Generally speaking, we have three "categories" of fighting techniques employed in SYNDORICA. They are: MELEE, RANGE, and MAGIC.
Swords and spears typically fall into the MELEE category. MELEE classes are best at close range. Then you have the RANGE classes who do better
from far away. MAGIC classes are versatile with a wide utility. The best spellcasters know they are most vulnerable during casting, and stronger
spells require longer casting times, and sharper focus, not to mention more mana.

MELEE

KNIGHT - A safe choice. They are typically front-line fighters who
usually rely on swords and shields. They have great defense and
dish out good physical damage but lack magical aptitude. They've
been known to use spears, warhammers, and axes too!

MAGIBLADE - The MAGIBLADE is capable of casting some spells,
unlike the KNIGHT, but sacrifice some of their defense for magic
damage. Remember, casting spells keep you vulnerable! Their magic
is typically used to enchant their weapon.

ASSASSIN - Want to be a bit more agile? The ASSASSIN is quick on
their feet, and are rush-down fighters. They are even capable of
using throwing weapons, bows, and daggers too, but they don't
usually carry heavy weapons or wear strong armor.

RANGE

RANGER - The RANGER mainly uses a bow in combat, but are
pretty handy with daggers up close, too. It's not uncommon to see
them use guns either. They are generally well-rounded, and wears
leather type armor.

WARDEN - They are one with nature, and are capable of wielding
the magical elements to give them a fighting edge. It's not
uncommon for them to have animal companions, too. They
typically play a support role by utilizing wards and healing magic.

GUNSLINGER - Very stylish and flashy when it comes to fighting.
They channel magic into the bullets they launch at foes. They have
good range, deal faster magic damage than all the other classes,
but lacks in a strong defense.

MAGIC

WIZARD - Mainly uses staffs in battle, or magic wands. They've
spent years studying the arcane magic, and it's not uncommon to
see them with a spellbook too! They do strong magic damage, but
need to be mindful of close-ranged combatants.

CLERIC - They dedicate their innate magical talents to heal and
protect others in their light. What they lack offensively, they
make-up for in survivability. They are the lifeline of their parties,
and plays a vital role during combat.

SORCERER - Unlike wizards they are born naturally with an affinity
for magic. Mana runs in their veins, and they produce powerful
bursts of magical damage. They're usually battlemages who
fight from mid-to-close range. Their damage output is not steady.

Ice Monarch build: The Ice Monarch is a build dependent on the WARDEN class. It uses frosty spells to create ice barriers to slow down enemies.
Nothing quite compares to freezing your enemies, right?

Cannoneer build: The Cannoneer is a build dependent on the GUNSLINGER class. You trade your pistols in for a big cannon you lug around. It does
big area damage, and is even capable of magically incinerating everything caught in the blast.

Dance of Blades build: The Dance of Blades is a build dependent on the ASSASSIN class. You command multiple enchanted daggers with the
movement of your body to fight! Be elegant, be beautiful, be deadly.
