in peace and harmony. no more will beasts ravage villages
or humans kill the abnormal. here we are all the same. d
espite our pasts of deep seeded hatred for one another w
e strive to maintain serenity and get a better understand
ing of one another. however, since these “monsters” get
such a bad rap, we’ve designed a buddy system to ensure
that every creature has a human to turn to and vice versa.

cross academy differs from the norm not
only in their interesting mix of monsters
and humans, but also in the sense that t
he very atmosphere the academy prese
nts is rather unsettling at first glance, t
hunderstorms and fog are a commonali
ty in the weather and the building itself
is rather ominous, much like that of a h
aunted house, and in fact it wouldn’t be
inaccurate since there are ghosts studen
ts whom attend here. get past the initial
look of the school and you’ll find that th
e faculty and school itself is quite charm
ing, albeit a bit old-fashioned. the camp
us is quite large, giving students plenty o
f places to explore, this includes but is n
ot limited to; a labyrinth-like library, a
cafeteria, plenty of classrooms, a pool,
green house, running track, hiking trails,
lake. not to mention the dormitory!

each dorm room provides students with their
own room and connected bathroom. rooms a
re designed to fit the necessities of the parti
cular students needs, for instance a vampire
might have a darker, windowless room that a
voids sunlight, or a siren’s room may include
a small pool or other water amenities. as for
the human student counterpart, they’re roo
m will fit the basic bedroom look. assigned r
oomates aren’t determined by gender since
individual bedrooms are separate, as such it
’s not uncommon that one female and one m
ale share the same dorm room, they do how
ever share an attached living room that they
are both able to lounge about freely. it is not
permitted that individuals enter another’s ro
om without permission, however to be safe,
a key is provided to lock their doors at night
and it is strongly recommend you do so.

the library
notoriously complex, you can find just about any book poss
ible, from spells and demonology to human development a
nd mathematics. unfortunately it is also rather cursed and
advised to travel with a partner since it’s moving walls and
labyrinth-like structures tend to get people lost, also, try n
ot to make too much noise or you might attract the librarian
, a blind monster who guards the library and attacks anyone
who makes too much noise.. no one knows what it is........

the cafeteria
the area serves a large assortment of foods to fit the needs
of both monster and human students, quite spacious, and
provides students with plenty of seating and lounge areas..

the greenhouse
like carnivorous man-eating plants? vines that insnare any
thing they touch? deadly roses? poisonous apples? enchant
ed flowers? or maybe a humble smile shrub? whatever the
case the greenhouse probably has it, filed to the brim wit
h abundant flora almost everything is dangerous in some w
ay, but hey, it makes for a very interesting botany class..

the hiking trials
the trails are good for anyone who’s looking to clear their
mind and go for a nice walk, unfortunately just be aware
that the place may or may not have a problem with the
occasional human hiker going missing due to the abundan
t amount of goblins, trolls and imps in the area.
