. Nothing more. She snickered at Markus's comment, a smirk on her lips as Sam's eyes went wide, obviously taken aback by the whole thing. These poor dunders. "Don't panic, Sammy," she said, tilting her head a bit at the son of Aphrodite. "I'm not panicking. You guys are just being children," he said, but he was definitely panicking, his voice strained as he continued to absentmindedly pick at the sleeves of his sweater. Sam's cheeks went bright red after Markus' less-than-subtle comment, immediately averting his gaze and staring at a spot on the table. The boy didn't know how to be rude. But if he did, he would have said... something. Probably. He wasn't good with comebacks, okay? The rest of his siblings were experts in that department, but he was always the black sheep of the Aphrodite siblings anyway. JJ nudged her brother with her elbow. "You can't give advice if you don't have experience ya dummy," she teased. In truth, Markus had more experience than most would expect, certainly more experience than JJ, who kept people at a distance most of the time.

          - - - - -Reed had arrived to save the day, it seemed. Honestly JJ was perfectly fine with being pulled away from the library. She didn't need to bother Ash and Sam to have a good time. It was just convenient at the moment. But if the son of Ares had something in mind, she was more than happy to oblige. She grinned at her brother. "Nope. Not saviors. Definitely not saviors," Sam said quietly, but he didn't say what he wanted to, that the Eris twins were absolute nightmares, public terrors that could put even the Dionysus kids to shame if they wanted to. Of course, he couldn't fault them. It was in their blood. JJ rolled her eyes. "Relax, lover boy. We're just teasing," she said. Rob and Leo arrived as well, which was a bit unexpected. She didn't know what those two did in their free time, but she never once expected them to be hanging out in a library. Then again, she didn't expect that from Reed either. Or herself and Markus, for that matter. Really this whole gathering was pretty strange, but she shrugged it off. All the dunders on this campus were exhausted after midterms, acting Odd wasn't completely out of the question. She heard the two boys start to speak, but her phone buzzed. It was Alex, a smile forming on her lips at the realization. The son of Apollo was the opposite of her and her brother, incredibly kind and gentle-hearted, an absolute ball of sunshine. She hated to admit it aloud, but she cared deeply for the demigod, wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Without Markus, if she could get away with it. She didn't exactly trust her brother to behave himself.
          - - - - -ofc ofc!!
          - - - - -r u tagging along?
          - - - - -bring your guitar we're gonna need pltney of background music for all the fights
          - - - - -She then spammed him with a number of smirking cat emojis, several fires, and an orangutan. He'd get the picture. Probably. In truth, Alex was probably too good to be caught in the crossfire of all her and Markus' schemes, all the drama they caused whether they wanted to or not. But she wasn't about to boot him from her life and he'd never complained to her face about it so she figured it wasn't much of an issue.

          - - - - -She'd only caught bits and pieces of the conversation between Leo, Rob, and the rest of the gang, but she perked up at the word dangerous. "Did someone say dangerous?" she asked, quirking an eyebrow and smirking. "Whatever it is I'm down," she said. Her brother and Reed already crossed to the pair of boys that had just arrived and JJ followed rather quickly. "I mean, I don't necessarily need context, but it would be nice so we can get a plan together," she said pointedly to the two that had enlisted in their help. "I mean, unless you dillweeds just wanna wing it cause that's not exactly a deal-breaker for me either," she added, though she did want to know what they were doing. If they promised them adventure and fun and all they were actually doing is going for an early Taco Bell run or something she was gonna snap.

          - - - - -Once the group finally started to leave, abandoning the table and leaving Sam and Ash in peace, the son of Aphrodite let out a massive sigh of relief. Though he did noticed that his sweater's sleeves were now frayed from him tugging on them so much during the interaction. He was going to have to fix that later. Good thing he learned to sew early on.. He looked up at Ash -- finally, hoping his cheeks were as red as they were just moments before hand -- and gave her an almost apologetic smile. "I'm really sorry about those dunders. I have no idea what they were going on about, ya know. I guess they're just bored with their own lives and need to bother other people," he said with a shrug. His eyes went wide after that. "I shouldn't have said that. That was mean. They're good people and I don't think badly of them at all I swear I just -," Gods, if he didn't stop rambling he was going to yeet himself through a window or something. This was just embarrassing. "I-," but, thankfully, he was cut off by the sound of his own phone buzzing. "I'm sorry. Hold that thought. I think it's my sister," he said, answering his texts. Tiara had texted the group chat the Aphrodite siblings set up, nothing more than a mirror selfie and a request for thoughts. Of all his siblings, Sam was definitely closest to Tiara. She was the least cruel of all his siblings, definitely the easiest to get along with. Though he loved them all and thought they all had their good qualities. Even Demetrios had something about him that wasn't horrible. Right? Well, maybe not a particularly kind personality trait that Sam knew of. But his fashion sense was impeccable. So that was a plus. His brother responded the quickest, which wasn't a surprise. However, he was surprised when Demetrios called him out directly, assaulting him with his gorilla army. And then the water guns. Not the water guns.
          - - - - -you look amazing, sis. as always. <3
          - - - - -okay
          - - - - -okay don't snipe me
          - - - - -i'll be there but pls don't make a scene
          - - - - -He looked over to Ash, his phone on his lap instead of in his back pocket as he awaited some sort of onslaught from his brother. Probably in the form of another gorilla army. Or just something mean. He could never be sure. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. It wasn't that hard to just be normal, right? "So, my brother's being pretty forceful about me going to this party. And I know it'll probably be easier if I didn't go alone so, like, do you think maybe you'd wanna go with me?" he asked. "Like, I mean, I doesn't have to be anything if you don't want it to be. We can just, like, go to the party at the same time and hang out in the same spot if that's what you're comfortable with," he added quickly, averting his gaze. Oh gods, what did he just do? She wasn't going to say yes to him, especially not after that dunder question. He just made this so much worse. Or did he? She already said she was going to go to the party anyway. Maybe he'd be able to get away with all of this? Maybe it was endearing that he was such a disaster at the moment. He didn't know what girls were into, if he was being honest. He might be the son of the goddess of love, but this wasn't exactly his strong suit. A general love for mankind was all he really got from the whole love thing, but that couldn't be something something he inherited from Aphrodite, who was notoriously selfish and vindictive. He understood why he was black sheep of his family, the more he thought about it. His place among the Aphrodite brood didn't make much sense. But maybe he was better at this than he was giving himself credit for, since Ash didn't seem put off by anything even when he was stuttering his way through the interaction with the terror twins.
          - - - - -i might have a date and i don't want you to embarrass me

indent...If it wasn't for the fact that Ezra was Scout's brother he probably would've picked him up, and ran him into the middle of the Atlantic ocean, and left him there.
indent...The not so helpful words coming out of Ezra's mouth felt like a sharp slap in the face, or just really embarrassing at the least. Myles couldn't believe the demigod actually said what he said, and still couldn't register it until he felt his face flush. As the words poured out of Ezra's mouth like syrup, all that was in Myles' mind was; if this man doesn't shut up... Myles hadn't even realized fully that he was flirting with Scout until now and boy was it embarrassing to be standing here with him. Albeit Ezra's comments shouldn't have been embarrassing by any means, they were friends after all. And with friends there comes joke-comments from other friends like that. But to the contrary. Myles was flirting with the man, which made it ten times more awkward for him inside. He also probably knew that Scout most definitely was not flirting with him back, or at least he was pretty sure. Their friendship was probably like one of those friendships where you're comfortable enough to fake flirt to Scout, just the awkward part of it was that one of them was flirting, and that person was Myles. It was risky, but obviously, the other demigod hadn't meant anything by his comments, and Myles hoped that Scout saw the same with his. Not to mention he knew Scout was fake flirting because he did this with everyone, it wasn't an uncommon thing to see sadly. Yes, it did make the son of Hermes jealous to see his crush "flirting" with someone else... But of course Myles had gotten used to Scouts Odd demeanor by now, they were close friends after all. Although it was frustrating for his feelings to be outed by someone who didn't even realize he was outing them, Myles knew he needed to act like he really didn't have feelings for the son of Dionysius. Brushing the comments that were still being thrown at the pair by Ezra and Kinnick just then, he felt less flustered for about a second until Scout claimed that they were both dating as a retort to Kinnick asking if they were boyfriends. Oh my god ... if he was drinking water he would've done a spit-take right then and there, honestly, he was contemplating getting water to just do it. Not only were Kinnick and Ezra going absolutely psycho-crazy-Odd-dunder with their comments, of course, Scout had to take advantage of them and 'joke-flirt' around to a further extent. After Scout linked arms with Myles, which was wayyyy more than just the wrist touch he had received earlier, he wanted to bang his head on the wall behind them. He probably would've if he didn't look like a complete lunatic while doing it.

indent...Though shocked, he couldn't have two awkward situations today.
indent...I mean, at least Scout accepted the invite to go to his dorm. it is not like he asked that because he wanted them to be alone ya know doing stuff like Kinnick and Ezra suggested or anything... like that. Don't get him wrong, yeah, that did sound appealing to the son of Hermes. But he also assumed that it didn't to the son of Dionysius. He asked because talking with Scout alone was always one of the things Myles felt comfort in, the dude clearly had a way with words. Although the man was embarrassing Myles' inner-dialogue with some interesting claims, he hadn't had a one-on-one with him in what felt like ages. Today was the first day they had even interacted with each other in what seemed like forever to Myles. Which was something less than ideal for the man, if he could he would want to see Scout every day. Plus, he needed some form of comfort from the embarrassing interaction he had earlier with Leo and friends, and especially from the night before. He wouldn't be ranting to Scout about anything that happened, but it was nice to have some company that wasn't in the friend group of Leos. If not for Scout, Myles would probably go out and buy a stuffed animal and rant to it until the party started. At least the stuffed animal wouldn't judge him about what happened. Whatever, he just wanted this conversation to end because man, was it tolling. After the countless jokes that were supposed to be harmless but in reality were not because of Myles' feelings, he was ready for a subject change. Observing as Scout called Kinnick and Ezra old crones for not being in a relationship, Myles laughed out loud. He laughed because of the comment, yes, but also because Scout had grouped him and Myles into that label as well, considering they both weren't actually in a relationship. After Kinnick quickly defended himself with a retort back to Scout's very inconsistent love life, Myles finally spoke defending the man from the bombard of disses,
indent..."Kinnick, I'm sensing a lot of bitterness from you, maybe you should try direct that energy into actually looking for someone to date."

indent...Myles grinned at the whole situation unfolding. Of course, he didn't mean any harm to Kinnick, he was just joking, and Kinnick knew that. Though they weren't that close, all of the four men's relationships consisted of teasing each other. It was like a way of bonding almost for the Dionysius brothers, Kinnick, and Myles. Though their bonding time was cut short by Bray, who had just come from Leo's room. Oh god, he prayed she wasn't suspicious, and wouldn't ask anything about the encounter he had in Leo's room before starting a conversation with Scout. He knew he didn't act the slightest bit normal when he came into Leo's dorm to get his backpack, and the situation was an awkward one, to say the least. She was an intuitive girl, and questions were probably swirling around in her mind ready to come out. At least it was a subject change. And a way for both Scout and Myles to get out of the conversation before Scout ended up jumping Ezra or Bray ended up prying Myles about why he was acting so strange.
indent..."Hey Bray... again, uh I'm alright, can't speak for the rest of these guys considering they're all hungover like I am. But we're just talking about Ezra's nonexistent love life, a very interesting topic indeed." he responded, giving payback to the other son of Dionysius who seemed to be jaded at the entrance of Bray into the conversation. Something probably happened between those two... He thought to himself, taking a mental note. At least Ezra would be more focused on her now rather than the "fake-flirting" that just occurred between Scout and Myles. Also if Bray were to ever find out about what happened with him and Leo, at least Myles would have something on her. Although he doubted she would ever spread the details of the incident to anyone. He didn't know her particularly well, but he found she had a kind soul and probably wouldn't hurt a fly if someone put a gun to her head.

indent...Before Myles could get out of thought, Scout had already proceeded to start dragging him over to his dorm.
indent..."See ya Ez and Kinnick!" Myles yelled while continuing to be dragged by his crush down the hallway. He would suggest running the pair over there because of efficiency, but Scout had seemed to be lost in thought about something, so he decided to just have him lead the way. It's not like they were in a rush or anything, the party would be starting in a little less than an hour. So they had time to spare when it came to change for it. Responding to Scout's explanation of why they were heading to his dorm first, Myles nodded.
indent..."Sure, that sounds fine." He didn't know why the man was so insistent on changing in his room rather than his own, but he didn't bother to pry further. It wasn't a big deal either way. Arriving at the man's dorm door, which happened to be open, he observed as Scout pushed open the door and walked in while letting go of Myles' arm finally. Making his way in, Myles knew why Scout didn't want him in his room for very long while he got changed. The place was a dump, to put it lightly. Very characteristic of Scout to say the least, though he noticed that the man was embarrassed about it because of his attempt in trying to get the place cleaner. "You cleaned up for me, how cute!" Myles sarcastically spoke, trying to make it less embarrassing for Scout as he looked around the messy room. He frowned at the liquor bottles scattered across the dorm room and proceeded to step over a few as he went deeper into the room while waiting for Scout to get his clothes. Though he was a drinker as well, he didn't like when people drank in excess. It was saddening, especially if he knew them well. It's not like Myles was Scout's boyfriend though, he couldn't tell him what not to do with his life. If Scout wanted to drink himself away he could most certainly do so.

indent...Myles observed as the man rambled and tried to grasp onto words like trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue.
indent...He flushed when the comments about his body came up. You'd probably mistake him for a stoplight if he was walking on the side of the road. Turning his head and running his hand down his mouth, an ear-to-ear grin on his face appeared as he watched the son of Dionysius struggle with words. Being called nice on the eyes by Scout was something Myles never expected to happen but did happen. I mean, those types of situations were happening a lot more than Myles would like recently so it's not surprising, but this one he did like. He couldn't stop smiling as he turned towards him and watching him raid his drawers for some clothes. "You're nice on the eyes too." CRAP... DID HE JUST SAY THAT? His mind rushed with things to fix his answer so he didn't out his feelings like a total idiot. "...buddy..." Oh great, yeah he sure saved himself with that one. He didn't want to out his feelings but he also didn't want to friend zone the man, even though he managed to do the ladder. Shaking off his Odd response and making eye-contact with Scout, it was finally time to go to Myles' room. When he said he wanted to have a conversation with Scout by himself he didn't mean this. Hopefully the conversation they would have in his room would be better than the one that just occurred.
indent..."Oh, yeah, let's go." he responded to his question while making his way over to Scout and grabbing his arm. He just hoped Sam wasn't there so he wouldn't witness a potential disaster of a conversation. Using his abilities, he ran them both over to his dorm in less than a second. He probably should've warned him before he did that considering a lot of people aren't used to going that speed, but oh well. It was more efficient using his powers anyway than walking across the dormitories to get to Myles' dorm. Grabbing the keys out of his pocket and opening his dorm door, he looked around to see if Sam was in the dorm. Thanking the gods for his absence, he dropped his backpack on the dorm floor as he walked in. "Home sweet home."

THOMAS FLORENCE
XXXXXXXXTOMMY. ECONOMICS MAJOR. SON OF ARES. QUEST LINE: THE MIST. LOCATION: DORM TAGS: DEMETRIOS, RAM.
        ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
xxxxxtommy bit his bottom lip as his jaw clenched, he glanced at the time on his phone. if needed he could still fight demetrios and be able to clean himself up before he would pick up ram a couple doors down. "you're asking for it atkins." he grumbled out. the other male in the room was like a snake. well, tommy was also not the nicest of fellas, considering he was an ares boy. but still! atkins was a prissy aphrodite kid.
xxxxx"you got all that pretty privilege mate, and somehow you come off uglier than a corpse." he rolled his shoulders back and fixed his eyes on the mirror, fixing his outfit. the message from ram had come inexplicably fast but still proved his suspicions correct. maybe tommy did have a sense of fashion after all, one that demetrios could obviously not bother to recognize. as demetrios kept hauling decently crafted insults he felt his fingers tapping down on his phone keyboard out of sight. "who knew your mother would have such anti-love kids." he waved a dismissive hand. "maybe it's just you and the rest of your siblings got the good genetics." he sighed, pretending to look over his messages with ram so he could have enough time to send a typo-ridden message to ram.
xxxxx'lol mite be latr. yknow demetrios aktiins ? i'm rlly about to get int0 a fite brb :dunder:'
xxxxxand then he supplied a quick; 'doon't worry tho i won't hurt my prtty face'
xxxxxif demetrios wasn't going to budge on tommy's ability to bring ram around to his room later that night, he might as well start begging reed over text to do him a brotherly favor and steer clear from his own room that night. maybe he could convince abe to just not let any of the boys back into the dorms until the a.m. people listened to old men, right?
xxxxxtommy didn't have the ability to craft insults. he didn't have any way with words, he could barely type right. he was much rather a brash ares kid who was always in the mood to either watch a fight or get in one himself. the more unprepared he was, the better. though he wasn't as low as fighting someone who'd willingly laid down.
xxxxxnext best option; wait until his roommate decided to move so he could pin him against the closest surface and begin a wild fight, at what, two p.m? three p.m? gods what was the actual time?
xxxxxhe flipped open his phone again as he sat down on his bed shakily. he realized he hadn't even properly replied to ram. skimming over the messages he subsequently saw ram in his outfit, and though tommy wasn't an egotistical man, seeing ram look that good in pictures, and then knowing he was going to be with him for the entirety of the night made something swell in tommy's gut. he fought to stay glued to his bed and not shove his phone in demetrios face like a madman.
xxxxxhe was beaming down at his phone, teeth poking out from under his lips. his fingers felt a little loose as he typed this time, apologizing quickly for the two texts above. 'lmao sorry pretty boy my roomies just driving me up the wall he's probably gonna barricade us from even coming close to my room :fly_low_dove: '
xxxxx'but you look smokin, i'm tellin ya ram i'm gnna be fending off dunders tonight with u lookin like that' for a twenty-three year old he had horrible typing skills.
xxxxx"i don't have to say please to you atkins, i'm not a child. you sure act like one though." he muttered the last portion under his breath, pulling on his shoes, a basic pair of black boots, and standing up, intending to reside in rams room until the party. anywhere was better than sitting in a stuffy room with a man who could easily be mistaken for a bad high school villain. he stood at his mirror one last time, body tense as he stared back at his reflection.

male || twenty || son of hades || tags; tommy, reed || mentions; abe

indentRam glared at the spirit in the corner as he smiled at him, “Wipe that grin off your face! It isn’t funny!” The spirit had been laughing over the fact that he hung up on Abe and it was slowly driving him up the wall. He never hung up on anyone before and now he was doing it to his older brother, his older brother who rarely picked up when he called him in the past. He leaned his head against the wall, jerking up when he heard his phone go off again. Worry flooding his system as he read the heavily misspelled text message. Shiram jumped up about to go running over to Tommy’s room to stop the possible fight. The following message did not make him feel any better. The son of Hades quickly typed up a text and hit send, ‘I appreciate the fact that you’d protect your face... Why don’t you just come over here until the party, I’m sure Reed wouldn’t mind.’ He jumped at the feeling of a hand on his shoulder, his eyes darting over to the spirit, “Stop doing that! And stop reading my texts!

indentThe small demigod sighed as he tossed his phone to the side, it had been a few minutes since he had sent Tommy the offer to come to his room, and the picture of his outfit. He stood up and began to pace the room, muttering mostly to himself, the spirit who just stared at him with a blank face, “What if he doesn’t want to come to the room? What if I don’t look as hot as I think I do?” He watched as the spirit ran his eyes up and down his body before sending him a thumbs up, “I don’t care if you think I look good or not!” The spirit shrugged, “You would if I was living.” Ram looked at him, scandalized, “No, I have standards that you don't meet because you're a creep.

indentTheir conversation was interrupted by his phone going off and him diving to pick it up. He immediately went a bright pink as he read over the first message. Tommy had called him ‘pretty boy’ again and he felt like he was gonna pass out. The rest of the sentence only made it worse and make his body feel like it was on fire. The next message made him smile, bringing the phone to his chest and laughing happily. Ram took a deep breath and released it before he typed up a response and hit send, 'It’s okay! We could...always come back… to my room after.' His eyes darted to the ‘pretty boy’ again, 'I’ll never get tired of hearing/seeing you call me Pretty Boy...' The son of Hades realized he should’ve probably asked his roommate if it was okay, but Tommy was Reed’s brother so he’d probably agree to it. He still typed up the text and sent it, 'Hey...Is it cool if Tommy spends the night after the party? We won’t make a mess! Promise!' He meant it, mostly. Ram threw his phone to the side as his eyes traveled to the corner, “You better disappear if he actually comes back here.” The spirit just sighed and vanished into the air.
